At least you are honest. A lot of people would not admit to rewarding failure and acceptance of less than mediocrity. Ralph salutes you and the many season ticket holders that embrace his business model.

I think no Bills players belong in the Pro Bowl. There are a lot more players deserving of recognition. Don't know about the majority of the fans, I find zero comfort in a pitty trip to the beauty contest for anyone on a team that sucks, and has sucked, for this long.

We've moved up to 3rd place in the AFC east
Dr. Trooth replied to mitchmurraydowntown's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Stay tuned. A Miami win and another Bills loss, and in a flash the Bills assume rightful and well deserved 4th place. Meanwhile, my new girlfriend the Steelers have a legit shot at a WC. -
Texanites vs Cheatriots - Game thread
Dr. Trooth replied to Fan in Chicago's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The Pats are being disrespectful to the Texans. They are raining TDs on them. They should show some respect amd kick field goals. -
Is Stevie Johnson Playing Scared?
Dr. Trooth replied to BuffBill's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
They showed him #1 wr money and he aint any better than a marginal #2. They showed Fitz starter money for backup performance. Mario got huge coin to dominate. He doesn't. So, who's next to take the moneyand relax? A real owner (Bob Kraft) would demand more from them. He'd be asking them to give money back or hit the road. Ralph only demands you show up and pretend to play football. -
Ravens fire Cam Cameron (O Coordinator)
Dr. Trooth replied to NoSaint's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Oh boy. I can just envision a presser after the season. Chan comes to the podium and says "Good Morning. Buddy & I have had extensive conversations and I've decided it was best for the team that Curtis Modkins be released of his of OC duties" (rather than get my ass kicked to the curb). Chan then introduces Cameron as the OC. Now... that's just fantasy folks. In reality, if you are Cam Cameron, why the hell would you want to be the Bills OC... especially knowing you have a noodle armed, inaccurate QB, no viable backup QB, and a head Coach that ain't going to allow you to be any more agressive at play calling than he is? Cam would have to be totally stupid or stone ass drunk to accept the Bills OC Cam got canned because Flacco didn't develop under him. Well, Rivers sure did. Flacco has all the tools.... except, he has the Bledsoe disease... a slow ass brain!!! The word has been out for a couple of years that Flacco does not process information (his reads) and consistently release the ball on time. He needs an extra second or two to process the the read and release. Something no offensive line in the world can accomodate. But all is not lost. Bills don't get Cameron, but, there is a gigundo rumor eminating from Baltimore today.... Joe Flacco will become a free agent after the season. What are the chances the Ravens will franchise him at a $16M price tag or re-up him for serious starting QB coin? Fitz is bad, I agree, but a young Bledsoe wouldn't be much different... the bottom line would be the same. But then again, Bills-Flacco seems like a typical Bills move... just like Stevie, Merriman, Mario, & FItz.... Show em the money and they get worse. -
Any HC worth a damn would get 10-6 out of this team...
Dr. Trooth replied to eball's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Oh boy. You better hope Ralph doesn't get this memo. Buddy would have a whole lot of spainin to do. -
Upset? Who's upset? I'm sensing a lot of excitement in anticipation of the NFL Draft.

The "Fire Chan Gailey Now!" petition.
Dr. Trooth replied to RogerNapalm's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
You can fire Chan, but what will the result be? Answer... a new HC that doesn't to deserve to be an HC on any level but high school. I've got a better idea.... How about we circulate a petition for the governor of the state of New York use executive powers of emininat domain to take over the Buffal Bills and then resell to someone that has a passion to win. -
Well, if Buddy thinks he improved the talent on this team, why aint it showing up in the W/L column? Either Buddy is making Buddy look bad, Chan is making Buddy look bad, or the players are making Buddy look bad. I think all three are true. At the end of the day though, Ralph Wilson is at the top of a s#it organization. He purposely brings in clowns like Buddy & Chan to deflect where the real problem lies.

