Chip is a great college coach. He has no clue what he'd be up against in the NFL. College coaches rarely succeed in the NFL. And, especially if they set their foot inside of OBD.... they have no chance whatsoever.

Bills are 6-10 with or without Bird.

First off... Nobody knows whether or not there is a franchise QB in this draft. Let me reitierate, "NOBODY!!! Drew Brees was a second rounder that got kicked to the curb by the Chargers. Brady was a 6th rounder that started in his 2nd season and won the Superbowl. No one on the planet considered either of those guys "franchisers" on draft day. That's why they didn't get drafted in the 1st round. So "franchisers" are not necessarily first rounders. I wont call Dalton or Kaepernick franchisers... at least not yet, because the rule of thumb for me is two seasons in a row in the top five or three seasons in a row in the top eight. There are plenty of five game wonders that go south in a hurry once they're exposed (see Fitz). The real question is, will the Bills select a franchise QB? They could, but if they did, they probably wouldn't know it. The thing that makes or breaks a franchiser is not just the kid himself, it's more the organization that drafts him. Ask yourelf this question, are there any players on the current Bills roster which they've drafted that could be considered a "franchiser" at their position? That would be "NO", and if anyone thinks differently, showm the franchise or HOF numbers of that player. So, what would make anyone think the Bills organiztion is able to identify and draft a franchise QB or any franchise player.... Biscuit, Bruce? The Bills organization is a collection of marginal football people at best. There is no one in the organization hat has a clear vision of what it takes to build a championship and execute a plan to realize that vision. Case in point, the past 12 seasons. And, most recently the Buddy and Chan puppet show. Buddy comes in guns guns a blazing, says we're going to the 3-4, drafts players to specifically fit that scheme, lays an egg in the first year, panics, brings in a 4-3 !@#$ (Wanny) to look over Donnie Edwards shoulder (much like Donahoe did by bringing in LeBeau after switching from the 3-4 to he 4-3), only to can Edwards, pass the baton to Wanny, switch back to a 4-3, and still be one of the bottom five defenses in the NFL, even after an infusion of $125M of free agent money on defense !!!! Yeah, canning Edwards was the right thing to do, but not bringing in a 3-4 guru to replace him and finish what you started was the dumbest, most incompetent, and clear evidence that the Bills organization is in total disarray. Another example is throwing big money to Fitz after five freakin games. Had they waited it out to see how he would perform over the full season, the absolute worst thing that could happen if he had played lights out would have been to "franchise tag" him in order to keep him. But no, a stupid and incompetent orgainization does stupid things, repeatedly. And, as Ron White said once or twice... "YOU CAN'T FIX STUPID" ! So, the moral of the story, and bottom line is. Until the Bills ownership changes, the typical things that fans look forward to ie, "next season", free agency, the draft... are totally futile and once again his offseasonwill yield no appreciable positive direction in terms of the playoffs and ultimately a championship. Gloom and doom? Perhaps, but it also is the pure and honest to God trooth ... "reality". It is what it is.

1) Any team not making the playoffs in 10 years receives no revenue sharing until they do. 2) Any team in the bottom third of the league on offense or defense for 4 consecutive years must forfeit $5M, and $6M for each consecutive year after that. 3) Any team that has the option to sell the naming rights to their home stadium but does not own the stadium, and does not sell the naming rights, the naming rights revert to the stadium owner.

Just an fyi. NFL coaches & scouts have zero respect for McShay... that was brought to light and actually publicized a couple of years ago before the draft.

There aint a player on waivers that this Bills should pass up.

So, what you're saying is this great QB prospect whose play has declined because he's on a horrible team with limited talent and terrible coaching, you want to bring to Buffalo to be the starting QB on a horrible team with limited talent and terrible coaching? Got it!

OK Fitz is out... enter Kyle Orton, Tarvaris Jackson, Rex Grossman, or some other loser. Bills just aint gonna bring in a QB that will make any significant difference.... Mark that down.

Blackouts... that is what this team needs. Come to think of it, that's exactly the cure for the fans. Blackout means they get to watch a real NFL game on TV.

But read a little deeper. The Jags bread & butter receivers are on the outside, so says Chris Brown. They don't offer much from the slot, so says Chris Brown. OK, well sit back & watch Sunday. Mularkey will concoct a scheme that puts some no name in the slot and he will procede to tear the Bills secondary to shreds this week.

Shocking. And, they believe this to be due to lack of fan interest? Maybe, maybe not? Perhaps the fans don't have the coin to pony up for the insane prices. And, what do 11 of 13 of these teams have in common? Their state re-elected our president. Hey, what a great idea... instead of a direct taxpayer bailout, the gubmint buys up large blocks of tix of these ailing teams. Then, for every week of uneployment or welfare one collects, gubmint remits to them a ticket to a game of the ailing franchise of their choice. Come on folks... think outside the box. Just sayin.

Let it go. It does not matter. The Bills would still suck as bad as they do, with or without those guys. There is only one possible happy ending to this mess... new ownership.

Who'd have thunk it? The Bills bring David Lee in (who's said to the mechanics guru of QB coaches) and Fitztragic has sucked worse than ever. At least we knew what we had in Fitz, a competent backup and marginal starter. But Lee, it turns out that he's a fraud and just another marketing gem of Brandon.

Are you freakin serious? What coach that's been a HC in Buffalo in the past 12 years got a HC gig anywhere else in the league? (Phillips is an exception... he was HC only in title... Jerry Jones was/is the coach). Buffalo is only a temporary destination for a coach that would not possibly be hired by another NFL team. They take the Buffalo job only so they can say they were a HC in the NFL. It might land them an assistant coaching job.... or college HC.... but once they've been to Buffalo as an HC, the word is out... you are an ass kissing lemming that doesn't have a clue what it takes to win in this league. What coach worth 2 S#its would come to Buffalo under the current circumstances? You watch... the next owner is going to totally purge this organization when the keys change hands.

Whaley? Ah, yes.... why do you think Ralph would hire him in the first place? Simple, because he meets the typical OBD "lemming" criteria. It's beyond me that people really think that any change in the Bills organization (under the current ownnership) will make any difference in terms of wins and losses. Keep sipping that koolaid. It cannot possibly happen until a new owner signs on.

It does not matter who you draft... period. There is no salvaging this team. Any sniffs of even a + .500 season will not happen until ownreship changes hands. You can mark that down.

What do you think TJAX will do? He might make a few plays, but he ain't gonna salvage the season, nor is he even a competent NFL starter... that's been proven over and over. There is only one potential savior.... Ralph's successor.
