Chargers still need to think about a QB for the future (and TT is not it). Rivers is really on his last legs.

He did his annual 15 minute offering to Satan, then took off for Barbados. He's done. -

Serious question though - if one of AB's hangups was about getting the bulk of his pay as guaranteed, and now we find out the Raiders dont have the funds to put in escrow, where does that leave AB's contract status? Shouldnt Rosenhaus have vetted this out in the first place? -

AB didnt read the fine print in the contract that he will be paid with food stamps, coupons and bitcoins. -
Report - Bills interested in Frank Gore, RB
Stevie Ray replied to wppete's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
LOL at some of the exploding heads here! -
I actually dont think RJ was worse than AVP. RJs problems were taking way too many sacks and constantly getting hurt. But he had some games where he put up good numbers and certainly was more productive than AVP. I wouldnt lump him in the same category as Brohm, Peterman and Tuel.

Who's more overrated...goff or mcvay
Stevie Ray replied to Hebert19's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Mahomes should not have lined up offside when he intercepted Brady's pass, otherwise KC would have been in the Super Bowl, so yes he deserves the put downs ? -
Great Job by Wade Phillips
Stevie Ray replied to TC in St. Louis's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
What a shame. Wasted effort by Wade's D, which for most of the year was getting put down while the Rams' offense got all the praise. When it mattered most, who showed up and who didnt? -
I honestly believe as a few have mentioned that Gilmore was a good CB in Buffalo who didn't go all out, especially in the run game. Perhaps he was saving himself for free agency, perhaps it was poor coaching, maybe both. But I dont think there is any denying that he is a very good CB now and certainly must get better coaching than he did in Buffalo. I do agree too that he gets away with a little more borderline interference, unless it is obviously blatant. My biggest issue though just goes back to the lack of effort he gave in tackling. I had no issue with his coverage skills while he was here.

Super Bowl 2nd half Game Thread

Really do wish the Saints would have been in it. Payton and Brees would NOT have been schooled like that. -

http://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/25894368/inside-taboo-bizarre-revealing-world-stadium-bathrooms-super-bowl-liii-nfl-2018 There's a shout out to the Ralph/New Era regarding Bills' fans and their "extracurricular" activities. Ewww. In any event, this is definitely a subject I never really gave much thought to so it was somewhat interesting, but I had to stop eating breakfast while reading it.

Jim Kelly wants to sit down with Josh Allen...
Stevie Ray replied to LabattBlue's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Not sure why most are misinterpreting LB's post as concern that JK will ruin JA with his advise. LB clearly said that he would be ok if Allen sought out Jim, but this is (once again) Jim offering his unsolicited advice. Put yourself in McDermott's shoes, would you be thrilled about this, regardless of Jim's success or legacy? McD has already answered how he views Josh's time with Palmer, in that it needs to fit with their plan for him. So of course any other "guidance" would have to be met with some concern. I love Jim, my favorite Bill of all-time, but he had his time. Root from afar, offer advice if requested and do so in a non-public fashion, but let the coaches do their job. -
How Does LA Match Up Against New England?
Stevie Ray replied to BillyWhiteShows's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Good points, especially about the LA Defense and the pressure they generate up the middle. For the life of me I dont understand why Pats opponents do not do this often as it has proven in the few times done that Brady is at his worst when he is pressured in front. He gets rid of the ball quick so the rush from the outside is useless since he either has gotten rid of the ball or moves up to avoid the hit. But getting pressure up the middle and in his face takes away those strengths of his. I feel the Rams with Donald and Suh can generate that rush and agree that Phillips is light years ahead of Sutton in terms of scheming and bringing out the best from his players. -

Dee Ford, friggen numbskull. Why line up over the ball when you havent even been putting any pressure all day. -
The tough times of Nickell Robey-Coleman
Stevie Ray replied to Kirby Jackson's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Any death is awful. The question is how the affected handle it, along with their general attitude. That's where there's a big difference between MD and NRC, hence the difference in how each is viewed. -
Lol, yeah but gotta say, compared to other Jet fans, Jimmy sounds like a Rhodes scholar.

It's a shame how some people just take sports too seriously.
