If A. Brown were serious about playing with his life long helmet, then he should have no qualms about leaving the NFL and playing in this league. Do it AB, I dare ya!
Maybe they take a page from their own history book and trade Zeke like they did Hershel Walker. granted they would not get the same type of return, but they could certainly get some premium draft picks for a player still on the rise.
Good lord, worried about McD, worried about Spain, worried about the 3rd string QB, worried about Ed Oliver's attitude, worried about worrying......these threads really bolster the need for a shortened preseason!
Jets' fans at home are obnoxious drunk disrespectful morons. And those are their redeeming qualities ?.
Over the years I've been to several games wearing my Bills jersey and have had a few things said but never over the line, but close enough. If the line is crossed, I would have no qualms dealing with them appropriately. That said, not sure it would be a good place to take your friend given his situation unless you go without wearing the colors. Just my 2 cents.
He was on the Today show a couple of days ago with his wife talking about the book. Seems like a good guy: https://www.today.com/video/meet-for-the-former-nfl-player-studying-mathematics-at-mit-59518533528
I honestly dont remember the exact nature, but I know he had some back and forths with a few here and pretty much said he was leaving. I know he was certainly subjected to some over the top snipes, but he was also quick to dish some out. Handle might have been Tim G, not sure.
Gotcha. I actually thought he started well early last season then tailed off after an injury. If healthy I think he would be a good pick up for someone.
