  2. And now, Royal Caribbean is shutting down for 30 days.... http://www.royalcaribbean.com/cruise-ships/itinerary-updates
  3. He's becoming the Doctor Oz of governors. "Let me tell you today, what new thing is going to kill you."
  4. I can't say much publicly, but if your FIL wants to double that, I know of some big deals coming in the stock market. Don't worry, I got all this info from my good friend @Chef Jim. You can trust him because he lives in Cali and owns a hill house. And people know, those hill houses are not cheap. So just have your FIL sign over the check to me when it arrives.
  5. I had those several years ago when I was at one of the few Wendy's that still did breakfast. I said then, if they ever put these on the regular menu, I'm never getting fries again. Looking forward to trying them again, along with the Breakfast Baconator.
  6. Not quite, guy in line at Costco Friday night had 8 gallons of it in his cart. Recap, went Friday to Wegmans by my house, crowded at 3pm, like holiday shopping crowded. White bread was all gone, but other types were plenty, along with hot dog/hamburg rolls. English muffins were all gone, but plenty of bagels. Canned vegetable aisle was stripped bare. Didn't bother looking for TP. At checkout, lady in front of us had 8 cases of Dasani water, along with other stuff. Then onto Costco, the entire paper products aisle was gone. TP, paper towels, napkins, tissues, all gone. Two pallets of pasta, gone. Lots of other stuff was still available, but limited quantity. Today, stopped at an Aldi in the small town my parents live, still had TP, but only about a half pallet. Some sections were cleaned out, but they had plenty of canned fruits and veggies available.
  7. So did I, because I thought they only worked one day a week, since that was all I ever saw of them. Hmmm, that or watching paint dry. I think I'll start a new sports league, Competitive Paint Drying. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tpk4q_Zo2ws
  8. Princess Cruises shuts down for 60 days.... http://www.princess.com/news/notices_and_advisories/notices/global-ship-operations-pause.html
  9. Not a logo, but news about the Bills. Was doing some work at a Wendy's out in New Mexico, and in their office they had a one page, weekly newsletter, hanging on a bulletin board. Things like promo items ending, new items coming, etc. But at the bottom was what caught my attention. It was a few sentences about the passing of Ralph Wilson. I asked the store manager, and they told me the District Manager is a big Bills fan and is always including little blurbs about the Bills in their weekly newsletter.
  10. and hotels, restaurants, airlines, Uber/Lyft drivers, etc.
  11. A couple years ago, when SU was first talking about Dome renovations, it came up that the Dome holds more fans for basketball, than most NBA arenas.
  12. I won't go to London again, unless the Bills are the "Home" team. Went back in 2015 and while it was a fun weekend, everything inside the stadium was Jags stuff. And they ran out of Beef On Weck halfway through the first quarter.
  13. We had a Uni-Mart in Alfred. Nothing better than 2 UniDogs for $1 after a long night of drinking.
  14. I haven't tried to get a deal, and I've been a customer since 2003. With that said, I know I'm paying about $25/month. I've heard from my sister that last year when she went to renew her sub, she tried the "threaten to cancel", and they came right out with an offer of $120/year.
  15. Whataburger. Anytime I go to Texas, I make sure to get at least one stop in.
  16. I've got a cruise in the first week in April, also the Caribbean, still planning on going. I figure by then they'll have a handle on precautions and routines, and a lot of people may decide to cancel/reschedule since the cruise line is offering no penalty's now for late cancellation. I've packed an extra roll of TP in my suitcase for years, for those late night ass explosions where the cleaning staff hasn't refilled the roll the day before and it's almost out.
  17. I remember seeing a demolition video a few years ago, where only the first couple of floors collapsed. The rest of the building stayed in one piece.
  18. One of my favorite authors, I really think Hollywood should have turned more of his books into movies. https://www.msn.com/en-us/entertainment/books/clive-cussler-best-selling-author-and-adventurer-is-dead-at-88/ar-BB10qCB4?ocid=spartandhp
  19. Really? 17 posts and no one has called out @BringBackFergy?

  21. Am I the only one that thought of @cåblelady when I saw the thread title?
  22. I prefer the paper, and use the app as a backup, or if my flights change after checking in. As for deplaning, if I have a window seat and plenty of time, I'll let most of the plane get off before I even get out of my seat. Another thing I've been doing, since my carry on is a backpack, is I'll put it in the overhead on the opposite side of the aisle. This way when I get out of my row, all I need to do is reach across and grab my pack. No need to stand, turn around, and get my pack. Saves time.
  23. No dice. My curves go in the opposite direction than hers.
  24. Seen it.. not gonna link to it, but here's a picture of the "performer"
  25. I will recline just enough so I'm not sitting straight up.
