this has been debated over and over. Lynch is a more accomplished back that Bell and Simpson and he brings a different running style than Spiller and Jackson. The 3 of them perfectly compliment each other. Bell and Simpson looked good in preseason, but were not going to get carries if we kept 4 and the Bills were not interested in trading Lynch, nor would they have gotten reasonable value if they did try to trade him. Be happy that we have three good backs on the roster and hopefully Bell on the PS. The other side of this is that every back we played seemed to get pretty good results, which seems to indicate that we are getting solid run blocking from the offense. That is a positive we can take forward into the season.

You need to relax. You also need to look at the roster. We have Hangartner, Levitre and Wood as the starters inside. Backed up by Cordaro Howard and that's it. Wang can also cover inside but he's still not healthy. I'm no rocket scientist but that lineup doesn't look rock solid to me. I agree that we could use tackles, but the interior of the line is also a concern.

They did not get the Stacy Andrews trade in to the league before 6 so they cut Jean-Gilles and want to resign him tomorrow. Buffalo should do a waiver claim or sign him to a long term deal today. Very good interior OL

really surprised about Jones over Jackson. Maybe salary related? They are very heavy at LB/DE and CB/S and thin at OL, WR, TE and RB I would imagine there will be some tweaking to the roster over the next few days. Foschi sucks, they need to find a TE. OL depth is terrible. They need to add 2 bodies there. I think a move could stil me made with Foschi, Moats/Coleman, Kelsay, Cary Harris and maybe even Brohm.

I think it would be great to bring him in. His mobility could fit nicely into what Chan likes to do on offense

I agree that Fitz is a better QB than Brohm right now. But I think that is mostly due to experience. I think Brohm has more skill and much more potential. Fitz is Frank Reich. Excellent backup. not a starter. Brohm might be able to develop into a starter. I see the QB situation like this. Trent is the starter. Fitz is the #2 Brohm is the #3 If Trent is hurt, Fitz finishes the game and is the starter if Trent misses 1-2 games. If Trent goes down for an extended period, Brohm is the starter.

a.) how often do teams lose 2 QBs in the same game? b.) if we were to lose 2 QBs in the same game to injury, would it really matter all that much who you put in as the 3rd QB?

They might still cut Brohm and just keep two active and Brohm or Brown on the PS. That way they can keep depth elsewhere
