We're not winning this game. We leave too many points on the field, We are not getting enough of a pass rush to affect Brady. We are still making enough mistakes per game to where a quality franchise will expose us. We are trending upward but we are not there yet. If the Bills can actually play a perfect game we have a shot, but every missed opportunity will be magnified this week. maybe a creative gameplan makes the difference but you need more than a gameplan for NE, you need to pair near flawless execution. Hope I am wrong but right now I'm giving the points and expecting a loss. This team is good enough talent wise, just not execution wise IMO.

Incognito admits he was the one who screwed up in Buffalo
ddaryl replied to Big Turk's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Sounds like the meds are working then. He's coming back to his senses it also is a big FU to all those posters who said it was a mistake to ask him to take a paycut, and that the Bills made the wrong move. -
Maiorana's Report: Realism or Pessimism?
ddaryl replied to Tolstoy's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
There are definitely plenty of posters here already wanting to see Ford sit and ready to call him a disappointment… and there are growing numbers of people losing patience with Tremaine. So I think that's the dramatic portion of this show. Edwards is still very young and could still be playing college ball this year if he had chosen that route. QB MLB RT DT are very key positions that most are talking about under performing... So my general reference to youth could of been elaborated on. But I was kind of following the flow of the thread. Allen can't miss plays and leave points on the board. Edwards needs to make more dynamic plays from the middle. I think Oliver is doing well, and from what I read Ford needs quicker feet... If these 4 players all step up their game this week then we can surely win this game.... However I do feel that their is fleeting patience for this core starting to seep in and I feel its still to early for that level of criticism. -
NFL's newest franchise QB: Daniel Jones
ddaryl replied to PromoTheRobot's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It was his 1st start after being drafted quite high for the consensus. He is going to get that kind of attention for awhile. Add in the big market and the news is amplified. nothing to see here, just another internet pundit trying to make a buck, move along. Rational minds will need a dozen games to feel out Mr. jones. No different than Mr. Allen... -
Maiorana's Report: Realism or Pessimism?
ddaryl replied to Tolstoy's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
There are flaws in the team that will be exposed this weekend if we don't play a tighter clean game. That being said why do people here suddenly expect a fully gutted team 2 seasons removed to have every single position filled by an All-Pro. We have youth at many key positions and getting better comes with playing time... We will need to see how they clean up the slop starting this weekend. I surely expect to see things improve as the year moves forward. I'm not going to be calling for peoples heads if improvement is happening. Right now we are 3-0... Sloppy but gutty wins.. Can't really complain to much. I do not expect to win this weekend because of the sloppy play against an elite franchise.. I don't think we can clean it up enough yet. Hopefully they will play tough and make it a game. Hopefully they prove me wrong and win, but if I'm gambling I'm taking NE and giving the points -
Yes I did.. I still believe in this D and this O to come up big at the end of the game. You all can quote me till the cows come home. I wouldn't have gone for it because our Running game gets stuffed to often, and I felt a tie benefits us way more than a loss when the determine the wild cards and the strength of our schedule and the ability of this team to win at least 9 if we tied Cincin.

Is she going to stick the landing, or land on the stick ?

I disagree as we have seen this OL not block very well, but I fail to see why anyone would have a lack of confidence in our D and Allen/ Offense when they have shown us many times they are strong finishers and move the ball well late in the game when their is pressure. Plus the Bengals had the wind in their face. That's what 'm gambling on If you take the FG and you end up with a tie its still better than a loss for a team who can better absorb a tie than a loss for making the playoffs this season.. My odds say if its 4 and 1 you don't want the loss, but you can stomach a tie, and you have confidence in Allen and the Offense to drive the field again, and a FG kicker who is above average

Does Daboll's NE background benefit us vs Pat's?
ddaryl replied to ChicagoRic's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yes it helps. it helps because I believe DaBoll's success as a coach comes from having roots in the Bellicheck coaching tree. That alone gives him some insight to the mindset beign used in NE. Daboll is a dynamic game planner. He will have something dialed up for NE that we have not seen much of, or at all this season. It will be based on where he feels they have perceived weaknesses and of course how he thinks Bellicheck and Co are going to plan for us. Familiarity has to have some advantages we also had 4 different OL starting that sucked -
More evident than ever we need to get Duke up here
ddaryl replied to Kingston Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Duke will get his shot. But I am not sure he is going to be a great seperator. Duke is your out muscle position type of WR. I very much want to see Duke on this roster as I feel he is definitely NFL WR material... But no need to rush it. If we lose a WR to injury Duke will get his call and never look back IMO. -
Allen 3rd highest rated passer in 4th Q

Give me a team / QB who gets stronger in the 4th quarter and I'll show you a team that is going places -
Bills fan blows face off with fireworks...
ddaryl replied to Boca BIlls's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I have to laugh. Now its chic to say Buffalo Fan. .No longer going to call everyone Bills Mafia. Or is this a narrative switch ? The words Bills fan will now be associated with bad behavior and the words Bills Mafia is now associated with charitable giving and class. (Edit I see they did use the mafia reference on the video) Seriously who puts their face there.. -
Unfortunately the only way the Bengals trade Green is for the type of return they can rebuild their team with. We won't be parting with a 1st pick...… Since this is a 1 year rental type of pick up for us the best we would give the Bengals is a 3rd and I doubt that's what they would want

Our Defense was solid and Allen plays well down the stretch. I take the tie at that point because our OL is solid but still struggles some. I have great confidence in this team overall so why make it a 1 play game where a stumble or a bad block secures the loss. I've seen enough of this D and Allen to know they can make game winning stops/drives with lots of pressure on them. I liked our chances if the game ended 17-17 and there was OT and getting stuffed for a loss would of made what kind of statement ? Our OL is better but stil struggles.

We batted down 8 passes at the LOS by collapsing the pocket. You can bemoan the lack of sacks but this team has batted like 20 balls down at the LOS this year. That is quite impressive in itself. I mentioned above that with protection rules on QB's collapsing the pocket and getting hands up doesn't risk those ticky tack penalties. there may be some strategy to this whole scenario

Forfeiting this week's game makes sense.
ddaryl replied to BringBackFergy's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Ok.. I see this team much differently. -
We are a good team with rock solid coaching /game planning. Allen appears to be the type of QB who gets better when their is pressure. He actually plays loose when he gets comfortable. Our Defense is more than capable. It will come down to our offense (Allen) not leaving points on the field as they have the 1st 3 games I am not going into this game hoping not to get embarrassed. I am going into this game expecting the Bill's to win because the time has come for a changing of the guards and we are that team I respect what the Patriots bring but this is the game that changes the narrative, and the Bills will be ready.. HERE WE GO

Forfeiting this week's game makes sense.
ddaryl replied to BringBackFergy's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Why do you feel this way. New England has played the Steelers who are in a world of hurt, the Jets who are in a world of hurt and the Dolphins whom are just the worst football team ever assembled. I need to see New England play a few good teams 1st. Buffalo will be the1st good team the Pats play. Maybe we could stand in their way -
I am not a fan of us running Josh like a RB like we did against the Bengals... Josh is greatly improved on the intermediate and short stuff, but now the long ball is off. He is leaving points on the field. Hopefully he is ready to polish this portion of his game up. His decision making against the Bengals was off some. It appeared he was having some issues dissecting the Bengals D, but his ability to persevere and be strong down the stretch is a strength that I will take over long ball accuracy.... for now

See I'm different. I want the patriots at their best. That's were I will get the most satisfaction when we win.
