  1. The only reason I’m leaning towards not picking them this week!(In the survivor pool, still picking the Bills to win the game)
  2. Too funny....you were joking and right at the same time!! Seriously, he sounds like a good pickup to bolster the special teams unit.
  3. This is what I was afraid of....absolute worst-case scenario. I hope everyone in the path has gotten the heck out of the way....there's no surviving 20 foot storm surge....unprecedented.
  4. Wow....I tried the link, and it turns out I'm eligible...I guess because I live in a Condo-complex. $290 for the year....I think i'm gonna go for it!!
  5. There is an app on my smart TV that says “PlayStation Video”....Is that the app you’re talking about??
  6. Lots of good options....thanks for the responses, everyone!!
  7. As someone who has to go to a sports bar to see my Bills on Sundays, and knowing that is not going to be an option this year, I am looking to find ways to see as many Bills games as possible from home. I don't have DirecTV, nor do I want it, so that's out. I read in another thread where someone stated that you could use CBS All Access and a VPN to get Bills games from out of market areas. Is this possible?....and if so, I was hoping a more tech savvy person than me could explain what one would have to do to make this work? Any feedback on this would be helpful to the many Bills fans around the country who won't be able to see the Bills as easily as they did prior to Covid-19. Thanks in advance!!
  8. Both storms on track to hit Louisiana as hurricanes within a 48 hour period. This is sooooo 2020.....good luck and stay safe to everyone in the path of these storms.
  9. The wife, not the "ants"/aunts:
  10. The fact that its moving so fast will hopefully keep it from strengthening too quickly as it approaches South Florida, however once it gets into the Gulf, all bets are off due to the fact that the Gulf waters are as warm as bathwater, which is like jet-fuel for these storms. I'm cautiously optimistic that my location near the Orlando area will be spared this time, but you never know with these things. Good luck to whoever ends up being in its path.
  11. Like I said in my original post, I respect a players right to opt out before the season starts, but this guy quit on his team in the middle of the playoffs, and I can't see his teammates forgiving him or welcoming him back with open arms whatever the reason for the opt out. Imagine if the Bills were in the AFC championship game, and all of a sudden Josh Allen, Tre White, or Stephon Diggs up and decided they didn't want to play anymore because it didn't feel like a real "playoff atmosphere"......I can only imagine how this board would explode if that happened.
  12. I completely respect the idea of any player opting out of the season before it starts, but this guy basically quits on his team in the middle of the playoffs. I just can't see how his teammates or Bruins fans will ever forgive this guy for this. If you listen to the interview Rask gave after the last game, he basically said he wasn't taking it seriously and it wasn't really a playoff atmosphere and he didn't really care. A sentiment his teammates promptly shot down. I'm sure the team asked him to leave after his comments but allowed him to try to save face by letting him "opt out to be with his family". What do you guys think, and how would you react if a Bills player did this?
  13. Another year, another storm pointing itself at Florida. At least this one is a weakling compared to the storms we've had coming near or on land here in Florida over the past few years. Prior to the last 4 years, I would say the Central Florida area wasn't even in the "cone" for a storm for a good 10 years. Its getting annoying. 2+ months of the Hurricane season to go..... This is not the year to have a major hurricane hit your area(not that there ever is a good time for one!!). Covid +? Major Hurricane? = RIP Florida
  14. Sounds like the DJ’s from a morning drive-time radio show!?
  15. In case you hadn't heard, Chiefs lineman Laurent Duvernay-Tardif earned his medical degree and requested to add “M.D.” to the nameplate on his jersey. The NFL reportedly denied his request. It started with a simple tweet saying the NFL rejected his request, and buzz and reaction continued to grow.Jun 27, 2018 I remember when the above happened a couple years ago, and thought the NFL missed a real opportunity(as usual) to promote a player with a great story by allowing the MD on his nameplate. I'm sure the league regrets that decision now, as he's showing himself to be a high-character individual, worthy of recognition.
  16. The Washington Person/Woman/Man/Camera/TV’s
  17. Come on, guys.....save it for the AFC Championship!!
  18. I remember this line from the movie the 300, and I'm surprised I've never heard it used in the sports world. I think it would be a perfect slogan for an NFL defense:
  19. I’ve been watching Snowpiercer on TNT....the season finale is this Sunday, and it’s been pretty interesting thus far...definitely like the TV show more than the movie. Also, I just started watching The OA on Netflix. I’ve heard good things about it, and the first episode was intriguing for sure.
  20. Yes, but not even the hottest UK pop star, IMO.....how about Marina Diamandis... or Lauren Mayberry from CHVRCHES..... or Anne-Marie.....
