  1. When I think of fast guys they are in the low 4.4s. If Clay was a bigger receiver then 4.5 would be a good time but he is only 5' 10 190 lbs so to me his speed is average.
  2. My only guess is that he was brought back for mainly special team purposes. He is not that fast, I believe he timed in the 4.5 range so maybe they want him for kick or punt return purposes to replace Tate.
  3. This is the QB I want if we plan on trading up to select a Franchise QB. I rather take a chance on him than a project like Allen.
  4. Don't care much for those 2nd and 3rd round picks.
  5. I can see Belicheck trying to Jedi mind trick the Jets into picking the wrong QB.
  6. Unfortunately that is the biggest thing teams get wrong for the most important position in football. There is no development system in place for QBs to learn and get better. Guys coming out of college are not polished prospects but are expected to be at a certain level whether it be understanding offenses, reading defenses, throwing mechanics, footwork, etc.. With reps being limited if you are not the starter it is difficult to get players to show progress as some may be slower than others. I hope the Bills are looking at all avenues in setting up an environment to assist in this development process. Whether it be VR training, recommending guys work with QB gurus when not with the team on aspects they want corrected. I think the more work put towards helping with this transition the greater chance for success there is.
  7. Not in love with trading to #2 for Allen. If he falls out of the top# 5 fine but I don't think he is going to be ready to play for a few years. Rather risk those picks on Rosen instead who I expect the Jets to end up drafting. I could see Mayfield dropping out of the # 10 unless another team trades up. I would rather go with Mayfield over Allen as well.
  8. And out of those 5 wins only 1 can someone say was a quality win and that was against Jax. 2 if you want to count Tennessee as well.
  9. 100% this the play of the interior was subpar. I love Kyle but he is not a starting every down player anymore and the other players are just guys. Reason why they overpaid for Lotulelei a non flashy player but will solidify the middle. We need another DT who can be our Aaron Donald someone athletic and explosive who can make plays in the backfield.
  10. Well now we have been linked to all 4 of the top QBs in this draft. No one knows who the Bills really covet.
  11. Buy the QB enough time guys will get open. DBs can't cover forever.
  12. Fix the O-line first I rather see Brandon Reilly or some undrafted guy play before I worry about having to fix the receiving core. It won't matter much who is at WR if the pass blocking is poor and the QB is getting killed.
  13. Agreed this is news worthy and don't see any issue with it being in a new thread. There is plenty to complain for some of the other threads that get started on topics that have been discussed ad nauseam already.
  14. I wouldn't think the Bills pull a Jet's like move and move up prior to draft day so get your paper bag ready.
  15. McDermott/Beane have clearly demonstrated if you are not buying into the process they are going to ship you out regardless of how talented you are.
  16. Agree if they are unable to trade up for a QB or one doesn't fall to them. Not getting either Tremaine Edmunds or Roquan Smith would just be a dumb move.
  17. I don't know Browns have so many picks as it is this year. I am sure they would need at a minimum our # 1 next year to even consider dropping outside the Top# 10.
  18. They have been linked to every QB except Mayfield at this point.
  19. Waiting for but what about the Comp picks group to show up
  20. I don't see the Giants taking a QB regardless of what happens with Cleveland at #1. I don't think any of the guys coming out are sure fire Franchise QBs. Giants have Davis Webb on their roster who offers some upside as their developmental guy. I think the Giants want to trade down and load up on players to make one last run with Eli. http://www.nydailynews.com/sports/football/giants/giants-remain-intrigued-david-webb-nfl-draft-approaches-article-1.3847368
  21. Don’t think the Browns will go with either Rosen or Mayfield. It is most likely Darnold with Allen being the wild card. There was a report which mentioned Dorsey said something about steering clear of Rosen and I believe this was prior to him getting the GM job with Cleveland. Plus with Rosen’s preference to not play in Cleveland leads me to believe he won’t be their guy. https://dawgpounddaily.com/2017/12/26/cleveland-browns-dorsey-rosen-fan/ http://www.cleveland.com/browns/index.ssf/2018/01/john_dorsey_says_report_he_sai.html
  22. They could but Hughes's contract is manageable. They get a proven pass rusher and a number of additional picks to help fill other positions as well. Seems like a Win Win for both teams.
  23. Colts looks like they are switching back to a 4-3 this year. http://www.colts.com/news/article-1/Matt-Eberflus-Discusses-Colts’-Transition-To-4-3-Base-Defense/84bf9df7-ada0-49c2-88d1-f26f60c10cd8
  24. Seeing how the Colts need a DE wouldn't be surprised to see Beane offer up Hughes in addition to picks to move up to # 3.
