Funny thing is that Trent did see it. He was pointing it out to the O-line. then he lined up and snapped the ball and completely ignored it. He must have assumed they had somebody assigned to pick that guy up and he must have just focussed on doing his job of finding a receiver and taking for granted that his teammates would do their jobs. Otherwise, he is a complete idiot.

I have a feeling that people are going to take positives out of the GB game because in the second half, the offense is going to open up and move the ball. But that will only be because they are trailing by 28 points and GB is playing prevent for most of the second half, while running the ball down our throats. Prediction: GB is up 28-3 at the half. Final score 41-20 (GB running backs rack up 200yds ruishing) and people on this board are raving about how great the offense looked in the second half. This alone would make the rest of the season more palatable.

But atleast we would have some sense that there was a light at the end of the tunnel (and not a Train coming).

NO THANK YOU. Trent needs to go sooner rather than later. I don't know anything about Brennan but if the Bills don't think Fitz or Brohm are better than Trent, then they need to go get one. If it takes him 4-6 weeks to learn the playbook, so be it. Trent has proven that he cannot handle the job. Sign Brennan and tutor him for a few weeks. Let Brohm start 3-4 games. If he sucks, put in Brennan. The Bills are not winning more than 3 games this year with the roster as is. What the !@#$ is the difference? Lets try to find a QB that can play.

Maybe it wasn't the playcalling that was the problem in the first place. Maybe it the execution of the plays that are called. We have the same ****ty players and expect different results. Somebody tell me we would not be much better off if we had drafted Bulaga and Clausen instead of Spiller and Troupe.

Maybe Chan had money on the Dolphins. The spread was 3 and a half. We were only losing by three. Ol' Chan gave them 2 points so he could win his bet.

Alot of the blame falls on Chan. Yes, Trent sucks, but Chan is the one who chose him. The play calling today was pathetic. Trent is getting critcized for throwing short passes, but most of the time, that was all that was available. On many of the drives were we had 3rd and long, there wasn't a reeiver running downfield. They all seemed to be running crossing routes or curls, coming back toward the ball. As much as I loved the play design and playcalling in preseason, I hated it today. Chan was terrible today.

The QB sucks. The O-line sucks. Both of these are true but I think the biggest reason we lost is the coaching. The play calling sucked. It was terrible. I am officially on board with firing Gailey and starting over again. I hated the hire, but was trying to give him the benefit of the doubt, but he showed today that he is not an offensive guru as many of the Kool-Aid drinkers had said. He showed today why he was out of the NFL. Terrible game plan. Terrible play calling. Although now I understand why he has Trent at the top of the QB depth chart, he doesn't like any passes further than 2 yards. Most of the time there was not a receiver running a pattern anywhere downfield. This gameplan was awful. If things do not improve drastically, I really don't see how they expect anyone to go to the games.

The play calling sucked for the whole game. I will give Trent a pass for the first 80% of the game. But with the game on the line, he SUCKED. He never looked more than 4yds downfield. With 35 seconds on the clock, you have to throw deep and he never even tried. Don't give me that he did not have time. Roll out or drop back further and heave the damn ball. Trent is not an NFL QB, simple as that. I would gladly take JP. I atleast have faith that he would try to get the ball downfield with the time running out and the Bills trailing. Trent is EPIC FAIL and Chan Gailey sucks. I tried giving him the benefit of the doubt, but he showed today exactly why he was out of the NFL. HE SUCKS BALLS. I am in 100% agreement with the people who have said that the Bills are quite possibly the worst team in the history of the league. This team is TERRIBLE.

why? what's he gonna do? He takes a swing at a guy for calling him 'Lil Donte" and he not only gets suspended for a month, he gets sued.

Whitner is a douche. He tweeted: Would it be wrong for me to say "Were definantly 100% positively gonna WIN sunday"? and then followed it an hour or so later saying: I didn't say it...I asked if it would be wrong for me to say it...there's a difference right? I think he should actually try to accomplish something before running his mouth. He is one of my least favorite Bills.

I heard M&M say it this morning, I think it was Greene. I don't expect the Bills to be very good, but to say "worst team ever" is pretty ridiculous.

OK. I didn't think I could get more excited for the opener. But now I am. This is unbelievably awesome news.

Let's just kick the crap out of the Dolphins this week and go from there.

Scary. I have my fingers crossed that he will be able to stay healthy for the whole season and that Chan will make a man out of him. But I am not counting on it. wondering if it is possible that Trent's slow reading of defenses makes the job of his O-line harder. Is it possible that Trent's problem is not crappy o-lines but slow decision making? So, in order to avoid getting injured, he has grown accustomed to rushing through his progressions and quickly dumping the ball to the back? I am not saying that he has been playing being the greatest of O-lines, merely suggesting that his poor play made the lackluster O-lines even worse.

Who cares? Our #1 QB isn't very good. I am really not concerned with #4. It seems like the kid did not catch on. He did not get many reps at all in preseason, most likely because Chan realized that he could not handle them/did not deserve them. They took a 7th round flier on the kid and he didn't come through. If he end up on the PS, fine. If it is some other scrub like we've had in the past, that's fine. Any of these guys has an extremely low chance of ever developing into an NFL QB. I know, it happen, blah blah blah. Bottom line is any practice squad QB is an extreme long shot. If Trent is not the long term answer at QB, we will be drafting one very early next year. Whomever is on the PS this year is practice fodder. That's it.
