  1. Wasn’t Pegs at the combine to check out the QBs? I don’t think he would be too pleased, not at all.
  2. Just imagine if they trade for #2 well before the draft, and don’t tip their hand at all... and the Browns take Barkley at #1. It will be sheer insanity waiting for that pick to be announced.
  3. If they were at #2 and took Baker, I would be very happy because I do trust the process... so long as Rosen doesn’t go to Miami.
  4. Agreed. That’s why you have to go to at least #2.
  5. I think if you want to move to the top, it’s best to do it early before someone else beats you to it. Maybe you throw in an extra pick or so to sweeten the move... then so be it. If you’d like to move up lower than that depending on how the draft is going, then you can wait.
  6. Rams trade (Goff) 4/14/16 Eagles trade (Wentz) 4/21/16 Draft Day 4/28/16
  7. Sorry, I don't have 6. 1. Rosen T2. Darnold T2. Mayfield
  8. I don't think Gettleman will take less from Beane, but I do think he'll give him a chance to beat the best offer. Good thing we have all those extra day 2 draft picks to play with.
  9. Exactly.
  10. No point in possibly settling for the 3rd best. #2 is calling the Bills name, "Come get me, come get me..."
  11. "Yeah, but.... SAMMY!!!"
  12. "Meh... he's OK, I guess."
  13. The first 2 years were failures, the last year was a success. 33% success rate isn’t very good at all, so no.
  14. Maybe he was just trolling Fred Goldman.
  15. No, OJ = must-see TV.
  16. Plenty of extra Day-2 picks now to trade for #23. Let;s see what #21, #22, and #23 gets you in a trade-up.
  17. Cheap caretaker QB who would be more than happy and smart enough to help tutor the Chosen One.
  18. Cool, if it works they still have extra picks left to trade up from #4 to #2.
  19. Need to go higher than #5 for Rosen. Better safe than sorry.
  20. Yep. Our #1 this year and all the extra draft picks we picked up are reserved for the trade-up, the only question is how much more will be added. Posters can opine all they want about who they will take at #21, #22, #56, and now #65, but I choose not to pay them any attention at all. Dare to be great, MBeane!
  21. Leonard Johnson Kyle Williams Gaines yes, but it doesn't look likely. Maybe a couple others from Cadet, Humber, Matthews, Tate, Thompson.
  22. Rosen. I hope it’s the home opener, that will be glorious!
  23. Not only is trading up the right thing to do... but after all these YEARS of mediocrity at QB, I think we deserve a lot better there. Watching football is just more fun when you have a real QB. Dare to be great, McBeane!
  24. I much prefer Rosen, but as long as he's out of the AFC and especially far far away from Miami, I would be more than happy on draft day with any of those 3. There may be a new point system out, but I like the way that one looks.
  25. Oops, I was really looking at this: #21 / #22 / #53 / #56 / #65 = 2,555 points #2 = 2,600 points That's why I'm counting our 2018 2nd-rounder and Sammy Decoy in initial assets spent.
