  1. So self proclaimed future Hall of Famer Rachad Wildgoose joins former self proclaimed 1st overall pick Mike White on the Jets delusional squad.
  2. Fournette was a free agent after Jacksonville released him because nobody would give them a draft pick.
  3. Yesterday I checked the Ch 6 schedule on WRGB's website & it says they're showing the Bills game. Today I checked my Verizon Fios guide & the previous few days it said the Jets/Dolphins game. Now it says Indy at the Bills. This is a must game on home TV for me since I have to be home by 4:30.
  4. I don't think he hated it. What he hated was working for a coach & GM who didn't want him around, drafted another RB in the 1st round and took away his playing time. If I was treated as poorly as Lynch was by Nix & Gailey, I'd hate my time under them too. "I'm just wearing this jackset so I won't get fined."
  5. If the line doesn't stay healthy, they're done. Before the Jax game I told a fellow Bills fan who I went to view the game at OTB that the under was a lock since neither offense is going to do anything. It was pretty predictable that the O in Jax with all the missing parts was going to struggle. I also said no way they would cover the spread that day. Throughout the game I regretted that we didn't drive to the casino where we could have bet the game instead of OTB. Unfortunately, I didn't have my car that week (It was in for a new alternator & I didn't get it back until Monday) and couldn't get to the casino 22 miles away to bet what I thought was a pretty obvious situation that the O would sputter. I don't believe the team blew off the Jags game, all those injuries & the lack of any decent running backs caused the problems. By the Jets game the line was much better & Knox was back. I think people underestimate the importance of Spencer Brown. With him the line is adequate. Without him it's a mess.
  6. Please stop with the late round RB stuff. The sweet spot is late 1st or early-mid 2nd round. There's no reason to expect to find the guy below that. We have 2 3rd round RBs who aren't cutting it. Go further down & the odds decrease of finding a franchise back. A franchise back is the final piece to an unstoppable offense. OG & RB 1st 2 rounds in either order. It's time for us to stop cheaping out on those 2 positions. It's too bad Ford is a bust but it happens. If the Bills have to trade up into the 40s in the 2nd round to get their RB, do it! By the 3rd round the best RBs are all but gone. Sure you can find a late round gem every now & then, but they're the exception, not the rule. Here is the draft status of the NFL top 5 rushers so far in 2021: D. Henry: 2nd pick 45 J. Taylor 2nd 41 N. Chubb 2nd 35 E. Elliott 1st 4 D. Cook 2nd 41
  7. More like the Jags game proved that if you have Williams at RT, Boettger & Ford at Gs, Moss & Singletary behind those lines, no Knox and Josh getting swamped by a pass rush the O-line can't handle that any team can beat the Bills. Fortunately, the Bills won't be going into games with the problems that existed in Jacksonville. The Jets game proved that the Bills can get away with 1 weak spot at G, but 2 holes at G destroys the offense. As long as the Bills don't have Ford & Boettger out there at the same time, things should be OK.
  8. Yes he did: https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2021/11/12/mike-white-if-you-ask-me-i-should-have-been-a-first-overall-pick/ “I couldn’t tell you. That’s definitely the scouting departments across the league and what their interpretation of me is,” White said. “I have 100 percent confidence in myself. So if you ask me, I should have been a first overall pick. But that’s neither here nor there. That’s four years ago. I try to get my mind off that and be in the here and now and execute what my job is right now.”
  9. I think it will be a long time before Mike White says again that he should have been the 1st pick of the 2018 NFL draft. Yesterday he played like he should have been Mr. Irrelevant, because he was irrelevant. Instead of looking at his I-pad on the sidelines when the Bills had the ball, he should have been watching the guy who can say he should have been the 1st pick and tried to learn from watching him.
  10. The parking lots were filled pretty early (our bus got there around 10:50 AM). There were a lot of empty seats close to 1 PM. My guess is they just tailgaited too long before going into the stadium. Because so many people left early it was probably easier getting out after the game, but our bus still was in a lot of traffic until we got into North Jersey. When I drive I try to get there really early, close to when the gates open, so I can pick a spot close to the exit headed north. The last time I drove, I stayed the night before at a motel on Rt 17 so I could get there early enough without waking up at a ridiculous time.
  11. I watched the broadcast this morning out of curiosity about the announcers & I came up with an opinion that I don't expect too many to be upset with: If we were watching a NE game & from the very start the announcers were saying how good they are, like the announcers did to the Bills yesterday, we'd be complaing how bad the announcers were. While announcers can compliment a team, Dedes & Feeley were practically handing the Bills the Lombardi Trophy.
  12. There was one series that we had 6 guys on the O-line lined up left to right Brown, Dawkins, Boettger, Morse, Williams & Bates. I thought it was odd that both starting OTs were lined up next to each other. The team will keep experimenting until they find the best 5 for the playoffs.
  13. The Jets may have messed up the most important thing a team can do-draft a QB high in the 1st round-twice in 4 years. Even worse the QBs they should have taken (Allen in 2018 & M. Jones in 2021) went to division rivals who have embarrassed Saleh's D 3 times this year already with a 4th yet to come. Did the Jets even look at the Bills/49ers game last year when the Bills toasted Saleh's D? If so did they even ask him to explain last year's game against a team he would be facing twice a year? Maybe he sold them on "My D will get better as the years go on."
  14. Why is everyone leaving out the Davis boys? Gabe Davis went over 100 receiving yards. Davis Webb gets snaps in a real game. (Maybe he doesn't get a game ball but I'm guessing he kept the ball when the game ended)
  15. #229 is Doug Whaley.
  16. Best rookie mistake goes to Zach Wilson : I really wanted the Jets to draft me. I entered the contest using a real life experience. There's only 1 entry per person.
  17. I think he was talking about a fantasy football draft, not the real one as some of the responses indicate.
  18. They lost the USFL case. Gruden will win & get $1.
  19. Right now Fox is the only network offering games in 4K. They've been showing the Thursday night games in 4k on Verizon Fios (I don't know about other cable systems) & had the World Series in 4K. For some reason if I channel surf during time outs it takes a few seconds for the 4K signal to come up unfrozen & with sound. If I leave it on the 4K broadcast it's fine-except if the game lasts too long & goes beyond it's scheduled time & then it just goes off the air. .
  20. There's really no way to check out the area from the stadium, it's pretty isolated. Depending on where you are staying, I'd suggest parking as close to an exit that gets you out in that direction. You can get stuck there a long time if you leave at the end of the game away from an exit. You need to get there early, so the best thing to do is plan some tailgaiting either with your group or the NYC Bills backers. I'm going on a bus trip so I'm saved all the aggravation of the Meadowlands parking lots. The last game I went to down there in 2019 I got there early & parked as close to the exit going back to Patterson Plank Road which leads to 17 north. The other time I went in 2019 my friend in Beacon drove & we got there late & basically just sat around the lot until the traffic cleared.
  21. Going back to the AFL days, the 1-12-1 1968 Buffalo Bills only victory was against the subsequent Super Bowl champion New York Jets.
  22. Panthers owner David Tepper.
  23. I guess absence does make the heart grow fonder. Is Carolina's GM trying to get fired or is this one on their crazy owner? They're paying him like a Pro Bowler when nobody else wanted him.
  24. He can't be worse than XFL refugee P.J. Walker.
  25. Only if OBJ can be our starting HB.
