  1. Spider-Man Far From Home was a blast, loved it. Much needed after the super-serious Endgame. Best Marvel 1st end-credit ever, everyone was just screaming. Midsommar was just the absolute slowest of slow burns. Pretty wild WTF movie, but it'd be hard to ever sit thru that again. Just biding time until OUATIH, QT and Charlie FTW.
  2. Lee Iacocca surprised me the other day. RIP Arte, loved Laugh-In when I was a little kid.
  3. No place is more dangerous than the space between Fred Goldman and a TV camera.
  4. 3 of my favs:
  5. Ralph would be in 2 Halls.
  6. I've read on this board that EJ had better stats his rookie year than Josh Allen.
  7. This article proves yet again that, when it comes to the NFL, stats are for losers.
  8. Happy trails Bob Ley, but sorry, never really a fan. He was just OK.
  9. If you really want to learn, here’s a good place to start. http://tinyurl.com/y5ujy9pw
  10. “Stats are for losers.” - Bill Belichick
  11. No, bottom line results are what matter, they made the playoffs, and after 17 years of failure, that’s not overrated at all. Anything else you might add concerning that achievement is just spin.
  12. Sure, during and after 2020 if no big improvement. Three straight years with no playoffs > breaking the drought.
  13. Cook played during the SB-era. I would think a true student of the history of the game would’ve at least heard of him, JMO. Chris Brown is irrelevant though, so it really doesn’t matter one way or the other, again JMO.
  14. Looks like in this case, the guy is guilty.
  15. Talking Heads came to me first, but Roxy Music with Eno in the band is the one.
  16. And if they hadn't determined he was a loser, that's what might have happened.
  17. Chris Hogan did a lot more to help his team actually get a ring, and I don't miss him either.
  18. No, I’m specifically describing the ones who miss anyone from or anything about the 2001-2016 teams: any of the teams who could’ve, would’ve, and should’ve made the playoffs, but DIDN’T. Their beloved chumps couldn’t get the job done, yet they slam McBeane, who couldn’t have, wouldn’t have, and shouldn’t have made the playoffs but DID.
  19. Some people just naturally gravitate to losers.
  20. Please tell me Don Shula / Dan Marino were not ranked higher.
  21. A proven failure like Doug Whaley got 4 years. Hard to imagine McD or Beane getting any less than that from Pegs, especially after breaking the drought in their first year... something truly heinous would have to happen. As for extension, he’s only starting year 3 of a 5 year contract, too early to do anything unless maybe an AFC East title & 1-2 playoff wins. SB win, then absolutely.
  22. Cool, let’s trade him for a Day 3 draft pick.
