  1. Maybe it will mend his broken heart? bad luck to him playing for the Cheats**. I hope the Tredavian Nightmare gets 6 pick 6s off of his drops.
  2. Not necessarily. A franchise QB would throw for 6 gazillion yards even if he was running the wishbone. Get with the program
  3. Sorry, must have missed that. Maybe we should try to get what they had? Seattle's SB run didn't look like there was much luck involved to me. Looked like it had to do wth a lot of talent and a lot of good coaching. I don't care who your QB is, you ain't doing it without good talent and good coaching. We got good coaching now I think.
  4. Maybe we should try to build our own "QB-friendly situation"?
  5. But all your posts say you gotta trade and get somebody. I have not see nyou ever say if they guy (s)they want are gone, don't trade up. It's always don't hide, swing at anything because you miss the ones you don't swing at.
  6. Depends on what you're swinging at. Sometimes on a 3-2 pitch, instead of swinging for some high inside pitch, you don't swing and take a walk. Then you steal second. Then the next guy grounds out and you get the third. The next guy hits a SAC fly and YOU SCORE!! There's more than one way to skin a cat.
  7. Agreed on giving him a solid chance if Beane thinks he's it. But really we have ZERO idea on Beane's choosing QBs ability. We already know McDermott's is highly suspect with sticking with Hotrod this year instead of drafting Watkins. And, picking Nasty Nate and actually thinking he's ready to start a game when he clearly was not even close. So we'll see. I'd rather take a project in round 2 and keep all of our picks than trade up to pick Allen or Rudolph. Like I said, I'm not sold on any of these guys. If there's one or two or heck even three they think is IT, by all means go for it. But to trade up to get A QB just and getting one they don't believe in but is one of the top 5 would be foolish IMHO. It all depends on what you are reaching for.
  8. Allen is rated high because he has all the measuables. Height, weight, hand size, etc and he can throw the football a country mile. Some scouts eat this stuff up to the exclusion of how accurately he can throw the football.
  9. Seahawks suits are butt fugly too IMHO.
  10. He would be a better 2nd or 3rd stringer than Nasty Nate. He threw twice as many TDs with the same number of picks. This would definitely work to KB: http://www.nfl.com/m/share?p=%2Fvideos%2Fnfl-game-highlights%2F0ap3000000861435%2FKevin-Hogan-darts-TD-pass-to-Seth-Devalve
  11. They won a playoff game in part because their QB threw a pass to a DB that blocked it back to the QB that he caught and ran in for a TD. Sounds to me like luck is not their problem.
  12. Why are you actively competing for the title of "Most **** Posts"? There's no reason to be an *** about it if you disagree.
  13. Trading a bunch of picks (expecially including next years #1) for Josh Allen is my nightmare scenario.
  14. its as easy as that. Its amazing that the other 21 teams that don't have "franchise QB"s have never been able to figure that out like you have! Start making the playoffs? Did you muiss the 2017 season? The drought is dead like the wicked Witch of the East. I don't know about systems but I'm not sold on any of these guys.
  15. Based on seeing ridiculous college Nike uniforms and now NFL too, my theory is this is exactly how they do it. They have some uniform designer app. It has about 10 designs of strips etc and about 10 different number type with only a handful of colors with black as the default choice. Doesn't even have to be the teams colors. That's why they all look the same. It was better when each team did their own and they were different. You had crazy ones like the Bucs dreamsicle suits and more traditional looking ones and some in between. Bring back professional designers designing uniforms with knowledge of design and color. Having a father and brother that do this sort of stuff I know there's an art and a science to it, not just a point and click computer application. My predication that alll of the crazy suits will look dated in the not too different future has come to pass as well. Sort of like the old Atlanta Hawks uniforms. The Jaguars, for example which they are already changing. As far as the titans suits, as long as they wear the white pants they'll at least be passable. However i suspect they'll wear those dark pants the most.
  16. Still lame. Nike should hire a uniform designer.
  17. MAybe it isn't? Keenum, Foles,Bottles being 3 of the last 4 QBs standing.I The era of the franchise QB may be fading. Where are the young ones? The only 3 being Wilson, Newton, and Luck if he can stay healthy. They're all going to be 30 this year. Wentz MAybe if he can recover. Goff we'll see.
  18. Feels like the ghost of George Allen is running that team.
  19. I was watching a pre season game last year. 49ers against somebody. The announcer said he thought that would happen and was already starting. He said teams have gone to smaller faster defenders. Teams will load up on road grader offensive lineman and ram the football down their throat. Pretty much what we did in 2015 and 2016. Then, we hired Rico and he had better ideas.
  20. Are these people better people or better Americans or more important because they have college degree and way more money? Actually your stAtement makes perfect sense. With Hillary it's all about the money. But it is very divisive. The inclusion of "diverse" is her "dog whistle" that all people that didn't vote for her.are racist/sexit/homopnobic/ xenophobic/anti Semitic pigs or are married too one. That's why she lost. Most people aren't racists and are tired of being called that when they disagree with the D party line. Ds used to be the party of the little guy, the downtrodden, the disadvantaged, and the union workers. No more evidently. Now they're the party of the rich college grads. Sounds privileged.
  21. Kurt Warner Brett Favre Matt Hasselbeck Doug Flutie Warren Moon Drew Brees
  22. Did you watch football in the 70s? It was the same then. Teams with great QBs were perennial winners. Cowboys with Staubach. Stealers with Bradshaw. Fish with Griese. Raiders with Stabler. Those were some great QBs.
  23. Interesting that the smartest** coach with the best** QB would trade a first round pick for a WR one year. And then the next try to trade for one of the most dynamic WRs in football. My suggestion to him would be to spend some quality time on TBD where he can learn that WRs aren't important if you have a "franchise QB". Does he know something we don't? I have a feeling the Jimmy G trade will look less like a steel once teams have all off season to study film ofhim and games will be real as opposed to the garbage time fests at the end of the 49ers season.
