  1. Totally 100% agree... Reiff has almost zero value at #10 overall...Even less for The Bills because they already have a decent RT...And that's all Reiff is going to be in the NFL...I would be surprised if he went before #20 overall...
  2. Notice the States where Reiff is getting the votes? Most are FAR from NY State...NY is going for Kuechly... Kuechly would start at OLB in the Bills 4-3...Not sure which side, but whatever side Morrison was supposed to start at...
  3. Yep...Buddy said he wants a guy who is open even when he's not...Go back and look at Jeffery's tape...That's exactly the type of WR he is...DB's draped all over him, and he still comes down with the ball...Look at what he did vs. Kirkpatrick and Dennard...Jeffery is a player...He may not be the next Megatron...But he's no Hardy either...
  4. It would be nice John...But I suspect he's going to get over-Drafted somewhere in the 2nd Round...I would love to get him in the 4th though...We'll see...
  5. Jeffery has his issues...But comparing him to Hardy? I don't know...I saw an awful lot of Jeffery over these past 2 years and he strikes me as being a tougher Football player than Hardy ever imagined being...While he is angular, I don't think he's anywhere near as stiff as Hardy was...And Jeffery's hands, along with his ability to snatch the ball out of the air even when it's poorly thrown, are in the elite category...I don't think Hardy was close in that area...Just my opinion though...
  6. I think you underestimate the level of Prospect and human that is Andrew Luck... I was around for Manning/Leaf....What you are talking about is little more than rumor and innuendo...Most thought Manning was clearly the better Prospect...And certainly the more cerebral one...The truth is there may have been one or two teams, or one or two Scouts, that felt Leaf was equal to Manning...But they were in the clear minority...The Colts lost no sleep over that selection...Polian is on record about it...And the rumors were already out there about Leaf at the time...There were definite warning signs... There is no comparison between the way Teams felt about Leaf in comparison to Luck today...It's not even close...It certainly is ridiculous...To me at least it is...Think whatever you wish for yourself...It's a free world...
  7. You do know that even The Panthers refuted that rumor about Mallett right? Mallett rumor BS I'm not saying there was not doubt by some Teams about Mallett's attitude off-the-field...But I think most of that was squashed by the time the Draft came around...I think Mallett slipped mainly on the fact that he's a statue, and because he made some bad decisions late in some games...He's REAL slow on his feet, and in the NFL that is a BIG problem unless your name is Tom Brady...And look who drafted Mallett... I hear ya...I do think that if you read between the lines that may be what Lombardi was questioning when he commented on Osweiler not starting early in his College career...That's kind of how I took it, but that was after I ready the National Football Post Report so...Maybe I was just jumping to conclusions...
  8. Specifically under the "impression" part of this report...Now I'm not saying Bunting is the be-all end-all...But he is thorough... Scouting Report on Osweiler Casserly and Lombardi... NFL.com on Osweiler I just don't hear or read a lot of great stuff about the Kid...But everyone seems to think he's a good developmental prospect who is athletic with a live arm...
  9. Having to give up #71 overall takes the Trade Down option completely out of the equation for me...Which makes it an easy choice...Blackmon all the way...
  10. There's not that many Teams looking for a LT as it is...His market is not going to improve after the Draft...
  11. He's SUPER raw and inexperienced, but Osweiler has all the tools to one day be a decent NFL QB...Thing is, it's going to take a lot of work, and there are HUGE concerns about his feel for the Game...Some Scouts question not only his knowledge of Defenses and how to properly read them, but also his knowledge of his own Offense at times...He's going to be over-drafted...You can mark it down right now..Not to say that he wont be a good NFL QB one day...But he should not go higher than the 4th Round based on who he is and what he has shown thus-far...Ryan Mallett was light years ahead of Osweiler coming into the NFL and he went in the 3rd...Admittedly Osweiler is a MUCH better athlete than Mallett..But Mallett had the better arm, could read Defenses better, was more accurate, and had a master grip on the Arkansas Offense... It should be interested to see where Osweiler lands in this Draft...I saw McShay had him Top 30 or so...That is one clueless Scout!
  12. Have you ever seen Luck play? He's high rated for a reason...You know that right? A completion % over 70% for 2 College Seasons Andrew Luck...A Kid with similar athletic ability to Cam Newton...that Andrew Luck...One of the most cerebral QB's to come out of College since Peyton Manning...And comparing Luck to Ryan Leaf in any way...are you kidding me? Yes, Buffalo would be better off with Luck...Maybe not as a Rookie, thoguh I think he could step in and be as good as Fitz pretty quick...But after his rookie year, there is going to be no comparison between Luck and Fitz...Luck is destined to be a star in the NFL...He really is a once in a decade type of prospect...
  13. LOL what? You think I'm the only one?...
  14. Agreed actually... All you have to do is listen to a couple Scouts back-to-back to realize reach and value are in the eyes of the beholder...A couple days ago I heard Mayock and Lombardi say Stephon Gilmore's value was between 10-20 in the 1st Round, and that he was clearly the 2nd best CB in the Draft...Yesterday Charlie Casserly says he does not value Gilmore that high, that he's definitely not a Top 10 talent, and that Kirkpatrick is the better CB prospect of the two...So...Come Draft day, if The Bills take Gilmore at #10, Mayock and Lombardi will say great Pick...Casserly will say reach...And then we'll all see the truth when he gets on the field...
  15. My biggest concern is Fitz...And there is no close 2nd as far as I'm concerned...
  16. I don't know why I wrote "Martin" the 1st time around...Must have had Stanford LT on the mind... I meant Russell Wilson of course...
  17. Early on he did...But he was also a Rookie...By the end of the year he was making a lot of REAL nice plays...He came on big time...and believe me I was the most surprised...I gave the Kid a REAL hard time early on last year...But he won me over...
  18. Seriously? Did you just watch Pre Season Games and the Regular Season Games until he got hurt? Because by the end of the Season William may very well have been The Bills best Defender overall... That being said I think it's even more reason to Draft Gilmore...It would give The Bills a heck of a good young tandem for years and years to come...
  19. Haha! Definitely Bones!
  20. Totally 100% agree...
  21. Maybe if we Traded Down in the 1st and grabbed extra Picks...But I'm not for giving up any Picks at all, especially to Trade back into the 2nd for a QB I don't think is worthy of a 2nd round Pick...Not saying he wont go there, because he probably will...But QB's are being so overvalued at this time I just cant get on board with it...I think there is a great chance that even at 5'10" Russell Wilson will be as good an NFL QB as Cousins...Just My opinion though...
  22. Kinda doubt it...Though I really like the Kid and I may be his older brothers biggest fan... That being said I REALLY doubt The Bills go DE early...They may address further depth on the D-Line later on (maybe the 4th or later)...But the pressing needs on this Team are pretty obvious now...And I'm sure they'll be expecting the 2nd Round Pick to come in and contribute quickly...I doubt Jones would bring that to The Bills in 2012...Just my opinion though...
