  1. Imagine if Gil Perreault went to the Canadiens instead of the Sabres. He’d have won a few Stanley Cups and might even be considered one of THE all-time greats in hockey. But he didn’t. It is what it is. Playing what-if is always fun, but the bottom line reality is what counts.
  2. Not for me, in again JMO. Brady and Joe are definitely at the top of my list, they got the job done many times.... and not just along for the ride, their teams won in good part because of them. Flacco only had one glorious year, as did Steve Young, neither was money otherwise. Eli had 2 great years, again not so much otherwise... though I would still rather have him in his prime in a big game than his chump brother. Marino was another great regular season QB who didn’t perform well in the playoffs, not at all. Of course I’m biased towards Jimbo, but although he never got a ring, he played great in many big games. Finally, Terry Bradshaw is always brought up as an argument, he has 4 rings, is he one of the greatest too? No, I don’t think so, the biggest thing he had going for him is that he did not make critical mistakes like so many of the usual GOAT candidates did that would’ve cost great Steelers teams championships. For that, he gets much respect from me, but he’s not at the top.
  3. My criteria is about consistently producing wins in the biggest games. That automatically disqualifies Peyton Gump (Big Game Chump). Rodgers has had some entertaining and impressive wins in the playoffs, but still falls far short of the GOAT’s. All JMO, of course.
  4. Exactly. Rodgers is not even close to being in the conversation.
  5. Yeah, it’s way too early to say he’s top 5, but he’s light years better than the blithering idiot he replaced.
  6. Elvis dated Viva Las Vegas-era Ann-Margret. /thread

  8. They needed a genius like Doug Whaley running things, but Vince McMahon beat them to him.
  9. Just say NO to Hock and Isabella.
  10. Probably Proehl yes, Ray Ray no, Brandon Reilly maybe.
  11. My heart bleeds for them.
  12. That’s why Sanders is near the top of my most exciting RBs to watch list, but not my best ever list.
  13. Far worse, Whaley was a 7-year failure in Buffalo who set back the Bills for at least 2 years after he was fired. I hope he never gets a job in the NFL again and ends up working for another clown like Ralph and Russ.. say Vince McMahon.
  14. I didn’t see your thread, but this one is just some good clean fun laughing at 2 big chumps, that’s all.
  15. After thinking about it for awhile, I would say 1972-1976 OJ was the best ever, but his other years in the league were not great at all. So I will say Jim Brown.
  16. If you can only pull crap seats when they go on sale, keep checking a week or so before the show for a ticket drop. Comp tickets that are held back get put on sale, plus new seats on the floor can get created once the footprint of the stage is established. Last year, this also worked for me. I bought crap seats at the Capitol One Arena in DC in the upper levels & felt a little vertigo because it was so steep up there. I went to the ticket office inside before the show during the opening act to see if I could trade up for a price. They wouldn’t do that, but they had great seats that were designated as premium VIP seats going for a fraction of the TM price... I guess better to get something for them than nothing. I bought them & just ate the cost of the cheap seats.
  17. Lovely? No. Fugly? Yep.
  18. You don't burn the 9th overall pick in the draft on this: The pictures don't lie.
  19. Nothing before Day 3 please.
  20. You don’t see LVE on the Bills, do you?
  21. Looks like I have to break out the rosary again. Holy Mary, Mother of God, please no Hock at #9.
  22. Love Jordan Poyer, but I'm not at the point yet where I look forward to ex-Browns coming here, sorry.
