  1. But but but... with all the amazing talent the Bills have and not one single player named to the pro bowl. Relax fans... the Bills have quite a few players making pro bowl money though.
  2. This is exactly what I mean when I suggest the problem with Bills fans is that they are an extension of the Bills FO and accept mediocrity. Instead of benchmarking against the likes of Denver, Atlanta, Houston, New England, Greenbay, amd the Colts, the bar is set at the freakin Vikings.
  3. Cuz he's done HC before and sucked. But, Ralph doesn't carry an "A" or "B" list of HC candidates in his wallet. Fret not thoguh, Jones is right up there on Ralph's "C" list and he could be had for minimum HC wage.
  4. Well, now we know the first ingredient in Brandon's fresh batch of offseason koolaid. Drink up folks.
  5. Players deemed to be good players on bad teams aren't necessarily good players. Basically they are their teams best option at the moment. I'll cede Levitre just on the fact he's started every game the past four seasons. He's logged more snaps than anyone on the team. Byrd is a "soft safety" on one of the NFLs worst defenses and probably the Bills worst defense ever. Safety is a position that is third from the bottom on the pay scale as noted above. If he were the best safety in the game you pay him. But in a league where the standard for safety is Reed and Polamalu, Byrd is a couple of notches below them. Safeties like Landry (Jets) and Wilson (Cards) are in the next tier... then Byrd in the third tier. If you're about getting the Bills to be better, you begin by getting better by getting players that are better than what they have now, and two thirds to 3/4 of the Bills roster needs to be turned over in the next two seasons to have a shot at the playoffs in 2016.
  6. Well, we know three things. He aint a HC, He aint an OC, and he hasn't got a freakin clue what a DC is or what a good defense is. (Wait, that's four things).
  7. WTF? Please, pefect combo for what, a new Burger King menu item?
  8. 3-4 is exactly what the bills need. Other than barnett, there is no pure 4-3 olb. Shep & white are both 3-4 ilbs. Moats is clearly a 3-4 OLB. Bradham could play in either. Anderson could also play olb. Carrington & mario are both big enough to be 3-4 des. Realy need a pure & dominant nt. But most of all an owner, hc, and coaches that don't have there heads up their ass.
  9. This plan is ridiculous, stupid, & a huge step backward. But, exactly the type of move that Ralph would make and Brandon would pitch... and could easily lure 40,000 stupid Bills fans to buy season tix.
  10. Think about this for a minute. What does it say about the Bills as a whole if Gailey believes Fitz gives the best chance to win? A career backup, and a very expensive one. I guess it makes sense if you don't think about it... or, if you have a top 3 defense and two 1500 yard RBs and WRs that can consistently get open on 6 yard slant routes as well as catch them.
  11. The only difference is, you know they'll be back with a vengeance next season. Unlike the Bills, they don't accept losing.
  12. Klein is a right handed Bobby Douglas.
  13. I just laugh at this sort of thing. I mean, really, this team is a 4-6 win team. Would cutting half the team make any difference? Does winning 6 games as opposed to winning 2-3 games make any difference except for draft position? Bottom line is you aint got a chance at the big dance. And, as long as ownership is the same, coaches, gm, players may change, but the competetive position of this will not change.
  14. Bills have had no use for a TE, other than for blocking, forever. Why look now? They wouldn't know what to do with a Tony G. or Jimmy G. The Bills would be better off doing what they did back in the early 70's... drafting an OT and converting him to TE like Paul Seymour. If they want blocking, get a guy that wants to put his head down and do that? They aint gonna throw to em anyway. It aint like his gonna be a significant part of their passing offense. I mean, really, how many NFL teams would Chandler start on? Certainly not on any playoff teams.
  15. Dude, seriously... are u 4 real? Rookie qbs eat the Bill defense for a snack. What do you think is gonna happen to the Bills D when they let the lions out of the cage (Brees & Rothlisberger)?
  16. 6-10? And that is with some luck. This is exactly why I advocate that every Bills fan put a moratoreum on renewing/purchasing Bills tickets or merchandise until at least October of 2013. Make these bastards earn our respect and loyalty.
  17. ... The Bills will have given up the most points in their history. An endorsement for continuity.
  18. Like the mildcat, this too shall pass. How do you defend the qb read option? It's really simple... "drill" the qb. You bring the wood and lay the qb out, even if it costs a flag or two. When teams invest $$$ in A qb like Cam & RG3 they'll lose that edge real quick when post acl or shoulder injury they are no longer effective.
  19. Dudes. Nothing is gonna happen. Are you not well versed in Brandon's tactics? Three years ago he made sure Shanahan's and Cowher's name got circulated. What did we get? Gailey pudding. Can't you see what this is? This is just another marketing drama concocted by Russ to give the perception that great things are happening and we all should run out and buy Bills season tickets and Bills merchandise. If Russ was courting Gruden or some other coach, he would not meet in any public place where figures like himelf and Gruden would easily be recognized. If the two actually met at Tempo it was done purposely to be seen and make you think the Bills are serious and bringing him in. There is no way on God's green earth this happens. Mark it down. Ralph can not handle strong coaching personalities number one, and number two Gruden will not allow Ralph to "cage" him (he's been through Al Davis), and three, he would cost Ralph a lot of money. Ralph has to spend to the cap.... he doesn't have to pay top $$ for coaches... and he won't pay Gruden $7-$8m. I've been around the block a few times and know exatly what to expect under this ownership. Obviously, many of you are either too young or too dilusional to realize what's going on.
  20. Comparing CJ Spiller to Barry Sanders is like comparing a squirt gun to nuclear weapon. Somone aint playin with even close to a full deck.
  21. The kind of QB I'd like to see the Bills draft is one that after being drafted by the Bills and later introduce to the media, steps up to the mic and says... "I hate losing, I won't tolerate it. I know this organization has been horrendouos over the past decade. I'm committed to winning 200% and the front office & coaches better be to. And, if the front office has a problem with me saying that, they can trade me right now... I'd rather be Eli Manning than Phillip Rivers".
  22. Notre Damers do not have a good track record of being good NFLers. For every really good one there are 20 that never should have been drafted.
  23. #3? Who's gonna coach em up to at least 20% of their true potential?
