  1. Looking at the big picture, it's really a beautiful thing. Culture needs a big-time change: get rid of management, coaching, and players who only know how to lose. Huge wake-up call to those remaining that they damn well better step up & get with the program. Keep those who can be salvaged and remove the rest, getting value while you still can. Onward and upward!
  2. Glad they dumped Whaley and glad the new regime isn't wasting any time cleaning up all his many mistakes. Preston Brown, Seantrel Henderson, John Miller, Nick O'Leary, and Dez Lewis... the Fab 5. The only players left on the team from his 1st 3 years as GM, what a friggin' disaster. Not too impressed with his 2016 class either, but hoping for some surprises. Culture change is GREAT and desperately needed! Onward and upward!
  3. Pegs must be real pleased with Russ these days.
  4. Yep. No doubt at all now that Russ Brandon isn't involved in the football operations anymore.
  5. Good post. It would've been great if Sammy stayed healthy and lit things up here, but that just didn't happen. Oh well...
  6. No, should've kept Whaley, all he needed was more time.
  7. Obviously, it all depends on if Sammy stays healthy, lights it up in LA, and proves to be worthy of big $. If he's beat up again, the Bills are better off with a high #2 pick. Mulligan year IMO anyways, I'm not expecting playoffs.
  8. I'll give him a chance, but didn't we just get rid of an EJ?
  9. Way too early to call these moves one way or another until we see how Sammy turns out... but I do believe in draining the swamp, and if nothing else, I will salute McD and Beene for having big balls in cleaning up the big mess that Whaley made. I'm more upset with burning 2 #1's for Sammy than letting him go for a #2. I'll miss his potential, but I'll only miss him if he actually pans out. As for Darby, meh.
  10. ^^^^ A complete disaster of a GM.
  11. Exactly. Russ Brandon loved him some Sammy too, I wonder how he's doing today.
  12. Nice post, pretty much says it all. Onward and upward!
  13. Two more Whaley gems gone.
  14. Doesn't look high motor or lunch pailer to me.
  15. I think the Golden Age of the NFL started well before 1989, but I think it ended after the 1992 season. Started going to hell with full-blown free agency.
  16. Also, show how many QB's 6'6" and taller have made it in the NFL. Flacco had one great post-season & that's about it.
  17. I think Sammy will be the #1 target... but if you've got 1 play in the Red Zone to win a game, I'd be looking for Anquan.
  18. No surprise at all, just say NO to Lurch QB's.
  19. He feels betrayed by the NFL.
  20. He might be a Raiders fan too now that EJ's there. It's all good.
  21. Cause I'd like to see it, he's not the sharpest knife in the drawer. Oh yeah, either Bran or Theon can be killed off anytime please.
  22. You know, I always wanted to start a thread about Favorite Recreational Drugs because I think it would be far more interesting and entertaining than any other Favorite threads, but I figured it wouldn't last very long. These days, zero. Way back in the day at one time, I made more money than I spent.
