  1. Joique Bell just announced on twitter that he is going to Philly. "On the plane Heading to Philly....ur boy is a "EAGLE" now.....haha ''MAGIC MAN" "
  2. Everybody thought the Rams were screwed when Trent Green got injured and they had to play some guy from the arena league. That worked pretty well for them. Same with New England when they were struggling under Bledsoe and then he got hurt, they put in a guy they had drafted in the 6th round and made a dramatic turnaround immediately. I don't expect the Bills to improve drastically and immediately. But a new QB can make a world of difference in terms of execution, efficiency, confidence and leadership. I want Trent benched and I want Fitz or Brohm under center this week. I would prefer it to be Brohm because I think he has better physical tools and lacks experience.
  3. I would love to see Vick in a Bills uniform. He makes plays, something our Qbs have not done for a long time. I hate what he did and will always look at him with little respect as a human being, but I always felt similarly about Bruce Smith and I still loved watching him play on Sundays. Vick is going to be in the NFL, he may as well be here helping us. His off field issues have been handled and he is allowed to play in the league, let's go get him. Sign him for 2 years, draft Luck, Mallett or Locker to develop behind him and then build a team to return back to respectability.
  4. I think they want to let Brohm start a bunch this year and I think starting Edwards and throwing him to the wolves for a few weeks was a brilliant ploy. If they had started Brohm from day 1 and he struggled, fans would be all over him. But they trot out Edwards for 3-4 gamees to show how truly awful a guy can play even after starting for 3 years. Then they bench him and go with Brohm. The expectations will be lower and hopefully he can get some experience and start to feel comfortable back there as the season goes on.
  5. He should be the primary back with Freddy as the change of pace back. The FO should never have drafted Spiller, we should have Brian Bulaga starting at LT for us right now. He is good enough to play for GB, he is definitely better than Karl Malone Jr.
  6. The funniest part was when Cross was calling out the receivers and saying nobody was open, he put up a screenshot to prove his point and right in the middle was a wide open receiver. Cross is clueless and Trent sucks. Evans did not seem to have any issues when Losman or Fitz were throwing to him, but suddenly he is the problem when Trent is the QB. Trent has to go for this team to move forward, both literally and figuratively.
  7. Bennett and Bledsoe were trades. Lofton was at the tail end of his career and may have been a waiver claim, he was not making big money Fletcher was a decent pickup but by no means would I consider him a Top Free agent. and T.O. was a publicity stunt. Other than the Polian years when Bill wrestled control away from Ralph, the Bills have not been involved in bidding for the top FA's. and with regard to the part about them wanting to be bad to assure a top pick to be able to get a QB, I never said I thought it was a good strategy, just that I thought it was part of the Bills current strategy.
  8. I think it is less about the top FA's not wanting to come here and more about the Bills not trying to bring them here. The philosophy of the Bills has almost always been not to go after top Free agents and I tend to agree with that philosophy. Now, if we were a really good team and were just missing 1 player, then by all means, break the bank to get him. But we aren't. So it makes no sense to overpay top FA's and end up with Albert Haynesworth. That being I would have loved to see the team go out and bring in more mid-level talent to help out. They need help all across the O-line, D-line, LB, WR and obviously QB and there were guys out there they could have had at reasonable prices. The Bills chose not to go after any of them. I think part of the reason is that they intend to suck this year and try to get a high pick to get a QB and #2, I think with the lack of a salary floor this year, Ralph saw an oppoortunity to really save some dough this year so they only guys they brought in were low salary guys and undrafted FA's.
  9. They could not release him after his deal was up, he would already be a free agent.
  10. I don't give a crap if Trent is the worst QB in the NFL or not. I know that he sucks. Too what degree is irrelevant.
  11. What part of my reponse tell you that I am rooting against them. I am not. I would love to see them run the table and go 15-1. But I am also a realist. They don't have the talent, especially at key positions to be competitive. I am still be at every home game screaming my head off and I will be pleasantly surprised on the rare ocassion that they win some games.
  12. if you took the over with a 5.5 line, you are not winning. I don't care which of the 3 they have at QB, this team is not winning more than 3-4 games.
