AJ's not going anywhere unless a team makes a decent trade offer for him at some point.

That's why coaches get paid the big bucks. The criticism comes with the paycheck. Nate may start because Allen mentally isn't as far along as Nate is at running the offense, but that gap should close and when it does Allen's athletic ability makes him the better player. That would be the reason Nate starts now but doesn't hold onto the job.

Zay Jones. He's got bust written all over him. -
Trump Should Have To Testify Under Oath
keepthefaith replied to Trump_is_Mentally_fit's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
2+ years of being under scrutiny by political adversaries within the IC, justice and special prosecutor with every damn thing being leaked along the way and not one single well founded charge against the Donald. You and your ilk are delirious. Agree. Mueller is barely relevant at this stage. He's going the way of Obama who was irrelevant most of his 2nd term. -
Different year. Different QB competition. Different offensive coaches. Different results thus far. He'll probably play his way to the bench but he's earned the job and looks like the QB that gives the team the best chance to win week 1.

Which is why Peterman will start. No coach could look him in the eye and tell him it wasn't good enough without losing some of the locker room.

We were told by media several times when Obama was in office to respect the office and the person occupying it.

Gotta keep the Bears guessing.

Teddy can play but I think you're selling Nate short. He's still got years remaining on a very cheap rookie deal and he's showing some ability. Weakish arm aside, he's got the brain, the mental clock and is a decent athlete. He's a great prospect as a backup. -
At every bracket every taxpayer got the same reductions. As for the top rate it went from 39.6% to 37% federally and those people certainly lost the most on the $10K per year state tax cap, so they didn't benefit all that much and some will actually pay the same and more. The alternative minimum tax is revised but still in effect so some of the top earners still get stung by that. Do some math and you'll see. Corporations and small businesses got breaks, badly needed IMO to keep businesses competitive globally. Labor is a supply and demand commodity and we are a country of self determination and this is what has allowed the US in a relatively short time historically to become the worlds largest and free-ist economy. We are a competitive economy, meaning workers compete with each other (some exceptions such as unions which seek to make everyone the same like it or not). CEO's of America's larger companies have gigantic responsibilities and are worth every nickel especially when compared to athletes and artists IMO who also are supported by lower paid workers and have a fraction of the responsibility. No offense to the bottom compensated workers but most deserve to be there as they have not done nor are they willing to do what is necessary to improve their economic standing. Some are younger people on their way up (that's good) and some are simply happy where they are (also good). Many of the rest are simply not deserving IMO.

What is better, no guns, or more guns?
keepthefaith replied to Security's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Still too soon. Dems will still be running the city then and pretending they care about all of Chicago while the slaughter of people of color continues and there aren't enough jobs for all those that want them because the "better" neighborhoods prefer illegal immigrant labor and enjoy sanctuary status. -

Statistically speaking though YTD you only have about a 15% chance of being killed if shot in Chicago. The shooters aren't very accurate, so the risk of death is fairly low. -

It is an amazing city if you can live and work in the better areas and you can put up with the traffic, awful politics, taxes, crime (it's bad), rats, expensive everything and a lot of wacky people.

Head over to the Austin neighborhood and report back.

The article is clear evidence that sanctions are being effective. If there is a strike, though, just do it in a fashion that widens the strait by about 10 miles so that territorial waters rules are nullified.

Peterman Cumulative Preseason Stats
keepthefaith replied to The Bills Blog's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
No expert here but an observation. Looking at Nate throwing it often looks to me like he does not step into his throws very well. His back almost appears arched upright or even a little rearward. That for sure will reduce velocity. Now he might be compensating a bit for his height, he's not a taller QB and so his launch point being a little lower might mean he releases the ball at a bit steeper angle. Just looked at some Jim Kelly highlights on youtube. There is a noticeable difference in the body position of the 2 QBs when throwing. Jim definitely stepped into his throws more.
