Well, I am conflicted. On one hand, I would rather wait until April and draft Mallett, Luck or Locker.
But on the other hand, if we could get Kolb with our 2nd or 3rd rounder, that would leave our #1 pick to get a LT.
He is on the only team in the league that is run worse than the Bills.
It's no surprise they could not find a way to build an offense around his skills.
So, we are going to trade a guy who we know id good for some draft picks who may or may not ever be good.
This makes absolutely no sense.
That's not how you build a team through the draft. You keep your good players and add other ones through the draft.
Getting rid of good players for draft picks make no sense.
I could not disagree more. This team is terrible. They are historically bad. There is very little talent on this team. I agree with those in the national press that this might be the worst team in the history of the NFL. I will be surprised if they win any games. I hope they do, but I just don't see how they will.
I really don't think the Bills will leave WNY, but the closer we get to the end of the lease and the end of Ralph's lease on life, the more uneasy I feel. But if they leave, I am done with football for a very long time.
In general, I agree with this. But we are going to have a VERY high pick. I would not trade it. If we could get McNeil for a 2, then do it. Otherwise, build through the draft
Add Lynch, Poz, Whitner, McKelvin and Spiller to the wasted 1st round pick list.
None of them are difference makers and none of them are worthy of the spot they were drafted in.
I was a big JP guy back in 06-07 but he proved he was not the guy.
Trent has also proved that he is not the guy either.
But Trent not being any good does not make JP any better.
We need to move on and find the guy. Play Fitz for a fiew weeks. If he is not markedly better than Edwards, throw Brohm in there and give him the rest of the season to see what he can do. He is the only one who has not played alot and hasn't experienced NFL defenses trying to tear his head off. Lets he if he can handle it and get better with experience.
I would love to see the Bills draft Locker, Luck, Mallett or someone like that in Rd1 and sign a vet like Vick or Hasselbeck to play for a year or two while the kid gets acclimated to the NFL.
I don't care if Fitz plays any better or gets better results, I am just happy not to have to watch Edwards. He is a pansy and a quitter. He is not a leader. His own teammates did not want him on the field and have pushed the coaches to make a change at the position in the past. Edwards sucks and the games are unwatchable when he plays. I hope I never see him play again and I hope I never have to hear him speak again. He is so bland and lifeless I cannot even stand to hear him.
You have to play well when you are put in the game to persuade the coaches to put you in some more.
CJ has looked lost so far this year, but it's early
They are not trading Lynch. They've said it all along. Today, they allowed Joique Bell to get signed by Philly rather than activating him to the roster. Lynch is here to stay. Maybe they gave Lynch the most carries because he has shown last week and in practice that he is most capable of carrying the load.
