  1. I still wouldn’t be surprised if the Browns draft Allen at #4 and take the best player in the draft Barkley at #1.
  2. Watching Rosen’s interview he comes off as not being totally genuine. Definitely think he is a smart kid but I just had hard time buying some of things he said. Maybe reason why some people question his leadership skills and love for the game.
  3. If the QB the Bills covet is gone and they were unable to or unwilling to part with the picks necessary to move up. It makes sense to trade down with one of your 1st rd picks if they don't have a high grade on the other QBs. We don't need another EJ Manuel situation where Buddy Nix mentioned he was going to draft a QB and they turned that into their singular focus that draft. If you are going to pay a high price to move up you better be getting the top 1 or 2 QB. I am not interested in giving up the farm for a lesser prospect like Josh Allen just because we need a QB.
  4. Will definitely be watching all the QBs closely when they throw tomorrow. Very interested to see how it all shakes out.
  5. I wouldn't mind him in the 2nd if still available and we missed out on the top # 3 QBs. However, my preference would be Kyle Lauletta in rounds 3-4. Jackson is going to need a full year in a NFL weight and conditioning program. He would get killed out there with his slight frame. Look at the beating Cam Newton takes but at least he weighs 250. Also, you are going to need a special offense catered to his strengths. If Lamar is the pick I see no reason why they shouldn't keep Tyrod as well for another year since he would be an ideal fit for the same type of offense.
  6. Interesting lots of OL prospects. Have a good line and it will help whoever is back there at QB. I think Keenum and Bradford until he got hurt benefited from the Vikings attention to the o-line in the offseason.
  7. I think he lost his job when he had that terrible press conference where he threw his owners under the bus.
  8. Yes I think Tyrod is their fall back option in the event they can't trade him and they are unable to sign another veteran QB they like.
  9. They have the money to remake that side of the ball and show Cousins they are serious about contending.
  10. I don't think character/personality wise he is the type of player that this regime will go after. I believe there is a reason he only received a 1 yr offer after putting together a solid 2016 season for the Bills. Maybe like another poster mentioned his financial demands were ridiculous. I think teams are worried about paying him a bunch of money and him not living up to contract.
  11. Not every situation is the same. I don't hear anyone saying this group of QBs is better than Wentz or Goff coming out of college.
  12. Everything in life is a crap shoot. I have no problem with the Bills meeting with Ivory seeing what his interest is, potential roles, contract #'s etc... For me he is a guy I can wait to sign until after the draft and I have a better idea what remaining holes need to be filled. If not I am sure there will be post June 1st cuts with other RBs available. We picked up both Jones and Cadet late who both did a decent job.
  13. That is where good scouting comes into play and hopefully the Bills have a staff in place to find those under the radar type guys.
  14. Grab an undrafted guy to compete. Re-sign Taiwan Jones or Cadet if healthy to the vet minimum. Again both lines need upgrading that should be the focus in addition to getting a QB. RBs are a dime a dozen and in the right system they can be productive. If Ivory is still unsigned by training camp and they want to bring him fine but that would not be my focus now. I would wait until after the draft and see how everything shakes out before signing anybody at that position.
  15. I would hate to spend more money at the RB or FB positions. Find me a Kamara or Hunt in the middle rounds of the draft instead. Get me an offensive lineman in FA since the transition is harder from college to the pros.
  16. Rather resign Deonte as our 4-5 wr instead.
  17. Unfortunately there is no way to know that. More likely Bradford ends on IR than start a playoff game for the Bills.
  18. If they are able to trade Tyrod I am not against getting McCown in a mentor role.
  19. Exactly you are going to be committing to another veteran QB for more than 1 yr. If the plan is to draft a QB early the expectation they are going to start sooner than later.
  20. Yes but we also got worse at run blocking as well which has nothing to do with Tyrod throwing or not throwing the ball. The o-line was never good at pass blocking to begin with and took a step back transitioning to a new run blocking scheme.
  21. It starts with the lines. LBs will look much better behind a dominant front which we are far from. I think we need 2 DTs and a DE opposite Hughes. Hughes hasn't been the same since Mario Williams left.
  22. We need at least 2 DTs. I would like a veteran to go with a rookie to help with the transition. If Kyle comes back I would like to see him in a reduced role mainly just rushing the passer.
  23. I would like to Bills to look at Bennie Logan from the Chiefs instead.
  24. Waiting to hear all about how Siemian is an upgrade over Tyrod.
  25. His 40 time slipped haha. For real it sucks when anyone loses their job and I don't know the reasons surrounding them. However justified or unjustified these things happen and hopefully he lands back on his feet.
