  1. No, it's not a regular issue. It's actually the first mis-delivered since moving here about a year and a half ago. In fact, today I received the rest of what was on the same order.
  2. I didn’t have MTV then but remember watching it on one of the broadcast networks.
  3. So yes, it was delivered yesterday. But to a house across the street. They brought it over this evening. Now, I do want to inform the USPS of the miss delivery, but not make it sound like a complaint. Is there a form on the web I can fill out?
  4. My Mom came along

  6. Like I said, no one approached my porch around the time it was marked delivered. That's what I thought, being so late in the day. Thankfully it's nothing I needed desperately.
  7. Anyone ever have this happen? Both Amazon and USPS show a package as delivered, but it's not where they say it should be. And according to the USPS website, they say give it 24 hours to show up before reporting a missing package. I wonder if drivers are allowed to mark stuff as delivered, as long as it gets delivered the next day. It was marked at 7:45PM, so I'm thinking the driver just wanted to go home. And yes, I was home and no one came to the door about that time.
  8. Linebacker? Really? Even I knew that was a stupid answer.
  9. Bruce with the win in the regular Feud portion.

  11. One of my uncles was the accountant on staff for a small city newspaper. He would struggle each week to find enough money to cover payroll. Told the owner he'd have to make some changes to get more money coming in. The owner decided to buy up more local newspapers would be a good way to bring in more money. ?
  12. Not my bill, not my problem.
  13. My father has you beat. When he was a lad, he and is siblings moved 2 doors down. It was a parade of children running back and forth between the two house carrying everything. No packing boxes, trucks, etc, needed. A cousin of mine, her and her husband have an inground heated pool, here in the Syracuse area. They've used it in March some years.
  14. That reminded me of a story from years ago at Price Chopper. I was sitting in the parking lot and saw a woman heading out of the lot pushing one of their carts. Well, this particular store has the wheel locks if you try to take them out of the lot. She gets to the loop, and the wheel locks. She tries to push it, but it's not moving easily, so she goes, grabs another cart, loads her stuff in, then tries to head out of the lot again. And again, the new cart wheel locks up. She didn't even have that much, maybe three bags. She gives up, just leaves both carts in the exit lane of the parking lot and walks off with her bags.

She was 58.
  16. I would not have the extras travel with the team, just take who you normally would.
  17. With everything going on, should the NFL allow teams to carry more than the 53 players this year? I was thinking in the 70-75 range.
  18. Syracuse, born and bred. I've met his parents.
  19. So if they have the season ticket holder on record sign the waiver, then said STH sells their seats to someone else that did not sign a waiver, can they still sue? I guess we'll find out if/when it happens.
  20. This one deserves it's own "Caption the pic" thread.
  21. That's ridiculous when about a block away is this one for about the same price... https://www.zillow.com/homedetails/196-34-51st-Ave-Fresh-Meadows-NY-11365/2080380574_zpid/
  22. I'll return my cart to the corral about 99% of the time. Now with that being said.... As a former grocery store stocker, one of my duties was bringing in carts. I didn't care if they were in the corral or not, because the more time I spent outside gathering carts, the less time I was spending inside the store dealing with customers. I'd go hiking over the entire lot, making sure I checked the far corners of the lot. In winter I'd check the snow piles and pull out any I found in there. Most of my fellow employees felt the same way, sometimes it was a race when they would call for carts, because the first one to the front of the store got to go get them. And we didn't have one of those motorized cart pushers, it was all pure muscle.
