  1. I agree that Norman is bad, but he did win the Raider game....so we thank him for that!
  2. This is how I’ve always described Cam Newton as well.....he sulks around like a five year old when things aren’t going well, but has no problem dancing around like a fool screaming “look at me” when he scores a meaningless TD.
  3. From all accounts, he’s an excellent locker room guy and mentor...I think that’s what keeps him on the roster.
  4. Pretty sure Peyton Manning brought “his” offense to Denver. It’s surprising to me that Brady didn’t get to bring “his” offense to Tampa. I feel that Josh is close to being a master of “his” offense no matter who the OC is.
  5. Winters position for the rest of the year:
  6. I saw Daboll hand these to Josh right before the game:
  7. Instead of 7-11, its 17 to 11 for 7!!
  8. Guess we know who is getting cut in the off-season to free up salary cap space.
  9. It should also be shown on your local ABC affiliate.
  10. Yeah, lets leave the fastest guy on the Raiders one on one with some nobody CB....if that's not "trying to lose", I don't know what is.
  11. Given today’s results, it’s clear the Bills must take care of business tomorrow. No room for error.
  12. They have the wrong Allen at QB if they want that to work!!
  13. Ouch.... that stings!! OK, I’ll try another one: ”I am who I am, it doesn’t matter what anyone else thinks.” This is another phrase that while true at its heart, is unfortunately misused by many people to justify their bad behaviors or lousy personalities. Instead of saying “man I was a real jerk in that situation, I need to be better.”, they think “I am who I am, if they don’t like it, that’s their problem.”
  14. I can see the positive uses of the phrase, but unfortunately, many people, especially young people, don't see the "hard work" part, they just see it as a shortcut to getting what they want. Its just my opinion, I didn't mean to upset anyone, I just think the wording of the phrase can lead to misuse.
  15. "Fake it till you make it" (or "Fake it until you make it") is an English aphorism which suggests that by imitating confidence, competence, and an optimistic mindset, a person can realize those qualities in their real life. To me, people who use this concept are saying "I don't have to learn anything or apply myself or work hard, I'll just act like I know what I'm doing to fool everyone into thinking I'm competent." I would respect someone more if they said to me at my job "I don't know everything, but I'm willing to learn and work hard to get there.", then someone who tells me "I know what I'm doing, I've got this.", then proceeds to show me that they do not "got this". I'm glad I am not someone who is in charge of hiring people....I don't know how they weed their way through all the BS in job interviews to hire the people who actually have competence, instead of those who "fake it 'til they make it!"
  16. “Fake it ‘til you make it!”
  17. Absolutely great stuff!! I had the Mike Milligan angle figured out for a while, but Fargo never disappoints!! Great final episode!!
  18. It was 4th and 27.....I think the Bills D was well aware of what was coming in this situation.
  19. Is anyone watching Big Sky, Tuesday at 10 on ABC. Two episodes in, and it’s pretty good so far, it’s got a good cast, including the actress who played Lagertha on Vikings. It’s got a bit of a Twin Peaks feel to it.
  20. Been following him since his UCF days, and I always had him pegged as a “McBeane” type of player. This story certainly reinforces that...a good WR, and a “process” guy for sure! Glad he’s a Buffalo Bill!!
  21. Gabriel Davis made the local news down here in the Orlando area for providing Thanksgiving meals to first-responders who had to work on Thanksgiving in his hometown of Sanford. Here's a link to the report: VIDEO: NFL receiver, UCF Alum Gabriel Davis provides Thanksgiving meals for Sanford first-responders (wftv.com)
