I'm not so sure masks will be mandatory...as of right now I am feeling pretty optimistic that by the Fall on this year things should be pretty close if not completely back to normal.

Sad news..RIP to an all-time great

What’s your earliest memory of the Buffalo Bills?
BillsPride12 replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Some of my earliest life memories are from the Bills Super Bowl years. I was in elementary school during the runs and it was pretty nuts, the hallways would just be decked out in Bills posters and stuff, huge pep rallies before the Super Bowls. We even had a guidance counselor that was also a Buffalo Jill so that was kind of a big deal. Also at that time in my neighborhood there would be huge parties every Sunday for the games, someone different would take a turn hosting it each week. I didn't really grasp it at the time what it all meant but it's pretty cool to look back on it now. I always joke around but it's true that no matter what happened with the Bills after the glory years there was a time in my life where I only knew the Bills as a dominant powerhouse going to the Super Bowl year after year after year...and nobody can ever take that away from me! -
Bills ticket prices going up...
BillsPride12 replied to LabattBlue's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The way I see it you can't beat those prices for a team that is at AFC Championship caliber right now and will be a potential Super Bowl contender for the near future. -
In the Sabres case that's the entire team
-
That's exactly what I was worried about. You can't make a sequel to a classic 35 years later
-
On WGR this morning they mentioned some courses should be open next week...conditions will be way too s****y for my liking though. Just cool to know season isn't too far away now
-
The arena's a dump but that's the least of our worries right now

I've played Batavia CC before. If I'm driving to Batavia I am playing Terry Hills!
-
If that is true..that is shocking to me...you would think they would feel the exact opposite since the Bills just made it to the AFC championship game
-
I've never played Dande Farms but have heard good things, will have to put it on my list to check out.

Best bang for your buck in WNY is Terry Hills in my opinion. One of the most fun courses to play and very reasonably priced. I do like Glen Oak though

It's starting to feel like us WNY golfers might finally get an early Spring for a change!

Losing a parent - when does it start to get easier?
BillsPride12 replied to Patience's topic in Off the Wall
Being able to vent and let it out does help to a degree even though it doesn't fix things. Listening to other people's experiences is comforting for me. I cannot relate to losing my parents yet on a personal level but there has been a lot of stuff that has happened with my extended family over the years and now nobody really talks anymore and the Holidays are always very difficult for me..this past Christmas I made a post on here just kind of venting and asking if anybody else could relate and it was very comforting and it did help me cope reading through everybody's replies. -
This is complete speculation on my part but if this is even true about him having a room dedicated to the Bills it might have something to do with the 90s era Bills in particular because that was around the time he was coming up. I would have to say Shaq is not a true Bills fan because I feel like we would hear way more about it but he might have a fondness for the Jim Kelly/Bruce Smith/Thurman Thomas days...he might even know some of them personally but like I said I'm just 100 percent speculating. I don't remember ever hearing this story.

Not a huge book guy but I do like reading a few Sports books a year. Right now I am currently reading Three Ring Circus by Jeff Pearlman about the Kobe-Shaq Lakers dynasty years. Probably not the reading material the OP was looking for but for any Sports fans looking for some good light reading it's a pretty good behind the scenes look at those Laker teams.

The Sabres are going to break the record for the longest playoff drought in NHL history
-
I get it because they have really become unwatchable and this has been going on for a decade now. But I still think it would hurt like hell if the Sabres left town. They have too much history here and WNY is without a doubt a hockey town. It's not like Buffalo would be given an NBA team or something like that all of a sudden if the Sabres left and there just isn't much to do in the Winter time. If they Bills could finally figure things out I have faith the Sabres will eventually figure it out. When the Sabres are playing well this town is electric during hockey season.

Season tickets selling fast?
BillsPride12 replied to The Firebaugh Kid's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Last time I spoke with my ticket rep(about a month ago) she said that the entire 100 level was sold out for season tickets and there was only limited seating available in the 200s and 300s and even that might get filled to capacity. Really shouldn't come as any surprise after the season we just had and the Josh Allen factor. Bills tickets sold pretty strongly even during the drought years. -
