  1. Technically yes, but we don't know the terms of the rupture, maybe Haley was respectfull of Chan when he fired him. Only them know.

  3. I don't know if I want the first pick this year. Some of the better QB prospects might not declare, there isn't a Suh or a Jake Long. I don't want to end up settling with AJ Green.
  4. He would excel at that position worthy of pro-bowl recognition.
  5. You're saying that if we have the 1st pick, he doesn't come out because he probably will be rated the 1st QB in the class and he doesn't want to play with us?
  6. He played some but not too many snaps. I'd venture to guess that no more than 10. I think these were the predominant fronts on the DL:(from right to left) Edwards - Williams - Troup - Stroud = on early downs Sp. Johnson - Edwards - Williams - Stroud - on obvious passing downs.
  7. I wouldn't have a problem with the forward progress if the player in question is actually on the ground churning his legs aided by his teammates trying to gain more yards, there and then he's fair game to be stripped off the ball by the opposition, but once he's in the air he has zero possibility of going forward on his own, so right there and there the refs should have ruled the play dead regardless of if he was being pushed forwards by his teammamtes, which I think it's illegal btw. I agree with Alpha though, not turnovers, no momemtum shifting, no free points to the opposition.
  8. 11 of 17 for 65% third down conversion. That stat on the road against a team like the Ravens is a great one.
  9. This, is the nature of the blind squirrel Seriously, I wouldn't exaclty call it knowing but you have this guy taken on the 7 round that every time he jumped on the field something positive happened. Then you hear coaches and teammamtes raving about the guy in practice, how good he is at this and that. Personally, I just wanted the coaches to give him more chances to show what this player is all about, but then they brought the most selfish player in the entire league, with Lee and Reed I knew he wasn't going to see playing time last year. I loved Gailey's decision not to re-sign both TO and Reed and find out what you really have at the WR position.
  10. I like this one: http://www.pro-football-reference.com/ Sorry Barbarian I misread your post, I thought you were talking about the NFL in general. I like several draft sites, draft countdown is good, CDS draft is good for fans mock drafts and other stuff,
  11. Hey Jim. go here, they have every link there is in the net: http://www.myp2p.eu/broadcast.php?matchid=89206&part=sports
  12. Some fans are expecting (not wishing) the Bell implosion since the year started and no matter how much they wait it won't happen. Even when he struggled last year you could see the guy was talented. It was just a matter of time, he was a total project when he was drafted. He will never be Joe Thomas or Jake Long but the guy keeps getting better with every snap.
  13. The best thing for now is to be patient and hope that Edwards feels the normal heat of a guy not doing his job, maybe he reacts and starts pushing his players. Last year the Titans were in a similar position with Chuck Cecil. They lost the opener against the Steelers in a close game and then they dropped 6 games in a row looking down right inept.
  14. I agree and I hate the reactionary position people tend to take sometimes. Unfortunately it's a premium on message boards. Having said that, I'm not liking what Edwards is trying to do on defense, to the point I sometimes don't understand what he's trying to accomplish. I know we don't have the ideal talent to be a shutdown defense, not even close, but this defensive roster is not 30+ ppg bad, even with a new system.
  15. I agree with you, at least make the guy active. I think the reason he's not seeing the field that because they're trying with a heavy rotation, they see Spencer Johnson as the guy with more chances to rush the passer as an end on that base defense. At times Williams and Dwan Edwards would line up as DTs with Stroud at LDE and Sp. Johnson as RDE. I hate injuries but it will be interesting to see what's the status with Stroud's injury.
  16. Yeah, to battle all game and lose that way I can't blame the guy.
  17. Sorry mate, this regime has yet to draft a DB with any pick. When that happens in the 1st round you can talk about it and I will agree with you, I hated the Levy & Jauron combo and though their decisions will follow this team for a couple of more years they are a thing of the past. I srreamed for Branden Albert when we took McKelvin, I loved our tackles at the time I hated the softness of our interior linemen, most notably Dockery, but it's in the past so I can't do anything about it right now. Are Nix and Gailey perfect? Far from it, I question the Kelsay extension and I don't understand how this defense can be this bad if we have so many teachers on board (I liked they retained Catavolos and Saunders though). Hopefully Nix and Gailey are true to themselves and if Edwards is the guy that isn't cutting it as DC they can be objective and evaluate him as they are evaluating every decision they make. I would like for this rebuilding process to be done in one clean sweep but that is hardly realistic. In the meantime I will focus on guys like Spiller, Carrington and Troup and see what they can do with more playing time. Go Bills.
  18. This kid is the typical athlete that is a passer and not a QB. Total project that to me has high probability to bust.
  19. haha

  21. I guess Trent Dilfer is a Bills apologist....(watch the video)
  22. Of course there isn't one because as you mention 1st round draftee Branden Albert I look one spot to his right and I see an 11 year veteran and 4 time pro-bowler in Brian Waters that entered the league as an undrafted free agent. It doesn't matter where you come from, what's important is if a player can play or not.
  23. I really like Mallet and I feel both him and Luck are easier to evaluate and project to the NFL than Locker because of the offense they run. Mallett has an amazing arm and for a guy that big he moves well in the pocket when he has to. If people view the Alabama as a negative for Mallet they shoud held the Oregon game against Luck too. The problem I have with Mallett is the allegedly bad reputation he had in Michigan and now Arkansas. I don't know if the rumors of him being a collosal dick are true or not, if they are, it's a huge red flag.
