  1. The first year of a new regime is not the time to be worrying about compensatory picks.
  2. As always, the safest move is to just say NO to burning high draft picks on anyone from Penn State.
  3. It’s not hate, it’s tough love.
  4. So many good ones. I always liked the one at the end of Commando, that guy really needed an ass-kicking.
  5. To me, they can do whatever they want to once QB has been seriously addressed, whether it's Cousins, moving up, or even at #21.
  6. Agreed. I also hope that if it's apparent that the chosen one isn't going to make it after 2+ years, the usual suspects aren't crying that he just needs more time.
  7. They just broke the 17-year drought though. Now as you said obviously anything can happen, but I think for this year and this year only, there would just be too much bad karma letting Shady go. It's not like Fred (washed-up) or Bruce/Thurman/Andre (need cap space) either. They already may be losing KW as it is.
  8. Big difference though. Shady is beloved by the entire fanbase, while Sammy was not. I don't know if Pegs would sign off on trading him.
  9. I was not impressed with what I saw from Peterman, but I’m not ready to throw him out the door yet. I guess you could say incomplete, but it’s more about that he needs to look a lot better this year.
  10. To me, generally speaking: 1st year = mulligan. 2nd year, I expect to see significant progress. If I see regression, he is on a very, very short leash. 3rd year = last chance to show something. It makes absolutely no sense to wait any longer than this, hoping that sooner or later he’ll pan out. A complete disaster like London 2015 is grounds for immediate dismissal. I think this is more than fair.
  11. I won’t scream if they draft him either I will scream though if it’s obvious he sucks and they don’t remove him in a timely manner.
  12. Caution, drugs.
  13. Jennifer Aniston in a tight sweater on a cold day... now that's what I like!
  14. Same show, definitive version of Bye Bye Johnny. Taylor is doing great things during the 1st and 3rd verses, but Keith is just tremendous throughout, especially his solo from 2:08 to 2:47. The greatest rock and roll band in the world, at the height of their power.
  15. Let's see... Bobby Chandler was a 7th-round pick, I would have to take him over Stevie. Also, Roland Hooks was a 10th-rounder, he at least deserves a mention. Charles Romes was an 11th rounder, I like him more than Schulz. All MO.
  16. Yep, Glenn may get dumped. He sure as hell isn't a Jason Peters though, thanks Russ.
  17. Just an excuse to crank tunes during the games instead of listening to this clown.
  18. Darnold looks like a cross between Eric Wood and Jethro Bodine. If he ends up sucking, that would be very, very annoying to me. Rosen please.
  19. Dare to be great, McBeane, and make this happen please.
  20. Urlacher = roids, easy NO to the HOF, let alone 1st ballot. Another huge error in judgment by the voters.
  21. Honestly, I will be disappointed if they don’t at least attempt to trade up for a QB with all the extra picks they acquired. Right now, the extra picks are “house money” to me. You can trade 2 #1’s and a #2 and still have a nice all-around draft with your QB in the 1st round and 2 day-2 picks in the 2nd and 3rd. Add Glenn if you need more draft capital, and even throw in one of next year’s high picks if you must.
  22. If they needed a Rooney rule interview, it would’ve been easier and cleaner to just bring Whaley in.
  23. Beane should tell them to feel free to interview Brandon and Overdorf.
