There’s a good interview one of the local news stations did with him, back in 2017, before his last show ever. If I can find it, I’ll post it. -
What's your favorite crockpot recipe?

Shredded beef... https://www.thechunkychef.com/crockpot-shredded-beef-barbecue/ -
Stevie T is Steve Tahou, a relative of Nick. I learned that from one of the videos.

He's been doing a cooking show while staying at home. One episode was a Garbage Plate....

I've seen a few places offer relish on the plate, has anyone tried it? I have and thought it gave a nice additional flavor to the plate. There's a few places here in the Syracuse area offering plates. I had one from Brick and Barrel in Baldwinsville a couple weeks ago, it was the first plate I considered not being able to finish it all. Not because of taste, but because I was feeling full. They don't have it all the time, they change up the menu weekly. https://www.brick-n-barrel.com/

We define a year as one revolution around the sun. Other planets in our solar system take different amounts of time to make one revolution, so their “year” is not the same as ours. With that said, when watching Sci-fi movies and tv shows and a character refers to an alien being “x years old”, are they referencing an earth year, or the aliens home planet year?

That's because it's on Hulu

cause, you know, they would add so much more to the story.... https://www.the-sun.com/news/1033256/topless-sunbather-rescues-family-of-three/

Songs that wouldn't have been written/recorded in 2020
Just Jack replied to Golden Goat's topic in Off the Wall Archives
So, I don't remember exact lyrics, but here's the back story. Restaurants/stores will sometimes have Muzak subscriptions. What happens if you don't pay your subscription or it loses the signal? It records the last half hour and just repeats it, over and over. Anyways, we were working at a Wendy's overnight and hearing the same five 50's style songs over and over. One of the two I remember was a guy singing about a girl, and by the lyrics, he was stalking her. All "I'm here for you, if you'd just notice me" and "I see you in the park with that guy that isn't good for you". We called that one the Stalker song The other I remember was a girl singing about an older guy. How most people would think he was too old for her, and he was married, but she knew he was the one for her. That one we called The Pedophile song. -
A thread for those thoughts that while interesting, aren't deserving of their own thread. I'll start. Why would this commercial really need to point out in the small print that these people are "Not actual consumers. Paid actors."

That's why I provided the link earlier, that guy basically had written up, and provided pictures, of everything I was going to say. Here's some additional info. In the earlier video from the truck series garages, that's a different garage area. Map of the speedway https://www.talladegasuperspeedway.com/Plan-Your-Visit/~/media/16DE19C2B294465B9A2745F99F125887.ashx The Gander Trucks use a different garage area than NASCAR. Both garage areas use/used the same rope pull for the doors. You can also see, between the video and the pictures, the doors on the NASCAR garages are wider. So I don't know why someone with NASCAR, or any of the other teams, said "Hey! we all have nooses in our garages."

Will check it out also.

Still Taking a Vacation this Summer?
Just Jack replied to Halloween Land's topic in Off the Wall Archives
How about $30K for this? https://www.brindleybeach.com/vacation-rentals/grande-ritz-Carolina-EP204/ -
Slots (in NY) are typically in the low to mid 90% range for payouts.

My Dad says he knows when it's Sunday, because that's when the big newspaper arrives.
