This is why I dont follow Twitter. Not because of the stuff people write, or should I say "tweet", but because of the ridiculous reactions and importance that some people place on what was tweeted. Good grief!
At this point there isnt a QB out there, who is available, who could turn this team around. So I say bring him in so we can have a sucktitude stable of QBs that will lead us to an abysmal record in hopes of drafting a REAL QB come 2014!
The problem is, aside from him obviously being the better RB, how about waiting to see how the load is carried out come the season, instead of whining about it now. Way to make a new teammate feel welcome.
CJ's comments reveal he cares about how many carries he will lose, i.e. personal stats. Shonn Greene's comments allude to defenses having a hard time accounting for two different styles of runners, and how that will benefit the offense. I wonder which guy is the "team player"?
Actually, i think (and i may be mistaken) that he is no longer banned from having an ownership stake in the league. I just think he isnt interested in being an owner anymore and I think he is living down in Fla now. But I agree, he would be an awesome owner!
Cut him some slack. He's still trying to learn how to work the new digital phone system with caller ID readout. Once he gets that down, he'll start reaching out to FA's.
Actually he was a red shirt freshman, therfore next year will be his third year and he would be eligible for the draft in 2014 (if he chooses to declare).
Good point. Or do they consider the needs of the teams? Now would have to wait longer to sign FAs and shortnes the amount of time drafted and undrafted players have for OTAs and to assimilate/acclimate prior to TC.
Well said John, well said! No matter what choice was made, there would always be a segment that would find something to complain about. And as a previous poster stated, not a single down has been played yet.
