May Movies: Aladdin, Godzilla, John Wick & Rocketman
Rico replied to Mark Vader's topic in Off the Wall Archives
Agreed, if you don't count Bumblebee as a Transformers movie, cause I really liked Hailee Steinfeld in that. -

Did you know EJ had better stats his rookie year than Josh Allen? -

I just saw Godzilla, enjoyed it, Ghidorah was definitely bad-ass. Best part is that whoever wrote it is obviously a big Yankees fan, -
Who goes up on the Buffalo Bills “Wall of Shame”

That would take up a lot of space, so I'd go with only Brain Dead Drew. -

POLL: Is Jordan Poyer taking the off-season seriously enough?

I think TMZ should spend more time on something worthwhile like releasing the Tyreek Hill tapes. -
NFL.com ranks each teams greatest "Franchise QB"

Looks like a special constraint inserted just to avoid humiliating the Gumpster. -
Cable TV Versus Everything Else

Yeah, looks like it changed. I already had premium Spotify and Hulu was a free add-on, still the case for me. -

That's one way to look at it. If you're talking about 'true franchise QB", I'm taking an indisputable class act and great leader in Bart Starr over two total POS. -

If you really want to get minimal and enjoy streaming music, you can now get Hulu free with a premium Spotify membership for $10 a month. -

I'd also take Bart Starr in a big game over Favre and definitely over Rodgers. -

I thought it was a great big POS myself. I'm not an Elton John fan though, especially as a person, , but I do like most of his hits. When the end credits rolled and I saw he was executive producer, I said "yep."... very self-indulgent. Bohemian Rhapsody was better, and off the top of my head in this 'genre', The Doors blew both of them away. -

Peyton Gump will have to take a seat to Johnny U, and I don't think he's beating Elway either. -
Who Should Be Next On The Wall Of Fame?
Rico replied to BillyWhiteShows's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Too bad they didn’t have next-gen stats when Schobel was playing, I would have liked to seen how many yards he ran around LT without getting close to the QB. -

Butch Byrd. Absolutely no one from the 21st century teams should be considered before him. -

My Bloody Valentine "Loveless" is my go-to album when I just have to decompress and zone everything out. Works like a charm. -
I remember listening to radio in my car, back in the day before Spotify and my smart phone. I even remember 8-track tapes.

I’ve got it on BD cause the price was right and I’m a bit of a completist, but Interiors was a long-time-ago one-and-done for me zzzzzzzz. Thanks, good lunch-time reading. This is my favorite part, QFT: “The Petty shows seemed particularly pointless; why did Bob Dylan need a stringy-haired sycophant onstage with him?” -
Who is Your Favorite New Player to This Point ?

Ed Oliver and John Brown. I like impact players. -

He's always on tour, so there were plenty of opportunities, especially where I'm at in Baltimore with DC/Philly/AC/NYC close, plus he played some wild venues from minor-league baseball stadiums to small clubs to an outdoor tiki bar in Delaware (the late, great Kahunaville) AND his tickets used to be cheap. -
“There’s no way to measure his greatness or magnitude as a person or as a player. I don’t think any eulogizing will do him justice. He was that great, much more than a superb musician, with an uncanny ear and dexterity. He’s the very spirit personified of whatever is Muddy River country at its core and screams up into the spheres. He really had no equal. To me he wasn’t only a musician and friend, he was more like a big brother who taught and showed me more than he’ll ever know. There’s a lot of spaces and advances between The Carter Family, Buddy Holly and, say, Ornette Coleman—a lot of universes, but he filled them all without being a member of any school. His playing was moody, awesome, sophisticated, hypnotic and subtle. There’s no way to convey the loss. It just digs down really deep.” Dylan on Garcia, the day he passed.

I believe I've seen him 20x, second only to the Stones... last time was over 10 years ago. His shows are definitely hit-or-miss, but catch him on the right night & your jaw will hit the floor, at least that used to be the case for me. -
Calling it now: Zay Jones will not be on the week 1 roster.
Rico replied to Alphadawg7's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Calling it now: when running a 3 WR offense, the best 3 WR's are going to be on the field the most... and they will be Robert Foster, John Brown, and Zay Jones.