Are there such things as inherent losers?
Dr. Trooth replied to The Voice of Truth's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yes. There is such a thing as inherent losers. Especially when the owner tacitely demands losing from his players. He rewards losers. -
On the bright side...
Dr. Trooth replied to BuffaloBillsForever's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Dude... you are seriously dilusional. There is no team in any sport that is a mess, has been a mess for so long, and is in as much disarray as the Bills. The team is a total disgrace to football, sports, the city of Buffalo, the state of New York, and the country. -
Chan NOT the man for the job going forward.
Dr. Trooth replied to BuffaloBillsForever's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yo. Pretty sure we all get it that Chan & Wanny both suck. The fact is they've always sucked. And, going forward the Bills will continue to hire s#it GM & coaches. That's because the owner needs someone to throw under the bus for his inability and incompetence at putting a winning team on the field. Yes, The owner is quite content to spend $5M on someone to do one thing for him... take bullets for him. -
On a side note, Bills aint selecting a qb in rd. 1. Cuz, if they do, they'd have to start him right away. Bills FO is quite aware of fans disenchantment with Fitz. If they draft a qb in rd. 2 or 3 they don't have to play him and can always hide behind the "he aint ready just yet" when Fitz is still sucking. I mean, T Jax aint even ready and he's been with the Bills since the season began.

One could call a Bills loss ahead of time over the past12 seasons and be right 70% of the time. You can blame Bills losses on anything you want and you'd probably be right.

I don't think Sanchez is as bad as he's made out to be. Look at the two coordinators he's played under? Vanilla Schottenheimer and Immitation Vanilla Sparano. Bradford has seriously regressed under Schotty and Sanchez has been totally useless with Sparano, who in my opinion is the most incompetent OC in football. At best, Sparano is an average OL coach. Schotty has no ability whatsoever to field a dynamic or serious passing game

Is It Time To Call It A Career ? Chris Kelsay
Dr. Trooth replied to T master's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If Kelsay's contract numbers are manageble for next season (his final year), why would you consider letting him go? He's a three down lineman... hard to come by. He's a good rotational player as well. There is no player on the Bills that has proven as versatile... either end, on running plays or pass plays. He still brings it on every play. Kelsay is not the problem... by any strtch of the imagination. The linebackers and DC are what sucks hind tit. -
Mismanagement of Bills players is mind boggling?
Dr. Trooth replied to Jerry Jabber's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Moats is a 3-4 OLB... and a very good one. The problem is, Buddy wentoff his original plan in switching to the 3-4. In the end Moats is gingto en up playing, and thriving, in a 3-4 somewhere. Pittsburg, Jets, Houston, New England... he could be a good fit for any of those teams. -
What College QB's are the Bills Currently Scouting?
Dr. Trooth replied to Storm Front's topic in College Football
All of them. -
This is who the Bills were better than... for a day
Dr. Trooth replied to voodoo poonani's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I sure don't agree with that and a bizillion other fans don't either. Parcells once said.... "you are what you are". The Bills are 5-7 If they were bettter than that they'd be 6-6, 7-5, 8-4, etc. But. they are clearly not. The Bills do not have one single "quality" win, period. I don't care how much lipstick you apply to this pig. This team stinks and cannot get appreciably better under the current ownership. You ain't sniffin playoffs this year and you ain't sniffing them next season either. Mark that down. -
Someone has consumed way way way too much koolaid. Any way you spin it, at the end of the day, this team still sucks. The offseason is irrelevant. The Bills will suck again next season.

1) Poz is the MLB on the 31st ranked NFL defense. 2) Byrd is the FS on the 24th ranked NFL Defense. "Keeping your own" ain't necessarily a good thing. Poz was soft and Byrd is soft. Albeit, both are above average at their postitions in coverage, but both suck against the run and are not physical. If Byrd is willing to settle for a 15-20% increase in salary, I'd say keep him, but I'd advise the Bills to pickup up a starting FS (draft or FA). This team needs to get a lot a lot better and more physical at FS. Byrd is not gonna get a lot better. If the standard for safety is dudes like Polomalu, Reed, Landry, where is Byrd in that kind of company? I'll tell ya.... not there... for sure.

Perfect fit. Old, recycled, never been a NFL HC, has nothing to lose, has nothing to gain, he can play checkers with Buddy & Ralph. He'd be ammenable to setting up a blue tooth cell phone feed from Detroit in his right ear (the one that isn't getting fed from upstairs). Yeah, he and Ralph could have really productive conversations during the game. Again, perfect fit. Exactly what this team needs.
