  1. I agree. The red helmets would be sweet with the current suits. I don't like helmets that are the same color as the logo with a big white line around it. Sort of like what the Texans have. Thumbs down for me.
  2. I like nasty Nate. He has showed some good things. A QB is not "accurate" if he can hit a nice pass about 1/2 the time. He seriously needs to work on consistency if he ever wants to start for us. 50% ain't gonna get it.
  3. Wanted to spend more time with his family. I believe him. I have no reason to doubt him. Lol and too true. Perfect. I think Herman was a punter though. The team was 3-13 the year before. They also got Troy with the first pick in the draft before the HW trade.
  4. Is this really necessary? Oh, the sleeping pills and razorblades are in the glove box.
  5. Thanks for a voice of reason diehard.
  6. So now we're throwing playing against bad teams into the equation? There are no style points in football. Points are good no matter how you get them. Just win.
  7. Do numbers count for more if the offense is hard? Give me to 10th In points with a simple offense and a D that knows how many men are supposed to get in the field.
  8. How Lang has it taken Jacksonville to get above 5 wins? Or Cleveland?
  9. Next year. He can battle it out with franchise QB X from the draft.
  10. As would I. I think he's a FA after this year.
  11. Do you think Boldin ran a good route and did everything he could to catch or at least break up the play so Darby doesn't catch it. Hotrod was flushed out of the pocket running right. What other receiver was on that side of the field he could have thrown to? It was a bad play for Hotrod. Still, he could have use some help from a veteran.
  12. How many Whit supremists did you expect? It's small group of knuckleheads.
  13. Perhaps, but he got no help from Boldin on that one. Looked like he was loafin' out there.
  14. Come on man, those are regular season numbers against first teamers who game planned for him. We're only interested in stats for pre season games against scrubs that didn't game plan. That's what counts. Come on man, get with the program.
  15. Nothing to get torn about. We go balls out and try to win this thing. Saying we have a tough schedule and we can't compete so why even try is for sissies. Fuggedabout it. Enough with the losing. Guys need to learn how to win especially the close games. Losing on purpose or not giving 100% to win is for losers. Go BILLS !!!
  16. 19-0 Pre season is NOT real football and has no bearing whatsoever when real games start.
  17. Except he did earlier in the game. 1st and 10 on the Bills 30, Hotrod hits Zay Jones over the middle in tight coverage for a 13 yard pickup. The play was called back due to a false start by Boldin. Our offense will be ok. McCoy has played little, but when he has he has looked very good. That screen to him was sweet. Hotrod started slow to say the least. But he did settle down and made some good plays.
  18. Doodle-E-Doodle-E-doo-doo
  19. What do we do if Peterman gets hurt in the first game? Yates?
  20. We've got some statue craziness going on in Seattle. 2 of them actually. One is a Confederate soldiers memorial at a private cemetary. I don't think hardly anyone in Seattle knew about it until the Seattle Times ran a picture of it yesterday. Now of course there are protesters there and the mayor says they should take it down. The other is a statue of Lenin that someone found in a field and shipped it back to Seattle a long time ago. It's pretty much been a joke since I've lived here. Allegedly it's for sale. It's in a shopping center parking lot. They put Christmas lights on it in December. Now they have protesters too. http://www.seattletimes.com/seattle-news/seattle-mayor-murray-calls-for-removal-of-confederate-monument-lenin-statue/ But that's America. Distract the people about something trivial. And now with social media, a mob mentality ensues. Notice the uproar over health care reform had been taken over by this statue business.
  21. How are we "stripping talent"? I understand the Sammy trade, but what else? Why did we sign Boldin if we are "stripping talent"? Why did we resign Hotrod. Why did we trade for Matthews? Why are we holding onto McCoy? I just don't see it. I think we're doing both. Building for the future AND trying to win as many games as we can this year.
  22. The Cheaps pick will likely be 25+. And our pick at 8+ let's say isn't going to convince Jets or 49ers or Jacksonville to move down. We may as well just try to win.
  23. Nasty Nate makes some good throws, but he also throws a lot of clunkers. Like over throwing the wide open guy in the EZ. Kindof reminds me of JP in that he makes some nice throws and you think, man, we got something here, and then misses an easy 2 yard pass. Speaking of JP, Hotrod's tackle was best Bills QB tackle I've seen since JP ran a guy down and clobbered him at the sidelines Kid has some promise I guess, but starting? Really? Come on man. He's got a lot of work to do.
  24. Actually not. He hit guys exactly as often as not. 10 for 20 to be exact. IT WAS A PRACTICE GAME. Hotrod working on new stuff in a new Offense. I play drums and sometimes I sound horrible practicing because I'm working on what I'm not good at. That's what you do when practicing, even if it is a PRACTICE GAME. Some of y'all sound like this is your first rodeo.
