  1. Just interested in who the Board favors out of these 3 only...Thanks!
  2. I'd throw Kuechly in for Ingram...I just don't think Ingram fits an NFL 4-3 well enough...But still, I pretty much agree with you...
  3. Levitre is a LT in a pinch only...He's not an NFL regular Starting LT and he will not be OK there if he's moved...This much I promise each and every member of this board...He's not long enough, or athletic enough to be a Starting LT in the NFL...If he was long enough and athletic enough, HE WOULD BE A LT ALREADY...It's not like The Bills are loaded at LT...If Levitre was good enough, he would already be there... Now I do agree that he may very well be as good as Martin or Reiff, especially in their Rookie years...I'm not OK with taking either of them at #10 overall...But I'm not OK with DeCastro either, especially considering there are other players who should be available at #10 that will have FAR more impact (ie...Kuechly, Gilmore, Floyd)...
  4. I see what you're saying...But I don't think any of these OT's that will be available at #10 is worthy of the Pick...I think this years it's more about the players than it is the position...But I still don't see Drafting a RT-only at #10 under most circumstances...It would have to be a hell of an excellent prospect... Especially when you already have a serviceable RT that you just extended...The impact a Player like Kuechly, Gilmore, or Floyd would have on this Team, right now, would dwarf that of another RT who may or may not be better than Pears when it's all said and done...
  5. ^^^ What he said...
  6. The Bills just extended Pears and they love him...He's entrenched at RT...I agree Hairston will be the Starter if Bell is not re-signed...But to the original point, you just don't take an OT at #10 if all you think he's going to be is a RT...And honestly the best I've heard about Reiff, even from those who love the Kid, is it's going to take a couple years minimum (if ever) for him to become an NFL LT...And if that's the case you pass at #10 and move on... I totally agree with the CB or LB at #10...I've REALLY warmed up to the idea of Kuechly at #10...It's tough to find anything negative about the Kid, and Mayock loves him...Not sure The Bills could go wrong with Kuechly or Gilmore...I do think both would have immediate impact on this Defense...Heck I wish we could get both of them...
  7. My guess is he wants more than you think, and maybe it's an injury situation as well...
  8. How do you figure Reiff fills a need if he's not a LT? Mayock is right with everyone else basically...And everything I read about Reiff is Scouts doubt he's an NFL LT...And The Bills DO NOT need another RT... I don't see Martin or Reiff going with the #10 overall pick...There is simply little value there with either...In fact, I could see Martin slide all the way into round #2...Reiff likely goes around 15-20... At this point I'm guessing it's Kuechly if he's there, and Gilmore as the dark-horse...Both would be HUGE boosts to this Defense...I think they wait till the 2nd or 3rd for a WR or OT...Then fill out whatever they don't get in the 1st with one of the 4th Round Picks...
  9. Interesting! Mayock definitely does not seem to think there will be an OT worthy of #10 Overall (outside of Kalil of course)...He said at #10 on Offense it should be Floyd, and on Defense Luke Kuechly (said he can play all 3 LB Positions and play them well), or Stephon Gilmore the CB for South Carolina who he is REAL high on!!!
  10. Exactly...That's all I'm saying...In this situation go head to head as the 1st tiebreaker, if the Teams split go to Divisional finish (that tie-breaker take precedence), then go to SoS after that...It's really not that hard...And it's fair...
  11. Right, leave it how it is because it makes sense... Seriously? 2 Teams in the same Division who played twice...Team #1 beats Team #2 twice by a WIDE margin of points. Team #1 finishes 3rd in the Division by tie-breaker, Team #2 comes in 4th...Team #1 of course picks before team #2...It's logical... Look, I'm not asking to completely change the tie-breaker...But the 1st tie-breaker should be head-to-head, then Division FOR SURE, and maybe even Conference standings...Then go to strength of schedule...Not like it's rocket science for God's sake...A computer figures it out in a nanosecond... I'm sure a simpleton would prefer that to what is logical and correct...
  12. Williams did his suspension the last 4 Games of 2011... Link
  13. The injuries have killed D. Bell's Market value...As well they should...He's made only 65% of his starts in 3 years, and the injuries have hurt his overall performance at times...No team is going to throw Starting LT money at Bell...At least not guaranteed Starting LT money...He truly would be wise to return to Buffalo and resume his career in a familiar Offense, at a familiar position...He's only going to be 28 years old in May...He has time to build his value still...He just HAS to stay healthier... I'm only guessing...But maybe they would cut Brown?
