Buddy said..."(Fitz) He's not going to struggle, he's not going to turn the ball over..." Really Buddy?...A 72 QB rating and 23 INT's in the past 14 Games...And you're making these promises? I seriously doubt that...Just look at last years Draft...Osweiler goes 57th Overall...The year before Ponder and Locker go Top 12...QB's FLY off the Boards, especially now that Teams don't have to pay as much when they Draft one high...The risk is less under the cap...So gambling on a QB high is MUCH easier...I'm betting, if all 8 of these Kids come out (Barkley, Wilson, Bray, Thomas, Smith, Jones, Murray, and Manuel), they will all be gone by mid-way through Day #2 of the 2013 Draft...Just my opinion...And that definitely does not mean I like all 8 either...Right now though, as of 9/15/2012, I would like Geno Smith...Even at #1 overall...

I agree we have no one to stretch the field (assuming TJ does not shine early)...But even if we did, do we have anyone that can get them the ball consistently and accurately?

I was confident on Thursday...

I like Chan...I really do... But I don't agree with his philosophy based on the talent he has... On one hand you have a journeyman QB who, despite being VERY intelligent, is very obviously limited as a passer... On the other hand you have a Top 100 NFL Player at RB who is a workhorse-type. And even the QB admits he's the heart and soul of the Team...Plus you have the #8 overall Pick a couple years ago in a RB who can take it to the house most any time he carries the ball...You have a pretty decent FB...A couple big TE's that can block...And a decent O-Line that can open up some nice holes... So of course any smart NFL HC would go with a Spread Offense and put the entire show in the hands of the QB with a career Passer rating of 74.8, and career record of 18-34 as a Starter right?...Right? Exactly...

I watch this show every week...I was absolutely shocked to see that all 3 of the "experts" (Sterling Sharpe, Brian Baldinger, and Donovan McNabb) picked KC to win outright on Sunday...I mean...All three? I follow Football, and Bills Football, as much as the next guy...Probably more...But I thought The Bills would be the obvious favorite to win this Game regardless of what happened in Week #1...Home Opener, they killed KC on the Road last year, etc...I was just really surprised...Is this Game going to sneak up and bite all of us? I was hoping for a stress free weekend...lol McNabb was also pretty tough on Fitz for double clutching on that 1st INT...He was saying that is the one thing you cannot do on that route vs the D The Jets were showing us...Basically he said on that play the Jets D will give you that route if it's on time...And every QB knows the ball has to come out on rhythm...They also talked a bit about the great job the Jets O-Line did, especially the RT blocking Mario... Anyway...Beware the Chiefs?

I'm wondering if Smith ends up being 2013's RGIII...To me he looks head over heels better than any of the other guys outside of Barkley...And Smith may very well be the better Pro Prospect...I watched his YouTube from the LSU Game last year and came out surprisingly impressed...He gets the ball out quick, and looked pretty good vs that crazy-talented LSU D...I mean...463 yds vs. that Secondary is saying something...He's plenty athletic...I think Gailey would love to have that Kid...

Exactly...And his 2nd best weapon may very well be Spiller...

Like I said in a post above...Smith is the one guy that is intriguing me the most...He's got a chance to move WAY up if he keeps improving...

If you want to wait...Wait...If we want to talk about the QB's of 2013...We're going to do it...The two can co-exist...Can they not? And it may have been the 1st Game of the year...But this Team has now lost 8 of it's last 9 Games, and 11 of it's last 14...And to say Fitz has looked poor in that span would be an understatement (His QB Rating is 72.71 over the past 14 Games...18 TD's to 23 INT's... Only 2 Games with 3 TD's and 4 Games with 3 or more INT's...How can this not be a major concern?...lol)...Plus, keep in mind there are many here who never wanted the Kingdom passed over to Fitz in the 1st place...So...The only way the talk can calm down is if Fitz can prove those of us who are most critical of his play wrong...And it's not happening...I'm a Bills Fan...Have been for over 40 years now...I want Fitz to prove me wrong...He just doesn't do it often enough...So I'm looking for the next big thing in the meantime...

Admittedly I've never been a Fitz guy...I've always felt he would make a fine Back-Up QB...A decent Starter in spots...But I don't believe he is a QB that can get you to the Playoffs...In fact I'm not even sure he can get The Bills above .500...But I certainly hope I'm wrong about that...And it is just my opinion... So after Fitz laid his Opening Day egg, I decided to take a look into the future...The 2013 Draft...I was pleased to see that there are a lot of young QB's in College that currently carry potential 1st or 2nd day Grades (I said potential...so don't give me hell...it's still early... ) should they all come out...So I figured we should get started watching these Kids (I will)...I'm pretty sure one of them is going to end up being the future at QB for The Buffalo Bills...Just have a feeling about that... Matt Barkley - USC Tyler Wilson - Arkansas Logan Thomas - Va Tech Geno Smith - West Virginia Landry Jones - Oklahoma Tyler Bray- Tennessee EJ Manuel - Florida St Aaron Murray - Georgia Thoughts? Just on the Prospects...Not on Fitz...That horse has been beat to death the last few days...

I had an amazing weekend...I was Best man in a Wedding...Stayed at an incredible Beach House on Wrightsville Beach (Wilmington NC) with the best Friends and Family a guy can ask for...Went to 2 of my Nephew's Football Practices (he plays OLB for his Middle School)...It was the most fun I've had in years...Life could not be better... But I'm still pissed off at The Bills, and I have never thought Fitz would be the answer at QB...So your theory is ridiculous...You making assumptions about Folks who are negative about this Team...Life is great...The Bills? Not so much...Not yet at least...
