Replace 12th man from Ring and add #BillsMafia

Well you clearly weren't around for the Super Bowl years if that's what you think -
How Good or Bad was our Defense,Really?
BillsPride12 replied to Buffaloflash's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The best defense is a great offense....but I do think we will focus on the defensive side of the ball this offseason -
The Colts are probably the strongest team in the trenches on both sides of the ball in the league. They might not be stacked at the skill positions but Rivers can still play and I knew the level of line play they are capable of would present challenges. Will be interesting to see what moves the Colts make going forward because they have the foundation to be a legit contender too.

I honestly think a lot of Bills fans went into this game underestimating how good the Colts were. The game was much closer than I would've liked/expected but I knew it was going to be a slugfest and I think Buffalo played better than some Bills fans are making it out to be. There's no way we were going to steamroll them the way we were burying all those teams to close out the regular season because they were the first real test we've had since the Chiefs game.

Kyle Williams pregame video in stadium?
BillsPride12 replied to Giuseppe Tognarelli's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I always think about how it's a shame the timing was off and he couldn't have still been around to be a part of this team. His personality would fit in so great with this group even though he would be a bit past his prime. But I feel like it would also be like having an extra coach in the locker room. -
This tattoo represents the Bills organization from 2000-2017

I wasn't too familiar with him, liked what he had to say at his introduction press conference and was willing to give him a chance. Wasn't sure if he was going to be the guy to take us back to being a true contender but I definitely thought at the bare minimum he would be the bridge guy that took us from being perennial doormats into at least being a respected playoff team...so here we are in Year 4 and he has exceeded my expectations. Well done Coach!

Are you a season ticket holder?

Did you just opt out or did you actually give up your tickets? -
Are you a season ticket holder?

Tip for anybody looking to be a season ticket holder next year...I would jump on that ASAP...they are already taking deposits for next season. There won't be many options left with the hype surrounding this team right now if you wait until next season. -
I know this has been done on here a few times before but there was always a lot of talk about people close to dropping their tickets etc...but if you held on and kept your season tickets you must be feeling pretty good right now. As soon as things get back to normal having a ticket to the Bills game is going to be the hottest ticket in town. I'll kick things off....Yes I am a season ticket holder...Section 129!

I'm much, much, much more disappointed in the timing of this run and not being able to have full capacity fans in attendance. After what we went through during the drought years that one really hurts

I think he's a year ahead of schedule with the season he's had this year but this was always his ceiling from the day he was drafted and is the reason he was such a high pick to begin with. As for people saying he looked terrible in his rookie year that really is just laziness. He looked extremely raw in his rookie year but he always showed flashes. You could see the progression in year 2 where you knew he wasn't going to be a bust.

What if the Bills hired Frank Reich instead of Rex?
BillsPride12 replied to Draconator's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Who cares...we just finished 13-3 and have completely dismantled everybody we've played the last 9 weeks and are heading into the playoffs as a legitimate Super Bowl contender. There's no need to play these fantasy games anymore...this Bills team is the fantasy! -
Here is the definition of Failing UP. In Denver

I'm sure the Broncos organization are kicking themselves for not drafting Allen. Broncos fans have to be pretty upset about it too. Oh it just feels so nice to be on the other side of this for once -
I'm Thankful For the Bills

Sorry to hear about all that you are going through. It really seems like so many people are going through difficult times in their life in one way or another these days. I've never seen anything like it before. Although not the same kind of stuff as you are going through, I have had to deal with a lot of issues going on with my own family the last few years. The Bills have been such a source of positive energy for me during this rough stretch in life. If there was ever a time where I NEEDED a Bills team like this it's right now lol. Hopefully they can keep this run going and give us something to be happy about and be a good distraction from the real life problems. -
Momentum heading into the playoffs

I just wish things were normal and we could've had a full capacity crowd at the stadium. The place would be BONKERS -
Hail Murray a blessing in disguise?
BillsPride12 replied to The Red King's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I felt like it definitely lit a spark in them and gave them more of a killer instinct mentality going forward. Sure they were a young team that was going to progress throughout the season either way but I think that heartbreaking loss was a part of the progression. You could tell the players and coaches were truly hurting after that loss. They seemed just as hurt over that one as the Houston playoff game last year. Then we had the BYE week right after it so it really gave them some time to have to sit with that feeling in their gut. That seemed like a major turning point in the season to me where we were on a mission to completely bury teams. The coaching and game planning seemed much more aggressive when we came back from the BYE. -
Why it was tough to be a Bills fan
BillsPride12 replied to Billsfan1972's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
A lot of Bills fans don't like admitting this but we got extremely lucky getting into the playoffs that year. -
I really couldn't stand him. He is right at the top of my list of the coaches I hated the most during his time here if not right at #1. To recap: -He was unbelievably arrogant for a guy who hadn't accomplished squat as an NFL coach. Stories backed that up as none of the players liked him. -He was a phony. He grew up outside of the NYC area but remember when he was hired he tried claiming having a background as a WNYer -Which is pretty funny because at the same time he seemed like he felt like he was too good for Buffalo...remember the whole St. Doug thing? -The way he quit on us at the end showed his true character even though it was a blessing for us -It always bugged me that a decent amount of Bills fans saw him as a good coach because he got us to 9-7. I get it because fans are going to always try to look at their team with the most optimism possible but it goes to show you how low the standard was here after the Jauron and Gailey years that people were actually excited about where we were under Marrone I know we still had to suffer through the Rex Ryan clown show for 2 more years after Marrone but I'm so thankful we have a coach like McD now who is everything I always dreamed of wanting to have in a head coach in Buffalo during the drought years. It's so true when they say a football team takes on the character of it's head coach and McDermott is a leader of men. Complete opposite of a guy like Marrone the Phony in every way.
