Wanny's never built any defense or any team. He's inherited them and made them worse. He's ridden Jimmy Johnson's coat tails and by that association, and that association alone, it has been perceived that he is a "wonder boy". Well, the truth is, he's a total farce. Real DC's are on the sidelines with their troops, not up in the comfort of a skybox. You can't have the pulse of your defense when you're not on the sidelines... it's impossible. Dick LeBeau, Wade Phillips, Mike Nolan, the Ryan boys, Rod Marinelli, the late Jimmy Johnson... they are real DCs....something Wanny ain't nor will he ever be. Wanny is the biggest scam ever, in the NFL. There is no doubt in my mind if Wanny were to be canned today that the defense would improve immediately, simply by that POS subtraction.

Fitz sucks. We get it. However, there are only 3 or 4 QBs in the league... and theses guys are legends, that can win with a s $#it defense (Brees, Brady, Manning & Rodgers). If Fitz has Dallas or San Frans's defense, this conversation ain't even taking place. If you put up 34 points and lose, it ain't because your QB sucks hind tit. The Bills went out and spent $125 M on two players... that's in addition to the $15 M they've got tied up in Darius, Williams, and Kelsay. Fitz accounts for about $7M of the salary cap... about 6%...yet a lot of you numbsculls believe him to be 100 % of the problem, WTF are you thinking????? How about we look at the facts.... the Bills defense is the worst in the league.... and is on track to become the worst defense ever in the history of the NFL. And to think there are people out there that believe Tarvaris Jackson can come in and match score for score what the Bills defense gives up is beyond comprehension. Who the hell is Tarvaris Jackson??? Houdini??? He ain't even Payton Manning.

No, I'm totally unimpressed. The 31st ranked defense squared off against the 29th ranked offense and the 16th ranked offense sqared off against the 13th ranked defense. The good news is the Bills defense held the Cardinals to under 200 yards rushing. The bad news is between Kolb and their 3rd & 4th string RBs, they lit the Bills D up on the ground for 165 yards. Mind you, we're talking about the NFL's 23rd ranked rushing attack. .

I see a lot of blame going to the offense... specifically Fitz. Bottom line... offense sells tickets, defense wins championships. Right now the offense is ranked 11th, the defense 27th. Would you rather have it the other way around? I don't give a damn how many turnovers you have, good defenses limit the damage...stops, field goals, not TDs. Time of possession was pretty much equal, so the defense can't use that as an excuse. Three consecutive TD drives in the second half without any turnovers. 250 yards given up on the ground. You'd think the Bills fielded an NCAA Div. III defense. The onus is 98% in the defense, That's where the money and new construction went. The defense will make or break this team. The offense is putting up points.

I'm sticking to my initial prediction of 8-8. I'm taking the simple math approach. Since Gailey & Buddy took over they've increased their win total in increments of 2 over the past two seasons. That means next year 10-6 happens... maybe they go .500 in the division on their way to that... but, alas 10-6 ain't quite good enough for a wild card. You'll have to wait til year 5 of the Gailey/Buddy show for 12-4... and that will get them a wild card.... and maybe a home game at that. However, if and 10-6 and/or 12-4 never happen. I deny ever having posted this.

So, does this mean when our Bledsoe (Fitz) goes down with an injury, Thigpen is going to be our Brady?

The way I look at is this. Either Shep is starting MLB material, or he's not. Since he's only been around for a couple of seasons, if he can't play the position like the position needs to be played,.... if he's worth 2 Sh!tz to begin with, then you play him and let him learn on the job... that means in coverage as well as against the run. If he ain't worth 2 sh!tz, then WTF is he doing on the roster to begin with?

Go ahead and blast Fitz if you want. I don't beleive too many Bills fans would prefer him as their QB if they had a clear choice of having him, Drew Brees or Cam Newton as their QB. But, I'm looking at the stats and with two piss poor performances, Fitz still rates higher than Brees or Newton.... So what's the frickin problem??????? Dudes.... it's the frickin DEFENSE, or lack there of. THe defense has been the problem for years. They still can't stop the run, or pass. There's litterally token or no pressure on the QB. Mario, Anderson, a healthy Kyle was supposed to take care of all that. So, for all you numskulls looking for Fitz's scalp.... take this.... Bills rank 11th on offense and 27th on defense. WTF? Do you want Fitz to start tackling?
