The Bills Future Ownership, Coaching, QB & Otherwise
Dr. Trooth replied to T master's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Dudes. Get over the Bills winning. Winning is low on the organization's priorties. Winning organizations have ownership that have energy, vision, and focus. They bring in the best football people to lead and coach. Not people like Chan, Buddy, Wanny, & Guy. Those guys would mot be hired to as high level a postion as they're in by any other NFL team, let alone a winning NFL team. -
So what? I promise, the Bills can't do worse than 32 on defense.

An Edifying Discourse: The Case for Losing
Dr. Trooth replied to Juror#8's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If the Bills had the mumber 1pick in the draft each of the last 5 drafts, the would not be significantly better tham they are now. The entire organization, beginning from the top down does not have winning in their list of the top 5 priorities. Look at the FO and staff in place. Non of these losers were on any team's A,B, or C list of potential hires. These guys are barely adequate caretakers for a franchise who's owner retired a long time ago. So, it does not matter what draft the position or who's drafted, once they enter the one bills drive corridor, they become cross contaminated with the same losing tradition and mentality just from being surrounded by losers -
Dude. This organization is not in it to win it. This losing culture will not change until ownership changes hands.

OK, I agree, this team needs weapons, but also they need a guy like Plaxico Burris to demonstrate proper use of the weapon.

Aaron Williams injury status?
Dr. Trooth replied to Jerry Jabber's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Nobody on the Bills D is playing good. And, if you look at the d line, they're horrid, especially considering the investment. If the d line consistently pressures the qb and puts him on his ass, we're singing a different tune and the secondary is getting picks. -
Are Thursday night games on NFLN subject to blackout?
Dr. Trooth replied to CodeMonkey's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Man, I hope the game is blacked out around the entire world. The Buffalo area already is not held in high esteem. The Bills just make Buffalo look worse. -
Should Buffalo start playing for a high draft pick?
Dr. Trooth replied to Damond Talbot's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
What do you mean should they "start" playing for a high draft pick? Have you been away? The Bills are a lock to get a top 10 pick playing as they are. -
Did anyone think, let alone believe, this team had a legitimate shot at taking out Houston? By now we should know where the Bills are as a team ... and that is bottom feeders. Accept it. The organization is in the hands of caretakers. They're not going to be even moderately competetive for the foreseeable future. So, instead of allowing this to eat you up like a bad marriage, move on. You can always come back if the Bills ever become other than marginal. I actually only saw about a quarter of today's game... had a great time watching Melo light up the Sixers and the Cuse scrimmaging Bloomsburg. Who knows, I might even find something productive to do on Sundays.

Dr. Trooth replied to gjv001's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
HMMM.... Carson Palmer, Matt Cassell, Matt Leinart, Mark Sanchez...., ahem, Rob Johnson. Remind me again, when was the last time USC spit out a qb worth 1/2 a $#it? Palmer? That's what you got? Palmer? -
Dareus deals with adversity arcticle
Dr. Trooth replied to bmur66's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
WTF? Darius is being double teamed, Mario,same... Kyle, same. 6 offensive players tied up with blocking 3 Bills? That leaves 8 on 5. Anyone buying it? -
Pro Bowl- Who will be the Bills Representative
Dr. Trooth replied to davspo's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Tarvaris Jackson. He'll learn the offense in two days and lead the AFC to a W. -
Change is coming somewhere in the NFL
Dr. Trooth replied to thewildrabbit's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Bottom Line, Polian ain't signin on with Ralph. If he signs up at all, he's signin on for Ralph's successors. -

Dr. Trooth replied to thewildrabbit's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I don't see Polian coming to the Bills under the current situation... even if he and Ralph are on good terms. Polian would want a stable situation with a long term vision. Ralph's life stage precludes that and Polian knows the next owner could put him in the street. Now, if Polian were to be offered and accept a Bills GM/pres. position, that would clearly indicate to me there is a new ownership group already in place that will succeed Ralph, and not only endorses that, but may have made that call and Ralph's on board with it. -
Mrags brings up a good point regarding Mario's respect (or lack thereof) for Chan. But, I'll take it one step further. Perhaps quite a few players may have lost respect for Chan. And, if Chan has lost the respect of the player's, I believe it to be due to bringing Wanny in. Wanny thinks he's football royalty and the players see right through it. He's too good to be on the field with his players... he has to be upstairs. When was the last time, if ever, has a Bills DC not been on the sideline during a game?
-
No way this team contends for a playoff spot, let alone get there. Wanny is way in over his head. He has absolutely no clue as to how to coach an NFL defense. Bills don't have Tom Brady as their QB to cover for a crap defense. Even if all the planets and stars align, Bills best case scenario is 8-8.

Why is it that Fitz gets all blame?
Dr. Trooth replied to UticaBill's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Fitz gets the blame, because, in order for the Bills to win, they must score a touchdown on every possession. If they don't, it's very simple. They lose. -
Any news on Levitre's & Byrd's contract negotiations?
Dr. Trooth replied to Jerry Jabber's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Levitre is a must In reality, Byrd is a really good nickle safety. Bills desparately need a physical presence at safety. If Byrd is as good as they can do, the bills are in trouble. what's a good name for the bills defense?
Dr. Trooth replied to Dr. Trooth's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Damn! I think we have a winner. I really like "Wanny's Wimps". That is great characterization of this defense. But, "Marios Zeroes" is a close second.
