  1. Yea, but wouldn’t he look cool driving to the beach in his pickup truck with that big dolphin on the side. ?
  2. Though it's a contrarian view, I don't believe it's a foregone conclusion that there will be regime change there.
  3. "Solid" has gotten Kyle into the Pro Bowl a few times, so I guess it's not too bad.
  4. I totally agree. I remember a HC, Jimmy Johnson then with the Dolphins IIRC, saying Ted was the reason the Dolphins lost the game. He was a dominant force. His father, former Houston Oilers linebacker Ted Washington, Sr. , was also a good player back in the day.
  5. I had forgotten about Montler, RIP. That was a fun year to be a Bills fan, one that gave us hope. I do remember Jarvis, 6-7 285 and great potential. Unfortunately knee injuries cut it short. Here's an interesting article about him: https://www.seattlepi.com/sports/football/article/Where-Are-They-Now-Bruce-Jarvis-1290493.php Ten years after establishing the record, Jarvis received a bottle of Dom Perignon and a laudatory note from Simpson. On the 20th anniversary, everyone was summoned to Buffalo, seated in owner Ralph Wilson's box and saluted at halftime of a Bills game. Jarvis remembers introducing his wife, Cindy, to Simpson, and his famous teammate oddly noting similarities between her and his former spouse. Six months later, Simpson was arrested for the murders of ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend Ron Goldman and later acquitted in a sensational trial.
  6. Trading Dareus wasn't just about cap savings. He wasn't playing to his contract, wasn't a great locker room fit and wasn't part of the culture they are trying to build. Further, the draft pick they got was used to draft Teller, who hopefully in the long run will prove to be a greater asset here than Dareus would be at this stage.
  7. Not too sure about him. https://thedraftnetwork.com/2018/05/27/2019-nfl-draft-player-profile-jesse-burkett/ Especially this: Smallish frame that could use more mass, especially in the lower half. Limited to zone usage in the NFL and may never succeed if power issues aren’t sussed out.
  8. Go ahead and think about it, we'll wait. ⏳
  9. No, it hasn't been fixed. I found it using the OP's topic title here. If Kiko was supposed to be a spy in that game, he was very ineffective. Josh owned him all game long.
  10. I would think Leslie Frazier would be on the list before Daboll. Especially based on where the Bills Defense is ranked as contrasted to Daboll's Offense. Also, he has Head Coaching experience and even interviewed for the Colts Head job last year.
  11. That's because once the ball crosses the plane of the goal line, it's automatically a touchdown and the play is dead at that point. There can be no fumble. It's irrelevant to that play what happens after that (including any, then dead ball, penalties which are then assessed on the kickoff).
  12. What makes you think Barkley is "teaching?" He was brought in to be the back up, because Peterman was ineffective (at best). He's had his hands full just learning the next game plan, let alone the whole playbook. He certainly hasn't had time for "teaching."
  13. Actually Culley did play QB in college, though he wasn't the full time starter. http://prod.static.chiefs.clubs.nfl.com/assets/pdf/2016/coaches/david-culley.pdf
  14. If you put a microscope on any particular decisions made in any organization you will find disagreement. Some prove out in the long run, some don't. What about the poor decisions Belichek has made through the years (signing Gillislee to big money, among many others) has it hamstrung that team? Though I don't agree with all of them, I see this organization making better decisions than any management here in the last 20 years.
  15. The inferred impatience is with the new coach & gm. To expect them to turn the direction of the long mismanaged team in a year and a half is the definition of that. Further, to think they were able to get the team in the playoffs in their first year, while trying to position it for a roster for the long run, was significant in itself. Geez, give these guys at least 3 years with their finger prints all over it, they weren't responsible for the 17 lost years.
  16. McBean have stated their intention to build through the draft. They are not trading picks away for stop gap. If there was no intention of giving Anderson any playing time they could have just signed him on as an assistant qb coach, and thus saved the roster spot.
  17. I totally agree with that; it was a unique experience particularly as compared to today. Do you remember watching practices out at the Blasdell Motel? I got Jack Kemp's autograph there after a practice & was thrilled as a kid. I still have it somewhere.
  18. I don't remember an injury being that significant. Even in his ROY season he had 10 TD's to 20 Interceptions. He finished his career with 35 TD's to 68 Interceptions. He had trouble reading defenses and floated his passes.
  19. Whoa, I have to totally disagree with that. Shaw had no arm, the opposite of JA. All he could throw were floaters, hence his very high interception rate; not only in the pro's, but going back to his college years. One of the best trades the Bills ever made was Dennis Shaw for Ahmad Rashad.
  20. You generally hear, as many here have said, that foot work adjustments can improve accuracy. However, during the draft Troy Aikman said accuracy can't be improved. So that's one "expert's" opinion.
