My thought, depending on how the games end this weekend, that if it turns out the Bills or Bengals could get the 1 seed if the game was completed, give them the choice to play or take the seed they have at the conclusion of the week 18 games.

Best scenario, the game is played, in Cincy. Right before the game resumes, the stadium announcer says, "Please turn your attention to the jumbotron for a special message". Screen cuts to Damar, awake and speaking to the camera "Thanks for all the love and support, etc..." A huge roar is heard all over America. Lots of onions being cut.

Well, seeing as how the Bills beat everyone else in that division (Steelers, Ravens, Browns), they should just award the Bills the win also, making it a clean sweep of the North.

Right now the ball is in the Bills hands. They are going to be the ones to decide if the game gets played.

It was the only logical thing to do. If the NFL forced them to play (not sure how they could do that) fans and players would be outraged. If the Bills said we are not playing, and will forfeit, giving the Bengals the win, and the Bengals accepted the win, fans and players would be outraged. The only solution was the one they got, both teams agree to stop the game then, and decide sometime later, probably in a few days, what to do. Tonight was not the time to decide how to finish the game, there would be no moral/ethical victory for anyone.

I'd have them play all three division opponents in the first 5 weeks of the season, then again, the last three weeks of the season. It seems every year there are multiple teams that play a division opponent one week, someone else the next week, then the same division opponent again.

I probably could have gone, I'm working in the Cincy area this week, so if I had wanted, I could have drove there today for the game and started work Tuesday instead of Wednesday.
