  1. I’ll allow it, but only the original, not 94 or 99.
  2. Going to see Peter Frampton tonight and it got me thinking, what live albums of artists/bands are classics? Anyone can make a live album, but which ones are considered ones you must listen to at least once, or even own. This is open to all eras/genre, but I'm going to start with some older stuff... Peter Frampton - Frampton Comes Alive Neil Diamond - Hot August Night Johnny Cash - At Folsom Prison Here's a link if you want to get some ideas... https://www.rollingstone.com/music/music-lists/50-greatest-live-albums-of-all-time-173246/james-brown-live-at-the-apollo-1963-159575/
  3. American side or Canadian? I was looking at AirBnB for a weekend with all my brothers in laws and there were a lot of nice houses available on the Canadian side, but we don’t want to deal with having to cross the border multiple times over a weekend.
  4. Story time - Years ago, the company I worked for did a retreat for all employees and spouses, to the Thousand Islands/Alexandria Bay. I and several other 20-somethings started bar hopping at noon. I stuck with Blue Light. About 10pm that night, after drinking all afternoon/evening (not pushing myself because I knew it would be a long day, but I always had something in my hand) the open bar became a cash bar. In our foresight, we stocked up our table before the switch. So when the table ran out of light beers, I switched to regular (like Bud or something). That first non-light beer hit me hard. I was definitely done for the evening. Not sure how I would have been if I had not done light beers all day. My now wife and I were down in NYC a few years ago around Christmas and ducked into a hotel bar to warm up. A waitress immediately comes over with a drink menu. We were going to buy a drink until we saw the prices. I forgot the brand, something you'd never pay more than $5/bottle for, like Miller, they wanted over $10/bottle. And a glass of wine, which she knows her prices, they wanted more $$ for one glass of a particular brand, than she would pay for an entire bottle here in Syracuse. We left.
  5. Maybe, I'll check that out over the weekend.
  6. Old house, we had a fridge that sometimes the door would not shut all the way, you'd have to "pick it up" when closing. Discovered the bottom hinge was starting to break, so if you happened to lean on the door when it was open, it would put it just enough out of alignment to not shut fully. But the problem was, between the time we discovered this and the new part arrived, we were hosting a party. Spent most of that day double checking that the door was closed. New house, haven't figured out a solution yet, but our door won't shut fully on it's own. It will stop about 1-2 inches before closing, so we have to push it shut. I suspect like the old house, it's just a hinge alignment, but I haven't taken the time to deal with it yet.
  7. "During a search by a police matron, 520 dollars was found in her underwear." I can picture this police matron as someone that looks like a house mother for a sorority. Or Robin Williams as Mrs. Doubtfire.

  10. The ceremony is long enough, imagine how long it would take with 20 inductions. They'd have to spread it over two or more days.
  11. TIL... how to fix a condensation pump on a furnace for my AC.
  12. Anytime I see a Nissan from Mike Barney, I sing the jingle in my head.
  13. If you would ever consider giving some away, I'd like one for my man cave.
  14. If it involves heavy moving, I'll tip. Last two times I moved, I gave each worker $40. Cause quite frankly, they had it all done in less than four hours, and that includes driving everything from one location to the other.

  16. I do that too. I'll sit there and wait, while they'll sit there and wave at me to go. Uh, no idiot, you have the right of way, you go. My wife will tell me they're just being nice. There's no being nice when you're on the road.

  19. If you stuck with one airline, you'd be Elite Diamond Plus by now.
  20. Cam was in coach And we call them the "unwashed masses".
  21. The article says it was a Frist Class seat, but it's not. Watching the video, the guy is in the exit row with only the flight attendant seat in front of him, so he has plenty of leg room and doesn't have to get up if one of his row mates wants to get up. I wouldn't switch either for anything under $5K.
