  1. I start with: LIONS and TAMER You get vowels A E I and O plus consonants L N S T M and R. Anyone have anything better that that?
  2. 25. Trent McDuffie CB Washington 57. John Metchie III WR Alabama 89. Rachaad White RB Arizona St. 130. Nick Cross S Maryland 168. Mychael Wright CB Oregon
  3. I was leaning more towards Cross, because he does have the size and athleticism you need to play the position in the NFL....the Bills have met with him, so he is a name to watch for sure.
  4. In one corner we have an undersized, short-armed safety with average speed. In the other corner we have game tape highlighting McKinley's instincts, short-area quickness, aggressive demeanor and nose for making plays on the football. He's going to give way to some of the bigger bodies he'll encounter in the NFL, but he's a natural football player with an above-average feel for timing and angles. The traits could impact his draft slotting, but McKinley has the talent to make plays as a nickel safety. Nick Cross S Maryland Cross operated as the bouncer of the Maryland defense, playing with the aggression and explosiveness to throw opponents out of the club. He is a chase player who seeks to make a statement upon impact and has impressive stopping power near the line or as an open-field tackler. He's a tight-hipped, linear mover, so flipping and flying are not his strong suit. He's capable of matching with most flavors of tight end and will be most comfortable in coverages that allow him to play with a downhill trigger. He has the temperament, size and toughness to become an eventual starter in the league. With the safeties the Bills have now, it would allow these guys a year or two to develop, and be an eventual replacement for Hyde or Poyer. I'm pretty sure the Bills have met with Cross, so don't be surprised if the Bills draft a safety in the mid rounds. What do you think??
  5. I’d like to welcome Tua’s Mom to the board!
  6. You could probably get Billy Wagner on the cheap, but Bobby Wagner...thats gonna cost you a little more....
  7. Mock drafts are more opinions than predictions. The opinions of the mock maker rarely match the opinions of the teams because the teams are working with much more information about the draft prospects and about their own particular team. To me, they are just something fun to do to pass the time between FA and the draft.
  8. I bet a lot of the bad stats from Brown came in the horrible game he had playing Left Tackle.
  9. I was going to say: The balance of power has shifted back to the NFC with this signing!!
  10. Chiefs wouldn't trade him to one of its biggest rivals....thats why they are talking to the Jets and Dolphins.....they have no respect for those teams. If traded its got to be to an NFC team.
  11. Now he can continue to not get any pressure on Mahomes twice a year!
  12. What I think of when I see that name: The Turnstile!!
  13. I was hoping the Bills would draft Kyle Phillips as a Beasly replacement, but I guess the signing of Crowder would stop the Bills from drafting a "slot" receiver.....but no doubt the Bills should still draft a "speed" receiver.
  14. Not that this is the best scenario, but if Bates does go to another team, bringing back Boettger or even Daryl Williams at that same 2.5M price to compete with a drafted rookie for the RG position could be a possibility.
  15. I think the addition of these two guys will help the Bills to be able to run the ball better once they have the lead. The offense they run to get that lead will be very similar to the offense we have seen over the last two years, IMO.
  16. Neither was I, but I also didn't want him joining any of the Bills AFC competitors. As was stated earlier: NFC get your bleep together!!
  17. Ask his father. Plus his teams always seem to play better when he is out injured.
  18. An oft-injured team chemistry cancer.....no thanks.
  19. I don’t know about you, but any Bills player who goes to the Pats is immediately placed on my s@&# list. Don’t do it, Rick!!
  20. One of my favorite Bills during the drought years.....would love to see what he could do with Josh Allen throwing him the ball, but I don’t see it happening.
  21. I posted this at the beginning of this thread a couple weeks ago....drafting a guy like Kyle Phillips is the way to go.....cheaper, younger, with the potential to be the next Cole Beasley.
  22. Given what we have seen in FA so far, I believe the Bills will be drafting 2WR, 2CB, RB, and a Punter....my future mock drafts will focus on these positions....what do you guys think??
  23. Just curious......why?? He’s on a rookie contract, and could improve with Miller mentoring him and the other young guys on the D-line.
  24. Another hole filled......good use of the money not taken by McKissic....I would rather have Howard than McKissic anyway!!
  25. If the Bills traded for him mid-season last year like I was hoping they would do, the Bills would have killed KC, and won the Super Bowl.......mistake corrected......good job, Beane!! Lets go Bills!!!!
