  1. Disagree. Don't think he has great hands not from watching him in Buffalo. He's nowhere near Fitzgerald or Brandon Marshall in terms of talent. He's got fast tight end speed, slow for a WR. He's a #2 or #3 receiver IMO. Bills need a true #1, one that has speed, hands and can run all the routes. That said he is a good addition if the Bills can add a #1.
  2. My wife was on the Oprah show about 20 years ago as a guest. Not as a member of the audience, but the actual subject of the show. The show was about neighborhood security and we were portrayed as poor examples of security. Things like leaving keys in the car in the garage, doors unlocked and unsupervised kids running amok around the neighborhood were shown as what not to do. We live in an exceptionally safe area. She came home and said Oprah was all business off camera and not very nice. Oprah barked a few things at the guests prior to going on the air and said almost nothing to them afterward, not even a thank you. A staffer gave my wife a coffee mug when done and sent her on her way. Oprah has the reputation for being very self absorbed and egotistical so she'll fit right in to politics if she runs. He's not going to prison. It's just a narrative chosen by the left and supported by the media. Like running and end around on 3rd and 25.
  3. He hasn't proven anything yet in my view. He's not a good NFL backup or starter or a bum that should be cut IMO. Too soon to tell, but of course if he's as bad as so many of the expert posters on this board say, the Bills will surely cut him soon.
  4. Right. I'm sure the coaches will demote him to the PS or just cut him, for after 1 rookie season and about 1 game he's surely proven he serves no purpose as you say.
  5. Track guys try to stay light. Maybe now that he's full time in football he's put on some muscle in places that make him stronger football-wise?
  6. If teams were smart and with practice squads at 10 players now, they'd hire a QB development coach and put 2-3 QBs on the practice squad. The league needs more QBs and more QBs to be working on their own development rather than being a scout team QB most weeks.
  7. Somebody is gonna get AJ McCarron and that somebody might end up with a very good QB.
  8. Well if the coaches and front office agree with you, then for sure they'll cut him soon. Otherwise why would they invest another minute in him if he's as bad as the other guys you mention? If he's still on the roster after the draft then obviously those that get paid to evaluate him disagree with you.
  9. Waaayyyyyyy too soon to make that assessment.
  10. It's really easy to like Tyrod the man and the teammate and to appreciate the effort he has made. He seems like a great guy. Several years ago I went to a Bears game and sat in the first row. One of the things you notice down there is how tough it has to be for the QB to navigate the field on passing plays. There is an awful lot going on in front of and around the QB, it happens very quickly and receivers are often scattered across a lot of area. It's easy to see why it's such a tough position to play and maybe that explains in part why so few are really good at the position. Those that are : Brady, Rogers, Brees and some others are really special. Tyrod simply can't do what the better ones do, but he is still a great athlete and likely a great man.
  11. Bortles is a lousy passer. Dude can run though. I was surprised by his speed. That doesn't make him a good QB.
  12. Well when you score 3 points the other team doesn't have to do much to win.
  13. Bills have a lot of needs. QB WR OL depending on who's back and healthy RB depth DL CB if they can't sign Gaines. They could easily have 6+ different starters next season.
  14. 2017 was a great year for the Bills. Got a new coaching staff and front office established, changed the culture, shed some underperforming and questionable players, reduced payroll, stockpiled draft choices, found/developed some good new talent, had a winning season and a playoff appearance. Restored some respect and faith among the league and fans. All that and they should have a very good handle on their needs going forward. Hard not to see that as a big success.
  15. Really? Romo IMO has quickly become the best analyst in the business.
  16. Probably no trade value. Today really put an exclamation point on the idea that he's not the answer for the Bills or any other team as a starter. Someone could make a lot of money if they could figure out how to better develop QB's away from NFL teams. The teams themselves just aren't that effective in doing that.
  17. Exactly and you run clock down there too so they don't get the ball back with much time or timeouts.
  18. Get McCoy out of there. He's not effective. Great effort but put the other guy in.
  19. The right music gives you energy.
  20. Come on people, with LeSean out or very limited, Thurman Thomas.
  21. Even if you love Gruden as a coach and he's probably a good one, you couldn't sign him for let's say 7 years at $60 million? NFL owners are idiots.
  22. Screen pass to Dimarco who has been under utilized this year.
  23. Vlad Putin since the election. Prior to that they rotated between Wall St., the bank of China, Iran, The Clinton Foundation and Wall St. again during the Obama regime's reign.
  24. Rob Ryan or Doug Whaley
