  1. My thoughts are that I’d rather start Keenan Allen than Cole Beasley.
  2. He doesn’t have to be a HOF player, the next Travis Kielce will suffice. But if the Bills burn the #9 pick on a high-motor lunch-pail JAG, the thrashing he will get in here will make Tyrod Taylor look beloved in comparison. It is what it is.
  3. Oh, I will trust the process no matter what for now, and I will always give every Bills player at least 1 year to succeed. You never saw me blasting Peterman. All I am saying is that there is some cheap entertainment to be had in the event he is JAG.
  4. No doubt the on-line lives of the high motor lunch pail fans in here will be miserable if we take him at 9 & he sucks.
  5. You either trade up earlier for someone a lot better or you trade down by hook or by crook before you burn the #9 pick on friggin’ Hock. God-awful value for a top-10 pick otherwise.
  6. No Hock at #9, love it.
  7. It would be hilarious in here if Beane drafted Fant with Hock still on the board, especially if he traded up for him.
  8. Field. Don’t want Fant before Day 2, don’t want a RB before day 3, don’t want Hock.
  9. The People’s Choice, Devin White.
  10. Imagine if Gil Perreault went to the Canadiens instead of the Sabres. He’d have won a few Stanley Cups and might even be considered one of THE all-time greats in hockey. But he didn’t. It is what it is. Playing what-if is always fun, but the bottom line reality is what counts.
  11. Not for me, in again JMO. Brady and Joe are definitely at the top of my list, they got the job done many times.... and not just along for the ride, their teams won in good part because of them. Flacco only had one glorious year, as did Steve Young, neither was money otherwise. Eli had 2 great years, again not so much otherwise... though I would still rather have him in his prime in a big game than his chump brother. Marino was another great regular season QB who didn’t perform well in the playoffs, not at all. Of course I’m biased towards Jimbo, but although he never got a ring, he played great in many big games. Finally, Terry Bradshaw is always brought up as an argument, he has 4 rings, is he one of the greatest too? No, I don’t think so, the biggest thing he had going for him is that he did not make critical mistakes like so many of the usual GOAT candidates did that would’ve cost great Steelers teams championships. For that, he gets much respect from me, but he’s not at the top.
  12. My criteria is about consistently producing wins in the biggest games. That automatically disqualifies Peyton Gump (Big Game Chump). Rodgers has had some entertaining and impressive wins in the playoffs, but still falls far short of the GOAT’s. All JMO, of course.
  13. Exactly. Rodgers is not even close to being in the conversation.
  14. Yeah, it’s way too early to say he’s top 5, but he’s light years better than the blithering idiot he replaced.
  15. Elvis dated Viva Las Vegas-era Ann-Margret. /thread

  17. They needed a genius like Doug Whaley running things, but Vince McMahon beat them to him.
  18. Just say NO to Hock and Isabella.
  19. Probably Proehl yes, Ray Ray no, Brandon Reilly maybe.
  20. My heart bleeds for them.
