I've actually wondered this, but he made the call to be the play caller/D coordinator. He should know as well as anyone the time and energy it takes to do that. Frankly, he is out of excuses. This whole operation is of his design, he has had plenty of time to get the coaches he wants/needs. He makes the hiring decisions, he makes the game day roster, he designs the gameplans. This team should be humming and walking into the playoffs year after year and right now, the way this team is playing, I'm not sure they win another game

It is sad. I like McDermott, he deserves a ton of credit for helping to build this team, but he just keeps finding ways to lose winnable games. I’m not sure I see a win the rest of the year the way the entire team is playing. if they finish 5-12 he absolutely should be fired

Fields sucks. Tyson Bagent has 2 wins in 4 starts Fields is 6-25 as a starter for a whopping win percentage of .19. Yeah the Bears are bad but he was drafted to a playoff team the year before he got there. Decent talent on that roster and the QB added nothing

Which he most definitely was. Reich has been coasting on the “resurgence” of Andrew Luck who was just healthy for a year. Love the guy, but he shouldn’t be a HC or in charge of picking QBs He knew Wentz better than anyone and traded a 1st for him. And now after giving up a huge haul, he has Young who has looked nothing like an elite NFL QB. I’ve yet to even see him flash. Compared to Stroud and Richardson, you can see that talent popping up. Young? Not so much

Raiders look pretty inspired, that team does have some talent. Jets D is very very good and the Titans play hard every week. I don't think those are gimmies for Miami I hate that the Bills are in this position, but the Fins lost 5 straight last year with Tua playing. They are not invincible.
