Exactly...It was going to happen...With Ford starting at RG, Long and Feliciano both being swing OG/C's, there's just no room...It was really that simple... Not that anyone asked, but I really like the move...It's honestly something for nothing...Not that Teller is nothing...Not at all...But he was getting squeezed out by the numbers regardless...Getting a 5th and 6th for a guy who was gone anyway is good Roster Management IMHO...?

Agreed.. That was a bold call by Alpha...? I think the main thing now is the surge by Duke, and the fact that the Bills don't want to cut McKenzie... Sure as heck seems like something is up here... The only other thing I can think of was maybe the family is salty about the Bills bringing in John Brown and his seemingly immediate push to #1...It does not have to mean Zay is gone...But again...Seems like there is something going on here...?

It's a given that the football atmosphere is better in Buffalo...I've lived in both places (WNY and Charlotte)...Been to both Stadiums multiple times...Believe me I know... But I'm not certain at all that really matters to Clowney...And where you live and play can trump atmosphere for any individual...Especially when you have the freedom to control your own destiny...?

You pretty much summed up my opinion on this whole thing... I always have the fact that Clowney grew up 20 mins south of Charlotte in the back of my mind as well...As far as I know his family is still there...He can say whatever...But what happens if he simply wants to play at home after next year? My feeling is you can't give up too much to get him because the odds are, at best, 50/50 he's going to consider staying long term...The guy grew up in SC, played College football in SC, and has been a Pro in Texas...Sure I'd rather live in Buffalo...But would Clowney? I don't know...I kinda doubt it...?

Just a pure hypothetical...I have no idea of anything that is going on... Just for fun...I was thinking... Let say the Bills offer Shady, Zay and a mid round pick...Maybe they even throw in Mike Love.. The Texans counter with Shady, Foster, and a mid round pick... Am I the only one that winces at the thought of giving up Foster?...Because if I'm the Texans...that's the Bills WR I want... I don't know...maybe it's just me...?

Right...I think this Organization is at the point they can sell just about anyone...Especially if they win (of course)...It would be a gamble...The Bills would be betting on themselves big time...No matter what it would be SO interesting to watch... The big question here is what reports have the Bills got from Gaine about Clowney? Is he a process guy? I don't think...especially after what Beane said about who you pay on Embedded...that the Bills do this without knowing 100% Clowney can be a process guy and willing to be completely open to re-signing next year if everything goes to plan...?

Right... Well...The options there are not wonderful...Gonna have to sell him on Buffalo big time and re-sign him during the grace period because the 2nd tag is 120% this years Franchise tag...I doubt that will work, and otherwise he's 100% free to walk if that's what he want to do...So it's tricky...Thus the reason many feel he can be had at a bargain price at this point...I'm guessing the only way Houston gets market value for him is a re-sign clause on the conditional pick...?
