  1. The new Total QB Rating is a better gauge of QB play and contribution to winning than the old QB Rating system... Here's an explanation of the Total QBR...Explaining the Total QB Rating For the record Fitz finished 18th in Total QBR...Right behind Matt Moore and in front of Kyle Orton...Fitz was 12 points out of the Top 10...
  2. I remember those comments well...Of course The Bills passed on 2 OT's that year that have gone on and started a lot of games playing pretty well for the #1 and #2 seeds in the NFC...While both Williams and Okung have pretty clearly underachieved to this point...But I digress... I wonder what Grades the Bills will have on Reiff and Martin in comparison to Williams and Okung...Or in comparison to Bulaga and Davis...While I don't think The Bills will take an OT at #10, I do wonder if they may pass on a really, really good prospect...And outside of Jeffery I'm not sure I see many prospects at #10 that I like much more than Williams...
  3. Wow! Business as usual in Oakland...New GM or not...
  4. Listening to Buddy I got the feeling that the Bills would be happy to have Bell back...But it took two seconds for Buddy to talk about Bell's injury history which tells me they are not about to pay premium LT dollars for D Bell...I also got the feeling he thinks Hairston is going to be fine at LT if that's what they decide to do...And I'm guessing some Team is going to offer Bell more than The Bills are willing to pay...If so pencil in Hairston at LT... Now...Here's where it gets interesting...There is at least an outside chance that both OT's Riley Reiff and Jonathan Martin will be available when The Bills Pick at #10 overall (I strongly prefer Martin to Reiff btw...Like anyone cares...lol)...And when Buddy says we will Draft a LT, I don't think for a second he means they will Draft one in the 1st Round...After all, they got Hairston in the 4th Round last Draft...But I wonder if the true value at #10 overall does end up being at LT?...Of course I'm assuming Luck, Kalil, Griffin (if he declares), Richardson (if...), Claiborne (if...), Blackmon, Still (I think he's the top D-Lineman and somebody is going to take him Top 9...Just a hunch), and Jeffery (I hope he slides to #10...But I doubt it will happen) will all be gone Top 8...That leaves both Reiff and Martin available at #9 Overall...So I think there is a good chance one or both will fall to #10 overall...Does Buddy pass on an OT that most Scouts feel is a sure fire Top 10 Pick? We'll see I guess... Going to be VERY interesting if Reiff and Martin are both available at #10 come April...VERY interesting...
  5. Not sure why you would assume Stevie would be gone after listening to Nix...He did all but promise Stevie would be back... He did not sound as excited about Bell...But his hesitation was 100% due to Bell's injuries...He did say they would like to have Bell back...But obviously they are not going to pay full market value for an oft injured LT...
  6. True...But how many WR's with that type of size and talent catching the ball have had the separation ability CJ/Moss have?...Like I said a few days ago Jeffery had a couple steps deep in the 1st Half of that Bowl Game going up against a potential 1st Round CB...He's got enough speed...Not elite speed, but enough...He does have elite size, hands and ability to use his body properly...I mean...I'd rather have Megatron too...But there's only one of those...Jeffery pretty much fits exactly what the Bills need, and will make an awesome compliment for Stevie...Just hoping he makes it to #10 Overall...
  7. Exactly...I just wrote the same thing...Sry I did not see this Post prior...
  8. Listened to the whole thing Live... Mark it down now...I'm going to go out on a limb here... The Bills will take Alshon Jeffery if he's still there at #10...He is the exact WR Nix said the Team needed...I'm surprised he did not slip and mention Jeffery by name... Now Y'all have until late April to tell me I'm wrong...
  9. Or maybe some Bills Fans are so used to the offensive line sucking they can't recognize when a Kid plays pretty well... I'm not saying D Bell is all that, and the injuries are a concern...But I don't know what to tell you...If you don't think he's even average then maybe you need to start evaluating talent based on an easier game to follow...Maybe Soccer? Tennis?
  10. Interesting...
  11. The Bills are in no position to lose talent...Even part-time talent like Bell... Losing players like Bell and Stevie is only going to push this team farther down the hole of mediocrity...
  12. At #10 I think DE/OLB may very well bring the worst value of most any position in this coming Draft with the obvious exceptions of S, TE, etc...The value of DE/OLB comes in the Mid 1st and on IMHO...I think, unlike most years, the value at #10 may very well be along the O-Line where a few VERY nice Prospects may still be available...Personally I'm hoping Alshon Jeffery falls into our laps at #10...
  13. You mean the same Fred Jackson that was 3rd the NFL in Rushing and 2nd in Yards from scrimmage when he got hurt? Good plan!
  14. Jones made the right decision...He's nowhere near ready...
  15. Just curious...Is this the first time some of y'all have heard about this stuff concerning Polian? I honestly thought everybody and their mother knew the guy could be REAL abrasive...It's kind of ancient news...
  16. Already seeing Alshon Jeffery moving into the Top 9 in Mock Drafts is not making me a happy camper this AM...
  17. He's known to be a VERY hard worker as well... For the record Jeffery declared today...
  18. The Poll probably needs to be better worded...I'm going to go out on a limb and assume, without condition, that any Bills Fan would prefer these other QB options to Fitz...But some would not be willing to do what it would take to get them...Otherwise this Poll would be a glaring example of the lack of Football knowledge around here...
  19. I usually see his name around 10-15 overall...He may go higher though...
  20. Apparently they were VERY close... I plucked this part from an ESPN article yesterday; "I used to think nobody hated losing more than I did or was more miserable after a loss. I decided it was a tie between me and Bill," Manning told (Chris) Mortensen. "And I stay in the building pretty late and he was always here working, too. Personally, my goodness, so many thoughts. He was one of the last guys to leave my wedding with Ashley (his wife). This is very, very tough."
