Yep. I remember sending something very similar to this to My Aunt when she moved to Las Vegas back in the early 2000's. You can also tell how dated it is by the Thursday in the Square reference.

Why did Gregg Williams fail as a Head Coach?
BillsPride12 replied to JetsFan20's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Big difference between Lombardi and Gregg Williams though. Lombardi's players absolutely loved and respected the hell out of that guy. Gregg Williams was just a prick. -
What is the worst loss a good Bills teams has had?
BillsPride12 replied to C.Biscuit97's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
After how much it was referenced after the Titans loss I'm surprised that Chiefs loss on MNF in 91 hasn't been brought up more in this thread. That's the one that sticks out to me. We got Thumped that night. -
The Maddening Mystery of McDermott's Disappearing Defense
BillsPride12 replied to Logic's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Individually? No. I don't think any one of those guys would have had an extreme impact on the Defense getting derailed if it was just a matter of losing one of them. As a whole? I do think that has had a major impact on the regression of this Defense. You are talking about 4 out of 11 starters on a "sum of the parts" Defense. But if you look at the rest of my post you will see that I also think they were probably overrated to begin with due to having an easy schedule. So you take a defense that was already a bit inflated in terms of where they probably actually ranked and then take away 4 starters and replace them with guys who haven't been able to fill the role and that is why you are seeing such a drastic change in the Defense this year. Some people think it is some huge mystery but when you break it down it really isn't as puzzling as some people are making it out to be. Just my two cents. -
The Maddening Mystery of McDermott's Disappearing Defense
BillsPride12 replied to Logic's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
You can only go so far with a "sum of the parts" type of Defense. At some point you need to have ELITE talent to be an elite defense. We just don't have anybody on that level. We used high draft picks on guys like Edmunds and Oliver who were supposed to fill that role but they are not having that type of impact at the NFL level. I have watched a few Steelers games this year and they have playmakers all over the field on their Defense. The losses of Lorenzo, Star, Phillips, and Shaq are turning out to be much more significant than anybody was anticipating. Last year's defense probably did look a bit more inflated because of the level of competition they faced. After 6 games I think it's a matter of this Defense just isn't as good as most people thought or were expecting this year. -
Imagine TBD Circa 1992 After These Two Games
BillsPride12 replied to Like A Mofo's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Whether internet or no internet there will always be hot takes. That's just the way society is, look at everything going from a politics standpoint right now. I can only imagine some of the takes that were circulating around barstools throughout WNY back then. -
We Need Elite Pass Rushers
BillsPride12 replied to Milanos Milano's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Without even throwing blame at Beane because the salary cap is what it is but it really is a shame that it's structured where you are pretty much forced to cut ties with guys like Shaq Lawson and Jordan Phillips. With the way the defense was playing last year Continuity would've been great but I just don't see how they could afford to keep those guys with all of the contracts they have coming down the line. The guys they had to sign this year to bring in as replacements are just not living up to their expectations. I really hate the business side of pro football. -
AJ Epenesa weight loss
BillsPride12 replied to Royale with Cheese's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
That's interesting. I had the same observation about thinking Epenesa looked smaller but not being sure if it was just because he was surrounded by NFL players now compared to his college days. His bread and butter as an edge rusher was brute strength and power so I would be surprised if McDermott wanted him to play at a much lighter weight in the NFL. -
The defense is missing an emotional leader
BillsPride12 replied to Sharky7337's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Edmunds was drafted to be a cornerstone of this defense and with that territory comes leadership responsibilities but you can't be the leader when you are just about the worst Defensive player on the field(not an exaggeration this season). I love Ed Oliver as a person, seems like a super cool dude but I think he might be too much of a fun-loving and laid back kinda guy to be a defensive leader and he isn't performing on the field right now either. This team is really lacking a Kyle Williams personality right now who can not only talk the talk but walk the walk and lead as an example and have guys respond. -
Although that loss really stung last night I had completely forgotten how hilarious and entertaining the call in shows and message boards can be the next day after a bad loss. This thread is turning into an all-time classic!

Weak, soft or just overmatched?
BillsPride12 replied to Toledo Bill's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
C'mon guys this is a hell of an assumption! Although the Bills did look awful I highly doubt this was the case -
If these guys can somehow convince Kuechly to come out of retirement and take over Edmund's job at MLB then all is forgiven in my book

My 2 biggest disappointments this year are Edmunds & Oliver

Edmunds has been bad..regardless of where he was drafted -
My 2 biggest disappointments this year are Edmunds & Oliver
BillsPride12 replied to LB48's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Edmunds has looked absolutely horrible all season and it's clear as day. I don't think that's the case with Oliver as he has his moments where he can make plays but at the same time he was supposed to be a monster and a gamebreaker but he has really been just average up to this point. I've been saying for awhile this defense lacks elite talent. You aren't going to have a top defense in the NFL that can carry you to a championship without at least having one or two elite level players. -

Any Big Tree Inn people on here?
BillsPride12 replied to BillsPride12's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Danny. So it sounds like he sold the bar a year or two ago...does anybody know what happened to him? Sounds like he might have been fighting an illness for awhile. Sad news regardless -
I haven't seen any talk of this anywhere but I saw on Twitter recently the owner/founder of the Big Tree Inn passed away. I didn't know him personally but I did get a chance to shoot the ***** with him for awhile when I was in there one night. Great guy, I was sad to hear about this news. The Big Tree is a staple in Buffalo Bills history. Does anybody know what happened and if there are plans for the bar to continue to operate or is this pretty much the end of the Big Tree?
