  1. I always liked Rivers. At the bare minimum I was really hoping he could've at least made it to a Super Bowl towards the end of his career. He deserved to play in at least one.
  2. Someone needs to inform her it's a Bills fan tradition to post nudes after a big Bills win
  3. Christophaaa
  4. Does anybody else remember the Ball Burglars era? That one didn't take off too well lol
  5. Not really a fan. Considering what the Mafia stands for I always thought it was a little silly to be associated with a football teams fanbase. I really miss the 12th Man days but I'll always be an old soul and miss that time period in life. But I've also come to accept that name isn't going away anytime soon and it's like Marv Levy once said "If you don't change with the times, the times change you" Just gotta roll with it. First and foremost I consider myself a BILLS FAN, the Bills Mafia stuff is more of a gimmick
  6. You can't erase history. Many of us would not be the diehard passionate Bills fans we are today without the Kelly Super Bowl era teams. That was an incredible era of football. It was all we've had to fall back on for the last 25 years or so until this new era...Finally! This current Bills team has the potential to win multiple Super Bowls so when it's all said and done this could up going down as the greatest era of Bills football but we still have to get there before we can even worry about that. Even if that does happen it in no way erases or diminishes what happened in the 90s in my opinion. Here's an interesting tidbit I came across over the weekend that I was really intrigued by and I feel like it's very relevant to this conversation. The Super 70s Sports Twitter account posted a picture of Reggie White and Buddy Ryan from the late 80s/early 90s Kelly Green uniform Eagles days and there were a ton of Eagles fans reminiscing about what a great era that was for them even though they actually never even won a playoff game..one Eagles fans actually said that was the most enjoyable era in Eagles history..so of course someone else asked even over the Super Bowl winning Eagle's team to which the guy replied and I looked it up to get the exact quote "Yup most enjoyable and greatest. It was the vibe, the energy, the I don't know. No team in that city has ever captured the city's spirits like Buddy's teams besides the Bullies" So that really got me thinking about how I feel now v.s. how those 90s Super Bowl teams were for us because there really was just something very special about that time period in life and the way it felt. I love this current Bills team but I also don't think I love the NFL as a whole as much as I did back then so it makes ya think and ponder over things.
  7. With all due respect you haven't been paying attention then. A lot of these guys are HUGE Bills fans now. On Twitter you can always see a lot of tweets of excitement by the alumni Bills players and even their wives. Kelly is a huge Bills fan. I have seen tons of videos of him going nuts in his livingroom during Bills games that his wife puts out there on Twitter. He even has his own season tickets for the home games. One of my favorite tweets I've seen all season was after we beat the Bronco's to clinch the AFC East, Thurman's wife tweeted out "Party at Jim and Jill's basement tonight"
  8. Yeah I saw on the pregame show KC is allowed to have 16,000 fans today and they are out there tailgating
  9. I agree that you can tell this team HATES losing. That's the mark of a champion right there. The old Michael Jordan you hate losing more than you enjoy winning feeling. I never saw that feeling from any Bills team(post Super Bowl years) before McDermott got here regardless of the talent level. But going back to the Houston game and then again after the Cardinals game you could see and feel the pain from the entire team after those losses. You can tell they used that pain as motivation going forward
  10. If you find it be sure to post it
  11. Did that last night. I'm hurting this morning...but was worth it!
  12. I know there's a clip of Bruce Smith singing this after the Raiders 51-3 game but I can't find it on the internet anywhere
  13. The Steelers have a locker room full of headcases. Whenever I pay attention to what's going on over there it makes me even more thankful for McDermott and The Process.
  14. I got about 4 hours of sleep tops....down from my usual 6. Bills anxiety is high right now!
  15. Dumb and Dumberer...I knew that one was going to be a huge mistake before it was even released
  16. First the thread about the guy who got fired because his boss wouldn't give him the night off to watch the game and now this....playoff football is in the air in the 716
  17. You can tell playoff football is finally back in the air in Buffalo baby....and I'm loving every minute of it!!!! This was the first thread I opened up after a long day at work and got a lot of amusement from it. Some great posting all around in this one. Is it Saturday night yet!?
  18. I think the Colts game was more playing against a pretty solid team that presented us with some matchup problems instead of the Bills needing a wakeup call or going into the game taking them too lightly.
  19. How do you like the view from being in Row 37? I used to be a bit lower row wise but recently switched sections and now I'm higher up because I didn't have any other choice(row wise, still in the 100 level)? I figured it will be fine but it's always to good to hear some first hand reviews
  20. It's going to be a tough game. But it's the divisional round of the playoffs it's not supposed to be easy
  21. That's fair. Even though I see it differently I can understand that point of view. I can't see the Pegula's taking it down though. Like I mentioned in another post, I imagine Bills Mafia will be recognized at the stadium in some way or another at some point.
  22. While it's true nobody really refers to Buffalo fans as the 12th Man anymore, mostly because of the Bills Mafia rage, but I dunno I still feel like it's strongly connected to the Bills Super Bowl era and wouldn't want to see it come off the wall because I feel like then your erasing history.
  23. That's the Raiders thing...let them have it
  24. Yes but you can't erase history either. The 12th Man is heavily associated with the Super Bowl runs and it's not like you should take Jim Kelly's name off the wall of fame because someday Josh Allen will be going up there ya know? I'm sure once we achieve some true success in this era(which I think we're well on our way) Bills Mafia will be honored or recognized in some way(not sure it goes up on the wall but there could be some kind of statue or plaque outside the stadium or something)
  25. Agreed. Well said. It was the next step that needed to be taken. I think from here on out the goal is Super Bowl or Bust(not for this season specifically but for the McDermott/Josh Allen era)
