  1. Not sure why you would assume Stevie would be gone after listening to Nix...He did all but promise Stevie would be back... He did not sound as excited about Bell...But his hesitation was 100% due to Bell's injuries...He did say they would like to have Bell back...But obviously they are not going to pay full market value for an oft injured LT...
  2. True...But how many WR's with that type of size and talent catching the ball have had the separation ability CJ/Moss have?...Like I said a few days ago Jeffery had a couple steps deep in the 1st Half of that Bowl Game going up against a potential 1st Round CB...He's got enough speed...Not elite speed, but enough...He does have elite size, hands and ability to use his body properly...I mean...I'd rather have Megatron too...But there's only one of those...Jeffery pretty much fits exactly what the Bills need, and will make an awesome compliment for Stevie...Just hoping he makes it to #10 Overall...
  3. Exactly...I just wrote the same thing...Sry I did not see this Post prior...
  4. Listened to the whole thing Live... Mark it down now...I'm going to go out on a limb here... The Bills will take Alshon Jeffery if he's still there at #10...He is the exact WR Nix said the Team needed...I'm surprised he did not slip and mention Jeffery by name... Now Y'all have until late April to tell me I'm wrong...
  5. Or maybe some Bills Fans are so used to the offensive line sucking they can't recognize when a Kid plays pretty well... I'm not saying D Bell is all that, and the injuries are a concern...But I don't know what to tell you...If you don't think he's even average then maybe you need to start evaluating talent based on an easier game to follow...Maybe Soccer? Tennis?
  6. Interesting...
  7. The Bills are in no position to lose talent...Even part-time talent like Bell... Losing players like Bell and Stevie is only going to push this team farther down the hole of mediocrity...
  8. At #10 I think DE/OLB may very well bring the worst value of most any position in this coming Draft with the obvious exceptions of S, TE, etc...The value of DE/OLB comes in the Mid 1st and on IMHO...I think, unlike most years, the value at #10 may very well be along the O-Line where a few VERY nice Prospects may still be available...Personally I'm hoping Alshon Jeffery falls into our laps at #10...
  9. You mean the same Fred Jackson that was 3rd the NFL in Rushing and 2nd in Yards from scrimmage when he got hurt? Good plan!
  10. Jones made the right decision...He's nowhere near ready...
  11. Just curious...Is this the first time some of y'all have heard about this stuff concerning Polian? I honestly thought everybody and their mother knew the guy could be REAL abrasive...It's kind of ancient news...
  12. Already seeing Alshon Jeffery moving into the Top 9 in Mock Drafts is not making me a happy camper this AM...
  13. He's known to be a VERY hard worker as well... For the record Jeffery declared today...
  14. The Poll probably needs to be better worded...I'm going to go out on a limb and assume, without condition, that any Bills Fan would prefer these other QB options to Fitz...But some would not be willing to do what it would take to get them...Otherwise this Poll would be a glaring example of the lack of Football knowledge around here...
  15. I usually see his name around 10-15 overall...He may go higher though...
  16. Apparently they were VERY close... I plucked this part from an ESPN article yesterday; "I used to think nobody hated losing more than I did or was more miserable after a loss. I decided it was a tie between me and Bill," Manning told (Chris) Mortensen. "And I stay in the building pretty late and he was always here working, too. Personally, my goodness, so many thoughts. He was one of the last guys to leave my wedding with Ashley (his wife). This is very, very tough."
  17. No offense...But you're over-analyzing Jeffery...I'm sure some NFL GM's will do the same so he can fall right into The Bills lap...He's a player and a freak physically...He'll break plenty of tackles, but more importantly he'll catch tough passes and he's born open because of his size and wing-span...Don't over-think it...He's really good...And better than anything the Bills have currently...He's solid off the field as well...He's a hell of a good prospect...Period... And forget about Blackmon...The Bills pick 10th and he'll be long gone by then...
  18. Well... I lived in Charlotte the past 20 years, and I too saw a ton of Jeffery at USC...DB's are fast too...But Jeffery has plenty of speed...He's been clocked at sub 4.5, but most Scouts think he's a 4.5 - 4.6 guy...Dez Bryant ran 4.55-4.65 in his Private Workout...So Jeffery figures to have enough speed to be just fine in the NFL...Plus he has tremendous size and hands...And for the record two different times in that 1st Half vs. Nebraska he had more than a step on a potential 1st Round CB who is supposed to have mid 4.4 speed... So anyway...Jeffery is fast enough...
  19. Gailey pretty much said the Defense was 100% one voice the past two years...And that voice was Edwards...Chan has already been quite honest that he is not hands on with the Defense...In fact I was a bit surprised an NFL HC would admit he was that removed from one side of the ball the way Gailey did...So...If you believe Chan...It was Edwards...
  20. Agreed...I don't think Batten or Moats is big enough or strong enough at the point of attack to play DE in a 4-3...And I don't think Carrington can hold up as a DT in a 4-3 either...Maybe on sure Passing Downs...But that's about it...He would have to slide out to DE...Which may not be a bad thing...