  13. There is nothing reasonable that could happen to make my think the Bills will win this game. I cannot look at the schedule and pick out any games where I think we will definitely win and I can only find 6 where I think we have a legitimate chance. Jax Det KC Cle Chi NYJ home game
  14. it has nothing to do with hits to the head or ability to throw downfield. Trent lacks the ability to read a defense and decide where to throw. If his initial receiver (whom he locks on to at the snap and never looks away from) is wide open, Trent will deliver and nice, accurate throw wherever that receiver happens to be on the field. The problem is that this does not happen very much in the NFL. Trent is not capable of surveying a defense and deciding where the pressure will be coming from, who his hot read is and/or what his next option is if his #1 target is not wide open, so he immediately dumps it off to the back or a receiver who is only a few yards away from him. His vision and decision making are the issue not his physical ability.
  15. you have to be able to pass the ball to be able to run the ball effectively and vice versa. The Bills cannot do either.
  16. What is the point of this post? You go to a Bills home game with your Dolphin fan buddies with Bieber haircuts. You get annoyed because they get harassed but none of the harassing comments are deemed by you to be original. You even get so annoyed that you almost confront a Bills fan to protest their harassing of your Dolphin fan friends, but you don't have the balls, so you post about it on a Bills message board. And the irony is that your message contains no original responses to Bills fans harassing your Bieber Buddies. This thread is pathetic.
  17. Thats the point, so many people are consumed with fear about players that we are cutting or have on the practice squad getting picked up when in reality, only would have of our current gameday 53 man roster would get picked up. This team is completely devoid of talent. Stop worrying about guys who cannot make the to 53 getting picked up. We should be looking for other players to replace the half of our current roster that are not NFL caliber.
  18. I don't believe so. I don't think there is a coach alive who could step into Chan's position and turn this group into a winner.
  19. I guess what was most frustrating to me was that Trent initially diagnosed that there was a potential blitz coming from that side, but then just stood there and got drilled. If he knew it was coming, shouldn't have been prepared for the possibility that an assignment might get missed? (an aside: Is it possible that 1 player was left free by design? Sometimes offenses have to do this simply because of the number of blitzers, but the QB is supposed to be aware of who is coming unblocked and get rid of the ball, not just do a Bledsoe impersonation and crumble like and imploding skyscaper).
  20. We could cut our whole team and almost none of them would get picked up.
  21. Wrong. People need to have some respect and common decency towards others. There is a difference between cheering on your team and being an annoying jackass. Some people will stand at the wrong times or for no reason or simply because someone behind them politely asked them to sit down. Many of the people who attend the games a classless jerks, whether drunk or sober. I have no problem with people standing on 3rd down to get load or jumping up when something good happens or standing when everyone else is standing. But I don't need some knuckle dragger standing up, facing the crowd and telling me to cheer. He should watch the game and STFU. I don't need some drunken idiot standing up and jumping around during a play when nobody else is standing. We stood for almost the entire Dallas MNF game and it was awesome. The crowd was loud and it was exciting, but that doesn't mean you should stand and be an ass just because you want to. People should be considerate of others around them. Get loud and crazy at the right times and not make an ass of yourself. I finally have seats in Row 1 so I will never have to have some moron standing in front of me. But like someone else said, its not simply standing that is annoying. The people that are standing and causing a problem would be causing a problem even if they stayed seated. They are basically obnoxious A-holes. You know who you are. Basic rule of thumb WRT standing, if the majority of other fans in your section are standing or if the people directly in front of you are standing, then feel free to stand. Otherwise sit down. Also, it would be great if you would keep your ridiculous opinions to yourseld and to stop yelling out suggestions to the coaches/players. They cannot hear you and don't give a **** what you think. Thanks.
  22. How bad would this board implode if they picked up Joique Bell and he put up 100yds on us this Sunday.
  23. Shouldn't Trent assume some of the blame? He should know that the guy may come unblocked and should be ready for it, not stand there like a statue and take a hit. You see good QB roll away from pressure or otherwise adjust to it. Trent knew it was coming and just stood there.
  24. who cares? Let them have our 4th string RB. Guys like him a a dime a dozen.
