I’ve seen a lot of chiefs games on the past three years and I don’t think I’ve ever seen Tyreek Hill drop a ball he should have caught. People talk about his speed and elusiveness, but I don’t hear people talk about what great hands he has.

Exactly. And people were actually suggesting this week that we should trade 2 first round picks for a 31 year old defensive player. And let’s not forget, the Eagles are a pretty bad defense. As is Miami, of course.

What’s not realistic? 10 wins against inarguably the easiest schedule in the league?

Yeah, I’m just so sick of watching an offense with literally zero playmakers. It’s just depressing.

They have the weakest schedule imaginable. The Bills might very well play only three games against teams with winning records. As I said, 10-6 is barely acceptable.

I think there is a bit of a drop off from Pat Mahomes to Matt Moore.

There are zero slam dunks on our schedule. We have a bottom of the barrel offense that’s going to cause us to struggle to beat even poor teams like Miami, Washington and the Jests. We should still win 10 games, but we’ll have fight and scrap every week in order to get there.

Doable? 9 wins would be totally unacceptable at this point. With this schedule, 10 is barely acceptable, after starting 5-1.

Stop with the straw man arguments. No one here is saying 5-1 isn’t good enough, and absolutely no one is trying to run Allen out of town.

Excellent post. The fact is, with the Bills’ defense (and with a less than dynamic offense) the Bills aren’t engineered to blow teams out. When they get a two or three possession lead, McDermott grinds the clock and makes the other team earn every yard and every point. As fans, we don’t always like that approach, but since he’s become the coach, the Bills haven’t blown a significant lead. I don’t understand why anyone is picking the Eagles this week. The Bills are at home and they just look like a superior team in almost every area, especially on defense. Some people might point to the Miami game, where the Bills struggled against a team that also appeared to be inferior in every area, but I’m pretty sure we won that game.

I will vomit if the Bills trade two firsts for a 31-year old defender. Von Miller is nowhere near what he was a few years ago. At least the Rams traded for a guy who’s in the prime of his career. It would also mean spending yet more assets spent on an already great defense, while Josh Allen is left high and dry, and we get to watch a bunch of 13-6 football games.

No, but Foster was definitely our best receiver last year when he played (I know, not saying much) and I’m not sure he’s even caught a ball this year. It’s hard to figure out. Are we sure Foster was a healthy scratch last week? I thought he was still recovering from a groin or something...

It does seem a little odd that the Bills are only -1.5 at home. Where did this game open up? If I understand what you’re saying, there is some data or algorithm out there that is enticing the big money toward Philly in this game, while the general public is betting the Bills, right?

Romo never had a game like Darnold did last night, and he was never reduced to a quivering puddle of tears like Darnold was during that game last night. Darnold is a bum and all his teammates know it.

I don’t understand. Who does Elway say hello to, and why? Does he say this in the forest, where no one else can hear? And why do we care if an awful GM says “hello”?

I was at the Romo 5 pick game and he actually played pretty well. He kept slinging it and brought the Cowboys back to win the game. Darnold, on the other hand, curled up in a ball, in a catatonic state. Not even remotely comparable.

It was more than just a bad game. It was an unmitigated disaster on the national stage, a laughing-stock performance. I think he's a bum. If he doesn't turn it around 180 degrees in Jacksonville, he's pretty much done. And the NY media are going to be RELENTLESS.

It's anyone's guess what the Pats would do at the position if Brady were to hang 'em up after this year. They would probably try to bring in a vet like Teddy Bridgewater and draft someone. And we don't really know how they feel about Stidham. What's certain is that they will still be a very tough team to beat.

Well, I guess we’ll never know, but they absolutely crushed the Steelers, and Brady put up all of 10 points and less than 200 yards total offense against the Bills. It’s more likely than not that they are undefeated even without Brady.

Tell me who they would have lost to with Hoyer at QB.

I think at the end, Darnold was intentionally throwing it out of bounds and to unoccupied parts of the field in order to avoid the humiliation of another pick. Never seen anything like it.