  14. You definitely don't remember it correctly...In fact Freddie was asked the hold out question on 2/9/2012 by Schopp...And even though he did not say 100% that he would not hold-out he basically said he's a Football player and he's planning on showing up and playing Football...He said he hoped it would never even get to that point and that he knew The Bills had a bunch of things to get to before his situation...Now he may change his mind...But it sounded to me like he currently has no hold-out plans...
  15. I don't think this should be so easily brushed off as it's just Strength Of Schedule...Clearly this is a stupid way to figure Draft order...Same Division, twice beaten, finished in last, and they STILL pick in front of The Bills? Is there not a better, MORE LOGICAL way to do this?
  16. Considering The Bills terrible Defense had their 2nd best Game of the 2011 Season vs. Tebow, I'd say most Bills Fans are not too scared of "TD Jebus..."
  17. 1st choice - Luck by a bit over RGIII... Real World - Floyd by a nose over Keuechly...I think Luck, RGIII, Kalil, Blackmon, Claiborne, Richardson, Poe, and Tannehill will all go before the Bills Pick...Who the 9th prospect will be is a mystery to me right now (maybe Coples if a Team gets desperate for a DE, Reiff if someone wants an OT)...I don't think any of the OT's after Kalil is worthy of #10 overall...I definitely don't want The Bills to Draft an interior O-Lineman, so DeCastro is out...So I think it comes down to Floyd or Keuechly...I go with Floyd because he's more likely to provide an impact as a Rookie...And it's a REAL big need for The Bills...
  18. I just don't see it...The Bills are a solid 4 deep (Wood, Levitre, Rinehart, Urbik) from Guard to Guard, plus they are developing Jasper who now has a full year under him and a TON of athletic ability... Too many other needs...Sometimes you have to leave well enough alone and move on to areas you have little to no Depth...If I was Buddy I would not take an interior O-Lineman early whatsoever...A back-up C later on is a possibility though...
  19. Totally agree... I think Bell is finding out that NFL Teams have tape on him...They've watched the tape...And it's not just as easy as saying "I'm an NFL LT" in order to get paid the big bucks...You have to be able to stay healthy and play with a TON of consistency...If he knew what was good for his career he would re-sign for a year with The Bills, and hope he does not get hurt again...A 15-16 game Season as a Starter at LT would do wonders for his contract expectations...
  20. Exactly...Stevie's Game is awful good at the NFL level now...Wonder how many yards Floyd would have vs. Revis? Nothing against Floyd...He'll be a different style of NFL WR than Stevie is anyway...But it's going to take a while before Floyd is in Stevie's league...Stevie has figured out how to get open consistently...And that is REAL hard in the NFL...
  21. I don't see Martin to The Bills unless he lasts till the 2nd Round...He's a Project...He's definitely not ready to start at LT in the NFL...I think he will be in time...But not yet...Thus, not at #10...
  22. Mike Mayock absolutely loves Rieff...But even Mayock questions whether or not he'll be an NFL LT, especially as a Rookie...And to me at least, if you have doubts whether or not an OT can play LT, you don't take him at #10 Overall...For the record Mayock believes Rieff should go somewhere around #20 overall...
  23. Agreed... But it's good to dream every now and again...
  24. I think Floyd is the odds on favorite to go to The Bills at #10 right now...I don't think any of the OT's after Kalil is worthy of #10 overall...Buddy has already been pretty clear he thinks the Bills are good from Guard to Guard (Levitre, Wood, Rinehart, Urbik), so I think DeCastro is out...The Bills need one more CB, but #10 is too high for Kirkpatrick...And even though there are a few DT's who will likely be worthy of #10 overall, the Bills have Depth there (Williams, Dareus, Carrington, Troupe, Heard, etc)...So it seems to me, IF The Bills stay at #10, it's coming down to the LB Kuechly or the WR Floyd...If The Bills think either Kuechly or Shep can move to OLB in the new 4-3, then maybe it's the LB...But I think WR is the bigger need and Floyd is a heck of a good Prospect...He's big, tough, a willing blocker...He's got huge upside, and he has taken steps to address the off-field stuff... So anyway...Right now I'm leaning towards Floyd being a Buffalo Bills WR in 2012...But we've still got a Month to go...
  25. I'm just ecstatic I don't see Ronnell Lewis on this one...
