  1. But under the old rules no one ever missed; it was just a waste of time. And under the new rules there is greater incentive to go for two, even though few coaches actually do.
  2. You have no idea what you’re talking about and yet you state it as an established fact...
  3. Oh, OK. The evidence so far is that you are wrong. Anything to offer other than your “eyeball test” (assuming you’ve actually seen him play this year)?
  4. Yes, at 22 yards a pop...
  5. The OP watches actual game tape and provides meaningful analysis of said tape, concluding that Rosen is actually playing pretty well, under very difficult circumstances. And that’s your response. Just go away.
  6. We should all hope that Rosen doesn't show enough this year to convince the Dolphins to trade out of the top draft pick in April, because they could make an absolute killing if they decide to do so. As bad as things are in Miami right now, it could turn around pretty quickly if the GM knows what he's doing.
  7. Wow, those are some big boy plays by #49, and that Ed Oliver hustle play was outstanding. Wonder how many other d-linemen would have called it good after getting knocked off his feet...
  8. Yeah, the concerning thing about Ford isn’t that he’s started off slow—that’s not unusual for a rookie O-lineman—but rather that he seems to be physically unsuited to play the position he was drafted to play. The didn’t move up to the 38th pick to draft a guard who is a converted OT.
  9. I’ve never heard anything negative about Metcalf (not Melcalfe) off the field. His dad was an NFL lineman, and from everything I’ve heard, he’s a really hard worker and a good guy. To my knowledge there were zero character red flags on him leading up to the draft...
  10. ‘99 defense also great. Love the Sam Cowart mention. And remember John Holocek? He was really good for a few years too. I really hope you didn’t sign up here just to make this ignorant post.
  11. Not true.
  12. I was thinking the exact same thing. It’s truly a no-brainer.
  13. I don’t think returning punts is very risky, from an injury perspective. Lots of teams over the years have had their best players do it, and do it well.
  14. I think Tre returned punts at LSU and as I recall, he was good at it. Hyde is a punt catcher.
  15. Two games vs Miami, one against the Skins, and one vs the Jests. That’s 8 right there. It would take a major catastrophe not to make it to 7.
  16. Not very funny or original. Your lame joke aside, I would say Marcel is infinitely more qualified than you are to weigh in on the subject at hand.
  17. Here is an article with some actual facts. For example, the Dolphins have 19 undrafted players on their roster and 15 players that were added to their roster after training camp began. In other words, it's not a roster with a lot of quality NFL talent. https://www.miamiherald.com/sports/nfl/miami-dolphins/article235500782.html And here's another, with lots of former Alabama players weighing in. https://www.si.com/nfl/2018/11/23/can-alabama-beat-nfl-team-nick-saban-reggie-ragland-marcell-dareus-mark-ingram
  18. Well, I’ll agree that you’ve got reading comprehension issues.
  19. You refuted nothing that I said. Please don’t act like you did. Not many. But some, yes.
  20. That’s a straw man argument. Most Alabama starters are at least 21 years old. The ones who aren’t are truly exceptional.
  21. Yep. That was an NFL factory that might very well have been capable of competing with actual NFL teams.
  22. Alabama has very few true freshmen or sophomores who start and the ones who do are absolute freaks, like Jalen Waddle.
