You know what I heard about Kordell Stewart...

Switzer said it & Bayless ran with it in a book. -

It was his coach Barry Switzer who said that about Aikman. At the time I thought Switzer was lucky that Aikman was a bigger man & didn't knock him out. I'm sure if another coach told that lie about his star QB, a lot of them would have slugged him right in the face. -

Anyone who bets the Chiefs will get a lesson on what home field advantage means. Here's what I think: Having home field in the Super Bowl is huge. Combine that with KC's injuries on their O-line and it's Tampa all the way. If the line is KC -3.5 I'll probably split the bet between Tampa with the points & Tampa on the money line as insurance in case KC gets lucky in a close game & wins by 3, but if it's 3 or under the whole bet is going in with Tampa on the money line. Last week when I thought the Bills would be in the game (I wouldn't have bet it though) I wanted nothing to do with playing Tampa at home. I believe KC is in big trouble being the 1st road team in a Super Bowl. I think it's even worse with KC traveling within 2 days of the game.

He was interviewed using social distancing & had to use a microphone. When they asked him why he thinks he's qualified to be their next coach, Culley answered the question with a question. He said "Who is the best QB of the 2018 draft and who was his 1st QB coach?" Houston's management answered "Josh Allen & you" Culley then looked at them & dropped the mic. Houston management immediately said "You're hired" Seriously, I agree with the other poster who stated it was similar to when the Bills hired Chan Gailey. Nobody with any decent credentials wanted the disaster that is awaiting Culley in Houston.

Deshaun Watson officially requests trade from Houston

Houston should not take Tua as part of the trade. They should only accept draft choices & draft a QB of their own choosing at 3. -
If I were Houston, my strategy to rebuild
Albany,n.y. replied to Cson76's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I hate to say it but the only landing spots for Watson are NYJ & Miami, with him probably preferring Miami since they're a lot closer than the Jets. They're the only teams that have two #1s including a top 3 spot to draft Watson's replacement. Houston is only trading Watson if they have a high enough pick to draft his replacement. The OP's trade would leave Houston in a spot where they wouldn't have a shot at a top 5 QB & worse, has them relying on a 4th rounder who didn't see the field in 2020 and has a good chance of being the next Jarrett Stidham. -
2021 will have a 17 game regular season ?

We're getting a huge break playing Washington. That game might be the decider for home field in the playoffs. -

Their top RB averaged 4.0 yards a carry, our top RB 2.8 yards a carry. -

Man, get it through your skull our RBs suck. I can't argue with you anymore because 1) You don't know what your talking about when you refers to modern football & 2) You're too blind to see we have no talent at RB. Bye, Felicia. -

Not with our RBs, Josh Allen was responsible for the rushing yards because we were lining up garbage at RB. Chiefs RBs outrushed Bills RBs 109-32. -

Modern football: All the teams that won playoff games with the exception of the Bills had a potent running game. KC, the defending champs drafted a RB in the 1st round last year. You have no clue what modern football is, it requires a threat at RB, otherwise the D tees off on your one dimensional offense. -

Then we have no chance of making it to the Super Bowl. No, the draft is about finding the best players at a position of need, not some grade that you gave someone. 3 years ago a lot of people thought Josh Rosen was a good value at #10, because they gave him a top 5 grade, what good did that do him? -
How does Josh work on his nerves...?
Albany,n.y. replied to Adamb412's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
A RB who can actually gain yards when he carries the ball and not drop passes would do wonders for Josh's nerves. -
32 rush yards from our running backs
Albany,n.y. replied to Hapless Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Beane totally understands that the Bills are inadequate at RB, that's why when the Jets released Bell he tried to sign him but lost out to KC (where he was injured & out yesterday). While there are other positions of need, the Bills need to spend their #1 pick (30th) on a RB, just like KC did last year with pick 32. After the game I declared Singletary is the Terry Miller of the 21st century-best season as a rookie & then fades away. -
Super Bowl Tix now available!
Albany,n.y. replied to BillsMafi$'s topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Halftime of Bills game. On location now $9,450 which= $11,151 after fees. Stub hub is even higher than that, over $12,000. -
It's not the number of and rabidity of the fans in the stands, it's the players situation. The Bucs would be able to sleep at home all two weeks (with the possible exception of the night before) and not have the grind of a personal schedule that a normal Super Bowl team has. If it's GB, they have the same travel & lodging schedule as the Bills. Playing a Super Bowl at home is a HUGE advantage that would be difficult for any opponent to overcome.

Super Bowl Tix now available!
Albany,n.y. replied to BillsMafi$'s topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Saturday the day before conference championships NFL On Location price is now listed at $7,225. Add in the 18% service fee & it's now $8,525 to get into the stadium after the league announced 22,000 seats but 7,500 of those only available to health care workers making a pool of only 14,500 seats. That's a $1,500 increase since the capacity was announced.
