  1. I hope the King is going to be ok. Going through this thread brought back some quick nostalgia
  2. "We can overcome this one"-Darryl Talley during the comeback game
  3. Hahahaha. Thanks for a good laugh
  4. Mularkey was always a first class guy, no question about it. Some would question if he can be alittle too soft as an NFL coach though. Cheeseburgers anybody?
  5. Lol our Super Bowl teams did enough partying to last the franchise a lifetime
  6. If you do spend some time in Lewiston be sure to check out the Water Street Landing. Awesome outdoor patio bar on the water with a beautiful view. One of my favorite bars in WNY during the summertime.
  7. No love for the Wonder Years??
  8. Married with Children. Sometimes I wake up in the middle of the night and can't fall back asleep and they usually have a MWC marathon on.
  9. I like to bet on football but never on the Bills lol
  10. Taste of Buffalo was yesterday, gotta add that to the list.
  11. Keep partying and cling on to the college lifestyle as long as you can until you find your full-time job because someday it will truly be over for good
  12. Was thinking about this thread yesterday while I was at my neighbor's annual fourth of july party. Been going there since I was a kid, close friends of the family and although nowadays I only really get to see this group of people once a year at the July 4th party its like we are still all just as close as we used to be. Of course we talk about the Bills, its like a common bond. It is the people that make Buffalo such a great place.
  13. Thank you for sharing this. Its hard to sum up Buffalo in words but I think you certainly suceeded with this post. If we were sitting next to each other at a bar right now having this discussion I would buy you a beer Sir. Cheers
  14. So Sorry for your loss, Cherish the memories...
  15. Has anybody ever been to the other big Bills Bar out there? I think its called the Harp
  16. That sounds good to me. How was the Fenway tour? I toured the new Yankee Stadium a couple summers back and Jacobs Field awhile back and really enjoyed both tours even though I'm not a very big baseball fan. Are you familiar with the Bleacher Bar at Fenway? I've been told its a Bills Backers bar?
  17. Cool. I just looked at the Duck Tours website and that looked really interesting so I think that will be added to the must-see list.
  18. Thanks for the replys guys. We plan on attending a Sox game, but I would also like to do the tour of the stadium however they have games every day we are there and I am under the impression stadiums do not offer tours on gamedays? Can anybody confirm or deny that? Lots of good suggestions so far. Is the Cheers bar not even worth going to for one quick drink and a couple pics to say that we were there?
  19. I know this has been done before but I tried searching and I coulnd't find the old thread. Just found out I'm gonna be going to Boston next month and I've never been before so just wanted to get some general ideas of bars, restaurants, and tourist attractions I should be making a point to check out.
  20. I've gone there to see Our Lady Peace a couple times. Yes it was very crowded but OLP are probably gonna draw one of the biggest crowds you will see at those Canal concerts. Crowds at concerts have never bothered me before, to me its just part of the atmosphere
  21. Haha funny story. Reminds me of when I went down there for the Blizard game in 07, went down on a bus filled with Bills fans and we went out bar hopping the Saturday night before. A very friendly Browns fan approached us in the hotel lobby and said it was an absolute must that we check out this one bar and that it would be the spot to be that night. So we head over to that bar to find out they are having a Browns Backers party that night and they made me take off my Bills jacket and hat and leave it on the bus before we could enter. We only went in there and stayed for one drink before we left and went somewhere else but we all got a good chuckle out of it. The atmosphere at the game was very similar, alot of friendly smack talk between both fanbases but at the same time you could sense the mutual respect we had for each other. As for people bashing the city itself, I don't understood no its not a Miami or Arizona but it is the exact same type of town that Buffalo is that everybody on here will defend to the death. I've been there a few times and have always had fun. It isn't the most ritzy city but you can def make a fun weekend out of it. This is a tough year for me financially but if I can swing it, I will gladly make the 3 and a half hour drive.
  22. Chalk up another vote for the 96 Chicago Bulls. That was a once in a lifetime team
